The "if you don't want to go every single year" phrase that you used... I can read the words, but cannot comprehend the meaning...

I had a hard time typing it... but honestly, I've seen it in print (well, on the screen), here on the DVC boards time and time again. Sad but true. People buy in stating they only intend to use it every 3 years. Unfathomable in my mind... but hey, whatever floats your boat.

Hey there - for all the DVC Dads - if you weren't aware, the new online booking system went live today. I've spent some time on there tonight mapping out some possible trips. It's pretty cool. Go check it out, via the member site. I like it so far...

So I'll be in Orlando at the Marriott across from DTD in two weeks and I'm trying to work in an extended stay over Super Bowl weekend. Conference ends on Friday the 3rd and I'm due to fly out that night, but I'm thinking of staying that night and doing a whole day at HS and leaving that evening or staying an extra night that Saturday and leave early in the morning (Super Bowl Sunday). This will just be me on the trip.

Anyone have thoughts as to what you would do, without the family and just yourself in the World...what would you do...where would you go???

Of course my company wouldn't pay for the extra nights so I would just book those on my own too, anyone every had any luck with stays in Orlando using Hotwire?

The Pirate Princess's 18th Birthday was today. Went to Samurai for dinner and had ice cream cake at home. A couple of pics.

Well, it's a good thing I didn't get much done on my three lectures for my workshop. The format's been changed again. Now, instead of three 1+ hour lectures, I just have to prepare one 30 minute one.

Also, 3 hours until I start my 5-day weekend.
