SLOW DOWN!!!

I answer a couple of phone calls and I'm 3 pages back... and we're not even closing a thread. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

On a totally unrelated note...

Just heard a blast from the past....

Eddie Murphy - "Part all the time"

Just reminded me that Eddie needs to stick to his stand-up gig.

Big letdown at our house this weekend. Ever since my kids were born I was looking forward to the day when we would sit down and watch Empire Strikes Back together. I finally decided that this would be a good weekend for that. They were enthralled the whole way through- asking intelligent questions along the way, ooohing and ahhhing at all the appropriate scenes. And then it was time for the big reveal.. I couldn't wait to see their faces when <SPOILER ALERT> we find out that Vader is Luke's dad. This was the greatest movie moment of my childhood and I was finally going to share it with my kids!! Went right over their heads... Totally missed it. I even rewinded it for them. Nothing. I asked the 5 yr old if he learned the "big secret" at the end of the movie. He throws his hands up in the air and says, "Dad, I don't even know what that movie was about!" I was a little ticked. I wanted to send them to bed without dinner. I'll try again in a few months.

Where are Fed and Aaron? I need the opinion of a law enforcment officer and a lawyer. I have a co-worker playing late 90's boy bands and Mariah Carey at her computer. I'm thinking either spilling water on her phone or hitting it with a hammer might be acceptable here, but I just want to make sure. :confused3 :lmao:

Awww... you remembered..
Little blood on the saddle but nothin' I can't handle. Actually, I need to get back on the percoset- today's been a little rough being back at the office and trying to "walk natural".

your my favorite delaweenie. :thumbsup2

Agreed, the Captain is delaweenie #1! :thumbsup2

I'm not in law enforcement, but put me on the jury and I got your back!

Is it just me, or when you click "Submit Reply" and your browser hangs for just a second or two, you think "Crud. Back to the slow DIS again"?:confused3

Be scared.

Don't get hooked! I owe Barry two of my kids now.

But, did he say your kids? My oldest is looking for a new home since she has to make her bed.

Noted.

And ignored.

:lmao::rotfl::lmao:

I slept with the bosses daughter.

She was my first girlfriend.

She is now my wife.

I still sleep with her.

Then, I guess that is a good thing?

Actually, it wasn't your fault Randall - though you were part of the peer pressure of which Norm succumbed to himself, while then trying to blame me for his own post padding. Tisk tisk. ;) I can't say that I had anything to do with it. You on the other hand, were the one he was trying to catch and surpass in post count, which is why I mentioned you. Not to throw you under the bus, but to absolve myself from his blame game. So I apologize good sir for throwing you under the bus. :drive:

Just as I am capable, by my own merits, of adequately, and successfully padding multiple threads with single line comments or photos! :lmao:

That was an exceptional use of multiquotes.

Actually it was Randall who made you do it. Don't drag me in to your blame game. :rotfl:

Randall on the stats. You on the posts.

I plan on making the Fantasy Football Entry fee thing again next fall...that helped raise the numbers...though we didn't get 100% participation that I had hoped for...we did get over 50%. :thumbsup2

Thought about doing a money league? Nothing too difficult - no money for transactions - a winner take all or 1st, 2 nd, 3rd. Nothing to pricey though, maybe double the individual GTTW donation?

Yes, we have 679 members, but…

Only 172 have ever posted more then 10 comments.

At 50 or more total posts over the life of the club the active membership drops to 94 and only 67 folks have posted 100 or more times since our origin in 2007. That last one is really a better gage of our active membership.

You could say that. :rotfl2:

Here are a couple more stats along that line:

45 with 300 posts or more

32 over 500

22 at 1000 or better :wave2:

Only 9 are over 2000

And just 3 at better then 2800 :rolleyes1

I'm trying to hit the 2800 club.

And I suppose if he asked you to pull his finger you'd do it, wouldn't you? :lmao::lmao:

Absolutely.

Last week my boss sent an email to everyone in my group asking that we take a few minutes and send her a list of our strengths and weaknesses in relation to the programs/hardware we use. We all have individual meetings with her set up this week to go over out lists. I have no idea what she's getting at with this. Has anyone else gone through anything like this?

We do it at the end of year for our meaningless evaluations. Maybe it means more in your sector.

Is the percoset for dealing with the surgery or for dealing with work?

glad your doing well. remember, i had nightmares thinking of that.

Chewy...gamey
I would think "small" would be the worst.

Hammer. The bigger the better.

That was an exceptional use of multiquotes.

Why thank you.

I do play nice and make use of them... from time to time.

And oh yeah - you said yourself that Dave & I are untouchable... so I will continue to remove myself from blame. :sad2: It's Randall's fault. Not mine. :rotfl:
