Anyone else excited about the new iPad? I've been holding out since Christmas knowing that they would be launching a new version in the 1st quarter. They came through with the 3 things that I was hoping for with the retina display, improved camera, and quad core processor. I'd be excited about the 4G too but I am just going with the wifi version.

As excited as I am about a better resolution screen etc... I don't think it's enough for me to sell my iPad 2.

I think I'll wait for the next one.

Now the new AppleTV on the other hand......might have to pick it up.

I went with Great Bowls of Fire. Apparently it doesn't matter what I call it because once again I failed to make the podium. I came in 3rd and only 1st and 2nd get prizes.

Third isn't bad. Not asking for the recipe but if you want to make a pot at the Convention, I am in a 1BR. Will get the ingredients and bring them up. Not that anyone should cook during vacation.

Since buying my Mac Book Pro, I am an Apple cult member. Going to buy the I-Phone when the new one comes out and am looking for an I-Pad. Will wait until the frenzy slows down before getting one. Not sure on the 4G or the Wifi.

I rarely get them, so i don't really look. I do notice it in the upper right telling me I have an unread message... eventually.

Well...the good news is that it's still nice here today. Supposed to be 68.


It's going to take some getting used to. I tried for about 45 minutes without any luck falling asleep so I took the mask off. Will try again tonight.

I'd totally get a DDC tattoo with my membership #. It's the cost issue for me. If I had free or discount tattoo access, I would get lots of them.

I think one would be enough for me... but so indecisive about what and where that i will probably never commit to it.

Well... I just got back from a 1-on-1 office visit with the chiro doc. He showed me the xrays of my back and neck. According to what he said, I'm in pretty bad shape. Probably take about a year or so to get my spine in a "normal" condition. Tell you what though... he cracked my neck yesterday and it sounded like a gun went off! And had immediate relief! Unfortunately, my insurance does not cover any chiropractic services Not sure I am willing to dish out that kind of money yet for his services.

ugh. no insurance coverage is a beverly..

I followed the announcement online. Wifi is the way to go. I have never ran across a need for 3 or 4G. The monthly cost of the data plan just seems to high.

They may be getting close to being old out. The Apple store is showing error when you try to order online.

We ate at big river brewing at the boardwalk. A little pricy ($30 for me with beer sampler and tax & tip), but the boardwalk is too neat to skip.

I'm always excited about apple products even though we bought an Ipad 2 in Nov. because those extra features didn't warrant the wait for me. I like the new features but I'm not sure the ipad 2 even needed the dual core processor to begin with, so the quad core is def. overkill. It handles about anything you throw at it. The camera is the biggest thing my ipad stinks at. It's quality is pretty bad, but the video quality is great. We never really used the camera due to the size of the iPad making it not very functional. We take tons of video with it, and use facetime to talk to family. You will enjoy it. Really cool device.

Ouch... Chiroparctor's kinda scare me that way.

Ive been a few times as well, but that crack, you are right, the immediate relief is awesome, but I can't help but wonder if the crack is my back or the Dr.

It just doesn't seem normal - is your spine / neck / body supposed to be quickly jerked to the point where it cracks.

I think I paid $50 for mine years ago. I'm sure if you re-use the needles it's a lot cheaper.

It really all depends on where you go and what kind of tattoo you get (color obviously being more expensive than just black). Generally, you're looking at from about $40 and up.

My three tattoos cost me a total of $180. The one on my left arm was the most expensive, at $90, but was done by the best person in Green Bay (Packers often go to him for their tats). On my right arm, the drum name cost me $40 and the symbol $50, both were done more locally, but by different artists.

Seems like a good price. I got a small tattoo about 15 years ago, all black ink, and it cost me $75...

We will be going August 2 - 7, staying at the HoJo across the street from the DLR entrance.
