So, we're not shutting down a thread?

The interest in that was there for a while, and then seemed to wane and disappear.

I'm happy to start one and see if we can do it... as I still believe it would be a fun, "accomplishment" to add to our ranks of silliness - but the speed in here has diminished the last week or two. So it might not be possible to accomplish.

Give me a heads up if there is enough interest. I'm always up for setting a record (just don't tell Jimmy there will be post padding)...

Well I still think that it's worth a try.

So I'm pretty much planning on opening a SPECIAL EDITION THREAD tonight. We'll see what happens. It we can do it - awesome! If not... then we just aren't as awesome any more, with too many divided interests, I suppose. Can we do it? I'm willing to try!!!

Norm: P90X isn't to bad until you realize you have to do Ab Ripper X 3x per week. That's when you really realize how out of shape you are when you can't keep with a15 min ab workout.

Stopher: I could probably try to throw a few posts in tomorrow to see if we can kill a thread.

Good News Bad News:

Good News - Booked a 1 BR at Boardwalk for 1-10 to 1-15. The Aluani Reservation is killing me points wise. 2012 points are gone and I had to borrow from 2013. First time I had to borrow that many points this far out. Have to scale back on trips or room size for a while. That or pay cash for a room.

Bad News - One of DD's best friends just got kicked out of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at school. Reason? She was late with one of the final papers. No appeal, no discussion. This is a kid that was with Andriana in the program since the 1st Grade. For the many that never heard about IB, it was developed in Switzerland and is a rigorous academic program. Now she needs to make up "regular" classes and will not get her diploma until the summer. Like the rest of these kids, she was getting A's and B's in college level courses since her Freshman year.

I am freaked out. DD says that she is on top of stuff and I know that she is but I am freaked out.

Good and Bad News. Game 2 of the Lacrosse season was today. They got killed again but played much better. Many of the girls on the other team played together at club level for 5-6 years. The Lacrosse playing, Pirate Princess was the star of her team. Moved well with the ball and got 4 shots off. One was stopped by a great save by the goalie and one dinged the crossbar. The other two were also close.

So.... tomorrow's LEAP DAY. Anyone have any "big" plans for your extra day this year? ...

I have to give a presentation to approximately 20 counties via Adobe Connect on high tunnels and season extension tomorrow evening. I don't like technology so I am actually hoping the storms in the forecast come in and take out the power so i don't have to do it. I've done the talk so many times I'm sick of it and have to do it the next day at the far eastern edge of the state for local access cable.

I'd rather do just about anything else with my "extra" day this year. What I really would like to do is work on a couple of straight razors I'm restoring or just get more than 6 hours of sleep.

Wow CJ that kinda sucks about DD's friend.

Hopefully it becomes a learning experience for Pirate Princess, and she stays on top of her work.

I can't do the 10 minute ab work out now. So, I know I made right decision, but I'll get there.
