During the puke incidents, you gotta do whatever it takes to get you thru. No apologies needed - we've all been there. We tried the pedialyte when the dds were sick. Needless to say, we have some strategically placed furniture to cover up some of the stains. I tell DW that we are not replacing the carpet until the cat is gone.

I was moved to the living room by my DW. I came down the hall for moral support during the incidents. Somehow I was able to clean up the disaster without one dry heave. I don't do puke. I must be getting old- it didn't phase me like it used to.

Since I posted this, Juliana has puked 2 times. The first time she puked all over her bed, pillows, 3 Cinderella dolls, a bedspread, the wall, and the floor. We stuck her in our room on the floor under some blankets. I have all her bedding in the wash. Thank goodness we had a mattress protector. It's gonna be a long night.

Well, I'm getting set to go to a neighborhood crimewatch organizational meeting. Apparently crime is up in this neighborhood--which I absolutely believe based on the idiot who broke into my boat, and my own general observation of the way things have gone the last 10 years.

Might be time to start looking for a new place--except that as soon as I would move into a new house, the government would move me.

I'm not leading the meeting, participating as a resident. Personally, anyone breaking in my house, especially if I'm home is a horrible horrible mistake.

Oh, and I have a warrant on the person who skimmed my card

A few years ago my friend had the {snip}. The next day, since he was off from work, thought coming with me for a boat ride would be a good idea. He stopped in the bathroom at the marina while I was getting the boat ready. He came to the boat and said his 'friends' were swollen and black as night. I pulled out of the slip and started through the no wake zone. I was a few hundred yards from the marina and he got sick and puked over the rail. He then asked politely to be brought back. He wasn't making this trip.

My co-worker's story was simpler. The anaesthetic didn't quite do its job during the procedure.
