Matt

Good morning.:surfweb: just finished watching the race on my dvr and that was one crazy race.

I think the "joke" itself.... was that he can't make the joke - not that there really is a joke... but the words and concepts lead up to a premise that would lend itself well to a joke... (or maybe there was a joke :rotfl2:)
Uh oh...Brian's on to me!

I would love to join the club. My family was laughing at how many of the qualifications I met.
Welcome to the club!

So - I thought I'd share a little bit of drama with you guys.

And airlines wonder why consumers rank "used car dealer" and "massage parlor operator" ahead of them in consumer satisfaction surveys. Way to stand your ground!

Good morning guys :surfweb:

Morning Dave. Have to get the brakes fixed on Crash's car and then watch her play a Lacrosse game.

Good Morning Guys here is a link right now of the Fantasy going into NY harbour

http://nyharborwebcam.com/
655am right now

When I lived in NY, my apartment was on the Brooklyn side near the Verrazano Bridge. It was really cool watching ships come into the harbor under the bridge. One time during Fleet week I took the day off and watched them come in. Impressive. Saw the newest Queen (Mary? Elizabeth?) leave on her maiden voyage out of NY. They had to time the tides right because it was that close to hitting the bridge. Would have loved to see the Fantasy sail in.

I stayed up to watch it live. I kind of regret it. The end was very anti-climactic. :sad2:

I'm not sure that NASCAR helped themselves much with the changes this year. The new areo package seems to cause more wrecks than before, and you still can't get out and pass for a lead without the tandem draft. I wasn't too impressed.

So my DW was giving me some grief about the amount of pins that we purchased on the trip. Each kid had a pin necklace with a starter set of 7 pins (so $30 each) and then I bought another starter set to spread around between the 3 and let them each buy a couple of special pins. I also bought some pins for myself.

I (of course) dismissed her concerns, but when I got to work today and started counting my pin collection, I'm starting to see that she has a point. At current count, I have 117 Disney pins on my board at work.

Hello, my name is Chris, and I have a Disney pin collecting problem...
My DDs all have collections and DW has a few herself. I think I have just found a reason to start collecting pins of my own. More stuff to decorate my office with!

I agree. seems like there was more actual racing when there were no restrictor plates or aero packages to hold them back.

'Morning all...

For the last several days it’s been quiet ‘round here then all of a sudden I get busy on something and y’all go Chatty Carl on me. Let me see if I can catch back up here…

I would love to join the club. My family was laughing at how many of the qualifications I met.

Welcome sir.
Grab a beer from the fridge and jump on in…
we’re glad to have you here.

These restrictor plate super speedway races have become all about the draft. I think it gives drivers a new challenge, but have never liked Daytona 500 as first race of season.

So we are under two weeks until our trip and I'm hesitant about our Garden Grove ressie for our epcot day. I'm concerned that we will likely be in the world showcase that afternoon and not sure if it is too far of a trek over to the GG for dinner? Was thinking maybe via napoli or mexico for dinner? Or just roll with the GG ressie?

haha nothing like second guessing yourself at the last minute :lmao:
I have eatin at both and I have to say I loved both places if you are going to be closer to one or the other you cannot go wrong but i will say i had a great time with chip and dale there wife left for ladies room with kids and i told them i made them dissapear and that they could join me for dinner so they sat with me for a few pictures .

Tonight my sons and I are going to the "Wild Game Feed" event at our church. It's an annual, guys night event, where there's all kinds of really cool foods, like bison, rattlesnake bites, and other manly stuff. Plus comedians after the food. This is like the 5th or 6th year they've done it, but only my 2nd time going. Looking forward to hangin' with my boys tonight.
that sounds different hope you guys enjoy the fun

The end of April can't come soon enough. I want to go to Florida.
end of April I got till Aug 2013 :rolleyes1

I think I'll be wild this afternoon, and make some brownies!
have fun

I MIGHT have a meeting with some providers up in the Chicagoland area in the next few weeks. If I do - I'd love to possibly visit with anyone available. I'm still working on details now. If it works out - I'll be sure to post about it.
Im actually going to be in Chi town 3/6 - 3/12 actually in Sivas it is near the Iowa Boarder ?

Good aftermorning/not quite noon. Relatively uneventful weekend which is the kind I like. We came through with out anyone coming down with some sort of illness which has been a rarity this winter.

Trying to decide what kind of things we are going to do on our FL trip in July. We are renting a house with a pool so for the most part we are just going to be relaxing. We will be going to MK one day and I think we are going to go eat at Ohana on another. My 2 BIL's are not real big on Disney so we aren't going to over do it.
Thank orlando there are many things to do good luck on choosing

Well, after the first Sunday in Lent (I've been late to post it here), I have managed to refrain from alcohol and also included daily exercise. I struggle with both, especially the exercise part. But, it is my effort this season.
good luck I so know the feeling about losing the weight being hard , 2 years ago i lost 30lbs then went to Disney and the Diet never returned :lmao:

Wow. Anybody watching the race? Juan Pablo Montoya just smoked a jet dryer. The flames would be worthy of a spot in a Captain_Oblivious TR.

I wasn’t watching originally, but when I saw that they were still racing at midnight, I stopped to see what was going on. That must have been about the time they started back up. Not much changed amongst the leaders from there to the end, so I didn’t really need to bother. If you like caution flags though… I’m sure it was entertaining.

I prefer to see racing up front and passes for the lead, not cautions.

So, no, I wasn't too impressed and I was kind of disappointed I stayed up so late to watch it.

It's times like these that I'm glad I have no interest in Nascar... :rotfl2:

Welcome aboard!

We were wondering... (when your house would be vacant for a long period of time)

:lmao:

I don't mind posting about vacation, but I take my "friends" list seriously, limiting it to people I would trust. And my security settings are set so that only friends can see my posts.

So - I thought I'd share a little bit of drama with you guys.

Obviously the flight is overbooked and they're looking for people to switch flights. Unfortunately, they chose to lie to their customers in order to get them to change flights rather than tell them the truth that it was overbooked!

:sad2:

Ridiculous. Why not just be honest and say it's overbooked? People know that airlines do that all the time. Some passengers count on it, hoping they can be first in line to get a free flight somewhere.

Wow. Anybody watching the race? Juan Pablo Montoya just smoked a jet dryer. The flames would be worthy of a spot in a Captain_Oblivious TR.

Considering it was jet fuel involved, I would think it would fit in a story about FreezinRafiki's van.

Thanks. The food and drink changes are easy, but am not sure if sustainable. Hopwfully, i can find sime long-term balance. As for the exercise, I played in high school and was in good shape in college. I went to UL and even played with Greg Minor in some pick up games when he was freshman. (He went pro for a few years but was most recognized for not paying child support.) Now, 12 years of marriage have just sucked the life out of me. It has been 8 consecutive days of 30 min exercise. That is a behavior I hope I can continue. I actually feel good, but still don't look forward to work out time.
