Well, really, I'd need a hi-def tv, this one os likely 10 years old, no issues, so it'll stay this way till that changes

I hear ya. I waited a while for my HDTV... now I don;t know how I ever lived without it. :goodvibes

Have a great evenin' I'm hitting the hay! :cloud9:

Problem with the night shift is no one is around when you get home from work :rotfl2:

Home from Upwards Basketball. The church league, so anti-Christian, every year stacks one team with the local best players. We played that team earlier in the season and lost by 4. Today, we won by by 10 points. I put in a play at practice, and we ran it all day. Plus, the girls just played lock down defense. I rotated my oldest dd back and she shut down their fast break. She also had to check their best player the whole game, and she only scored 1 basket against my daughter. A proud coach and dad today.

Way to go coach :thumbsup2. You probably remembered how IU shut down your Wildcats and were inspired :lmao:

As for the lottery, someone in RI hit it according to th website. Is there a limit to how many can join? I may be interested. If I remember correctly Indiana has had quite a few powerball winners :thumbsup2. None of them were this guy :headache:

Yeah, the name went with the company. Even some of the old distillaries are now owned by companies and people who know nothing about alcohol. Makes you wonder about quality control. Now, that would be a great job - quality control.

Well, I have 15% battery life so time for bed. Later Brian.

I remember an old episode of Cheers where Norm was hired to be a taster at a brewery. It was hilarious.

:happytv:

has anyone watched The Walking Dead? I watched season 1 last night and this afternoon and the first episode of season 2 earlier tonight. It is a pretty good show.

I got DW hooked on it and we watched the entire first season over one weekend. just watched season 2 up to the mid-season finale last night.

I'm surprised Fed didn't hop on as soon as someone mentioned it, usually he starts dancing in circles like dog waiting for a piece of cheese when someone mentions zombies.

I'm trying to get the other season 2 episodes in today before the new one tonight. It may be tough as ds has 2 basketball games today and I'm sure there is a honeydew list around here somewhere.

I don't remember that one, but maybe the coffee hasn't kicked in yet. I do remember the Family Guy episode where Peter goes to work there.

I just finished watching Pirates of the Care-ah-bean... On Stranger Tides. Man, I love Bluray. I thought it was pretty good... I need to watch the first one on Bluray.

I liked the 3rd better than 4th because it had more pirate ship scenes. And, that last battle in 3 between the Pearl & Dutchman was great.

THat game was proof that IN has lots of luck. If IN even makes a tournament run, I'll bet KY in a rematch.

Stopher, Norm; I'm talking to you.

Good series of post padding. How did you get him to make all those quotes?

It is frickin 18 degrees here. Maybe we can pass the hat for a Fed sniper trip next year for that groundhog. 6 more weeks of this Beverly? I still have 10 or 12 more years here in my current plan before I can move to FL.

Good morning guys.

Been a busy weekend here so far - not much time on the board. Getting ready for church, and then off to celebrate DS' birthday a couple of days early at Dave & Buster's. DW took him the other day to get his permit, and so the driving fun officially begins. Now my hair which was already going grey will definitely speed up the process! :rotfl:

Have a great day guys.

At least you are in the teens. Good morning guys!

Landed last night in Atlanta from Roatan. The temp was 32 degrees. Talk about a shock. Go from 85 to this crud. Didn't even bring a jacket so today it will be under the covers in a warm bed watching TV.

Roatan was pretty cool. The diving was good. Not sure how many decent pics I shot but will post a few when I get back to Miami. And out of this cold. Could not live up North again.

I think I saw that Netflix has the first season.

Norm, I completely agree regarding IU. It is cold here as well, I had to scrape my windows as I was leaving Mass.
