Woke up to a balmy 22 degrees this morning...brrrr. Just did some running around preparing for my DD's 3rd bday this afternoon. We wised up this year and are having it at the Little Gym (kid's gym place) rather than the house. Nothing like just picking up and leaving and not having a mess to clean.

We've done that for a while. The summer parties are a bit easier, but we've done a gymnastics, bowling, knock off chuck e cheese, ice skating, and science museum in January.

It looks like she is smiling in this one, but has to be - made of bacon.

Hey Guys...

My Dad is on his way home from the hospital now....:cool1:

So, I went to go to my DVR to catch up on my TV and I selected my "Person of Interest" CBS recording and the darn thing wouldn't play!!!

Everything else recorded plays fine.

So I go to CBS's website to watch it online and, of course, it's not available!!!!

What the Beverly?!?!

You would think they would want you to watch their programming?! Evidently, they'll allow you to watch it, but only after it's a week old!

But, I think I found it on another site. But, it's taking forever to download it....dumb Canadian internet servers! :rotfl2:

Glad to hear about your dad. I like that show as well. I figured Jim Caviezel would not be able to recover from the Passion movie, but it is a really good show. As for Canada, they give us nothing but trouble.

Watching POTC 3. After Tim's post, just had to go back and watch 3 again. The battle between the Pearl and Dutchman at the end is terrific. In the DVD, as I don't remember it in the movie theater, right before the boat falls over the edge of the waterfall and before we see Jack in Davy Jones' locker, the screen goes dark and I could hear sounds from the POTC ride at WDW - the music throughout and the "dead men tell no tales" at the beginning of the ride.

I really hoping in 4, when the Queen Anne's Revenge shoots out fire and kills the guy in the row boat, that the Dutchman with Captain Turner would have surfaced from the ocean. But, I guess different directors bring different visions to the movie.

Glad to hear about your dad :thumbsup2

We love Person of Interest. I met Jim back in the early 2000's. Very nice, very humble guy. Took the time to speak with everyone.

Don't you forget it.

We saw PoTC 3 in a rinky-dink theater way up north, we were the only ones there, and marked out to that scene. Great nod to the ride..
