Morning guys, it's Saturday! Mind you, I still gotta work :rotfl2: Throat is not feeling right this morning, I knew this was all too good to be true. Other then headaches last week I've been avoiding anything bad knock on wood

I avoided that subject altogether since my DW took care of the business after our DD was born.

Same here after Audrey...
she didn't think I wanted to go through with it :thumbsup2

Sitting at home with a sick DS. He was up at 3am throwing up. He finally decided to take a nap - but now we have to go pick up DD from school in 30 minutes. :sad2: I did get the Christmas lights off the house, so that's something I guess.

Ugh! That is always my job. Hope he feels better soon!

Post time 9:54pm...

Since I posted this, Juliana has puked 2 times. The first time she puked all over her bed, pillows, 3 Cinderella dolls, a bedspread, the wall, and the floor. We stuck her in our room on the floor under some blankets. I have all her bedding in the wash. Thank goodness we had a mattress protector. It's gonna be a long night.

Whoa! Kids are droppping like flies! Hope she feels better soon too! I feel so bad for sick kids..

Good luck Tim. We went throough something similar about 2 weeks ago. DD wouldn't eat all day and had a slight fever. She puked a couple times right around bedtime but by the time she woke up in the morning she was feeleing much better. No one else in the house got it. I hope your daughter feels much better this morning.:thumbsup2
Thanks Christian... I'm feeding the baby too. Juliana & Melody are still sleeping. I hpoe she feels better when she wakes up.

Do you get a discount on AP if you're a DVC owner?
::yes:: I think it is around $100 off. :teacher:

It is horrible. I'm hoping the baby doesn't catch it. :headache:

Morning guys! Cold, but nice Saturday here. Might go for a run in a bit. Now though? Coffee. Just coffee. :thumbsup2

Do you get a discount on AP if you're a DVC owner?

Yes sir! It's about $100 cheaper for DVC owners. I think it was $410 before taxes this year.

And once you have the AP, you can use it for all the places that only give AP (and not DVC) discounts. :thumbsup2

Okay, gotta go make the weekend tolorrable for others through booze! Later

Another change in the weather (rain) and I am sounding more like Darth Vader each day. I won't get to yell too much ay basketball today. I see we have our usual off topics and some actual Disney comments to reply to this AM.

Good Morning Men!

Coffee is good. Wife is in the kitchen cooking Bacon.

Ahhh, Life is Good!

Morning. I can't smell any bacon.

Do you get a discount on AP if you're a DVC owner?

We've never done an AP, but yes, there is a good discount.

Thanks... I'm on my 4th load of laundry and puke #4 just happened. I have been quarantined by Melody- I am not allowed to get sick. I have to take care of Christopher.

Thanks for stopping by the DIS and keep us posted on puke updates. I do hope they feel better and no one else gets sick.

Good morning guys and happy Saturday :cool1:

Morning Dave.

The only real reason I like EMH is for the MK Sunday nights. There's something awesome about that park at night, and the ability to get on all the rides quickly is an added bonus. We'll usually spend the day at Epcot and hop to MK for the night. The others have never been a big draw for us.

I like the MNSSHP as well for the same reason. EMH evening hours is what we'll hit unless we have a breakfast ADR the next day.

Fantasmic! is playing every night now.

I also tried that strategy once and got burned.

They scheduled 2 F!'s at 8:00 and 9:30

We figured we would beat the lines while everyone goes to the first show, and we would do the second show.

Worked out ok, until we got to the second show and it was cancelled. D'oh!!!

DW's favorite is Fantasmic. I like Wishes or Hallo-Wishes show the best. Before the started doing it every night, we had to plan trip around DHS fantasmic night. We have not had one cancelled (PTL), but we usually do the first show. We don't wait in line, we just walk in towards the last and grab a high up seat. We get a jump when the show ends and get out before the exodus.

MK rope drop is one of my favorite parts of our trips. Aside from the show and walk on lines that early, being one of the first down main street is awesome. :thumbsup2

I hope it worked out, crowd control has to be better then the mob going to TSM once the rope drops:confused3

If you go to a rope drop at AK, the entrance in the Rain Forest Cafe is a quick in:thumbsup2

MK has the best RD show, but now, we like the 8:00 AM ADR breakfast. Yes, it is really difficult to get up that early on vacation. But, we don't do parks everyday. So, we'll have a non-park day at the resort and go all day the next one at the park. With the early breakfast, you get to walk down an empty main street and AK is fun walking thru as well. It's nice to be in a empty Epcot, but I like walking through the others more. Then, when you're done with breakfast, you are ahead of the mob. My favorite is in AK. When you get out of Tusker House, you're right there by the Safari ride. We watched the herd walk around the bin as they RD and we walked on first to Safari ride, exited, and walked right back on again.

Absolutely, The AP is they way to go, it costs just a little more up front but if you are going more than once it pays for itself quickly.

:rotfl:That is my first impulse but now that I have kids DW would kill me if I didn't help out. :scared1: So I kind of got over it.

The thing here, well for my dds, is to have the mismatched socks. And, while they did not wear high socks, in order to show off the mismatched pair, you have to buy them longer.
