What is in that?

From wikipedia:

Poutine ( /puːˈtiːn/; Quebec French pronunciation [put͡sɪn] ( listen)) is a Canadian dish of French fries and fresh cheese curds, covered with brown gravy or sauce. Sometimes additional ingredients are added.[1]

That Disney Lennox and Jim Shore stuff ain't cheap! We've got a few of the Jim Shore collectibles for our girls. All given to them as gifts from my MIL. She's really into that stuff.

We found a couple that sells lennox at flea markets, etc, so we buy at a discount. But it's still pricey. IF i can find a place to post the picture, i'll put up the one with the cabinet full. It was quite a shock when she realized just how much of it she had.

Otherwise know as a cardiac arrest:lmao:

Well...heck...31 things huh...I see that as 31 opportunities for me to screw up and write something that she will take the wrong way. :lmao:

+1. :rolleyes1

You could go for 28 since it is a short month and ignore the leap day. I'm just taking the Mrs. out for lunch tomorrow to the new Asian Buffet in town.

A heart attack!

I am impressed.
You know your Canadian culture :thumbsup2

I have snuck into the country on a couple of occasions :lmao:

It's not a bad beer. Our visit to said Beer Store was pretty cool. I really liked ordering a case and having it pushe on the rollers to the front already nice and cold :thumbsup2

In your oic posting did you throw in John Candy, Wayne Gretzky, and Dan Akroyd? I was getting alot of red x's so I wasn't sure.

Thanks, Andy. The sad part of the trip is that Mike "Wherem I Now" is in the Lynchburg area and because we had to spend so much time on the road I didn't have time to try and meet up. :guilty:

Glad to hear that you arrived back at home safe. :thumbsup2 Family should always come first!

We'll get a meet up someday. I'm trying to work SWMBO up for a trip to WDW next January. I hear that there may be a few other dads there as well... :cool2:

Hey brother...we all been there...:thumbsup2
Thanks

I'm back at work after being out sick all last week.

I've dug into the pile of work that was awaiting me. I'm just hoping that I didn't cause an avalanche!

Seriously though, I'm really feeling it after being out a week. I'm still pretty weak/tired, and I've got 4 1/2 hours to go.
the virious i caught this year took over 3 trips to the doc and over 6 weeks to get out of the system
hope you feel better soon

Starting a long week of night shifts, at least there is a long weekend as a reward. :woohoo: Looks like I'm going to be spending the night counting inventory and pushing people to do their jobs. What fun. Later guys.
I do this everynight it is alot of fun ordering p/t around

I have to hit Hallmark on the way home.

On a side note, I'm watching these Doomsday Preppers.

Man, and people think *I'm* paranoid....but I will say this though, you want these guys on your side during the Zombie Apocalypse.:thumbsup2:lmao:

...and one dude shot his thumb off during filming...BRILLIANT!:lmao::lmao:

That's showing weapons competency for you:confused3;):lmao:
some people should not have guns lol i guess i should not go in the woods !!

Just had this conversation at dinner last night:

Me: What would you like for Valentine's Day, honey
DW: Nothing.
Me: Great! 'Cause that's just what I got you!

I thought DS11 was going to have milk come out of his nose he laughed so hard.
Now this is priceless:thumbsup2

Yes, Yes, and Yes.

John Candy was - Without Canada Chris Farley's death wouldn't be cool.

Wayne Gretzky was - Without Canada the USA would hold a lot more NHL records

And Dan Aykroyd was - Without Canada Chicago wouldn't be cool (Blue's Brothers reference) and Where would you eat at DTD (House of Blues - Owned by Dan Aykroyd)

as for that unwanted day tommorow it is for the kids me and dw do not get each other anything for a non holiday lol maybe if we had money we would go out for dinner

That is an Idea the cost of card - vs- dinner out
with the way card prices are i would skip card and eat out myself.

Evening all. I'm stuck on the road yet again for another Valentine's Day. But, I did drop off a dozen roses for DW at work before I left today. Then, I arrive at my destination. People are idiots. The hotel must have removed all their insulation or my neighbor has returned to two tin cans and a string for her phone calls. :confused3

If a goober like me :rotfl2:

Nemesis, you make it to easy.

We kind of have the agreement that we won't do anything for Valentines Day, which would be great if I felt like I could actually do nothing and get by with it. I at least pick up some flowers and a card, but we don't do anything big and flashy or expensive. Tomorrow night we will be at a HS basketball game, so we might go out to eat tonight.

According to news, the average person spends $126 on their significant other. But, that was based on total sales and they did not specify what population that was divided into.

Everyone has their price. :rotfl2:

Absolutely. Dave is really cheap. :lmao:

I'm glad I found this group. Reading this thread has been a nice break in between study sessions on muscle origins/insertions and nerve innervation. :thumbsup2
