I stopped in American Jewlry and Loan, from Tru-tv's hardcore pawn. It was Tuesday afternoon and the place was packed. There was almost as many people in there as in the local Target. The people on the show were just standing around taking pictures with people and selling autographed t-shirts. I don't think they do much work there anymore. I was amazed watching the people line up to get there picture taken with pawn brokers. Disney characters I understand, but pawn brokers?![]()
I hadn't thought about that. With celebrity chefs that are on tv pretty much anyone can get in and buy something to eat. Their fame can pretty easily be turned for financial gain. I think the family on "little people big world" has done that too with their pumpkin farm. It seeme like it'd be more difficult for the pawn stars to use their new fame for financial gain beyond selling t-shirts.
