Mmm...well, I will be eating wedding cake while I'm down there. I guess a piece or two of birthday cake wouldn't hurt...:thumbsup2

Congrats on 3000! And on picking Manning. :rotfl2:

See??? :confused3 This what I love about this place.

Congrats on getting to 3000! You'd be well past this mark by now if you'd get to work on your TR.:rolleyes1

Have fun. My DW's boss is taking his employees and their spouses on Thursday. It should be interesting. I know a lot of people who went this weekend though and said the lines were ridiculous. DW had a friend who told her they waited an hour and a half to kick a football.:scared1: I think they need to put in Fast Pass machines. :lmao:

You are right, but its hard to see my keyboard with all of the crying I did this year regarding the Colts, my fantasy team, and IU losing to Minnesota and Nebraska :headache:

There WILL be an UPDATE THIS WEEK!!!!

Congrats on the Super page ownage. I'm not trying to catch you. That lead is insurmountable at this point. Ever since the thread stats were posted, I just wanted to ensure another vs. win against by nemesis as well as moving past him on the number of overall posts. You and Dave are still way ahead at the top of that list.

:)

If you can, have breakfast at Riverbelle Terrace, one of my favorites even before I worked there (2 weeks while the location I was at was being rehabbed).

Food choices are slim in the two parks, but I will admit bias as I was food service there. The La Brea Bakery in DTD has some nice offerings, and across Harbor Blvd is a restaurant called Mimi's Cafe that we try to eat at at least once.

Mimi's Cafe is awesome! The closest one we have to me at home is Cincinnati - but the check gets a bit expensive just for breakfast when adding in all that gas and time to get there. ;)

Congrats on 3000!

What he said David, what he said.

Good job my friend... but...

Congrats on getting to 3000! You'd be well past this mark by now if you'd get to work on your TR.:rolleyes1

...what he said too. :rotfl:

Valid only at participating Subways in South Carolina, Charlotte, Ashville, Augusta & Surrounding Areas. :headache::headache:

My free breakfast just got a lot more expensive when I figure in travel costs.

:rotfl: too true, too true

Someone else posted last week about Daddy Daughter Date night at Chick fil A - but it was only in that same general area. You guys have all the fun.

We have the date nights at our CFA's in the Indy area as well. Usually in September or October. They're neat. A great inexpensive way to hang with your baby girl and make her feel special. Ours has a "photo spot", and brings out a limo and they'll take you & about 5 other dads and daughters out for a 5-10 minute ride. They make special balloons, and turn have the restaurant into "table service" with them coming taking your order and all.

That sound like fun. The annual "Daddy/Daughter" dance at DD's school is next week. It gives her an excuse to put on a fancy dress (like she really needs an excuse) and me an excuse to wear a Mickey Mouse tie. No limo rides, but we will go out to eat before hand. Last year she chose McDonalds. I'm going to see if I can convince her to pick something a little different this year.

That was me. Sorry about spamming the 90% of you that aren't in the Carolinas or Georgia with Chick-fil-a spam.

I like the new Avatar. It seems kind of summerish with all the blue in the backround.

:)

We ate there during our DL trip. We stayed at the HoJo for 2 nights after the Grand Californian and it was right on our way to the parks. They had a pretty good lunch menu. Prices seemed to be comparable to what we were paying for CS lunch in the parks but it came with better fare. The bread and muffins they bring you out to start with were delicious.

I wonder if ours will have the limo. That sounds really fun.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 30, 2012) - It’s a slam dunk! The Cats beat the Gators 1,854 to 1,826 in the fourth annual Big Blue Slam blood drive which was held throughout the week of Jan. 23-27.

“It’s great to know we can count on the Big Blue Nation to not only beat Florida but save lives, too," said Martha Osborne, executive director of Marketing & Recruitment for Kentucky Blood Center (KBC). "The blood donated last week will touch the lives of thousands of Kentuckians. Thanks to everyone who participated.”

Big Blue Slam is a friendly blood collection competition between Kentucky and Florida fans and KBC and LifeSouth Community Blood Center in Gainesville. The Wildcats take on Florida in Rupp Arena Feb. 7 and again in Gainesville March 4.

Kentucky now leads the rivalry 3 to 1.

I get to go to my first daddy/daughter dance as a guest not as the DJ on Feb 11th. I can't wait to tear up the dance floor with Juliana. The good thing is she is too young for me to embarrass her yet! :thumbsup2

Sorry to hear about her accident. Glad she is fine.

So after being up with Christopher at 4:45am till 5:45am then back up with him at 6:15am, I decided today would be a great day to go get an oil change since Melody was going into work late. I pull up to the garage of the quick change and I lean over to unlock the passenger door since they give you a full service carwash after- vacuum, windows, etc... Anyways, I lean over to unlock the door when I look up my van is rolling forward towards the door. I tried to hit the break but my foot skimmed the accelerator first and I bashed into the door. The mechanic was standing at the door opening it and the door hit into him. He was ok and just received a bruise on his shin. The cops came and took a report and now I'm waiting to hear the estimate of the cost to fix the door. I have no idea why I didn't put my truck in park. Maybe I was just exhausted. Maybe I'm just an idiot. I hope the rest of my day gets better.

Nice! Try not to criticize the DJ too much. I'm sure he'll be trying his best.
