Since there are a few VA Dads here, figured I'll throw this out there, June 20th, I'll be in King Dominion, June 21 & 22we will be at Busch Gardens & Water Country USA, we are leaving on the 23rd, but will be going to the Farmer's Market in Williamsburg before we go:thumbsup2

Maybe a possible DDC meet:confused3, I know that Don lives close to BG, but will probably be golfing on the moon that week:rotfl2:

I'll be in DC that weekend camping with the scouts. Still a little to far to get together.

Evening gents. Checking in after a long couple of days. Big project at work and we have been dealing with issues in the process for about three weeks. Today was D-Day and thankfully we got it figured out! I am now readt=y for a good nights sleep. :thumbsup2

Think about it

95 degrees with 100% Humidity
Mosquitos that drink a quart of blood with one bite
Roaches as big as small dogs
Overweight tourists wearing speedos
Marlins and Dolphins are worse than bad
Child that is going to cost a small fortune for the next 4 years
Will give you the diving part and 4 hours from Disney

Obviously you've never been to KY.
Any degree with 100% humidity.
Ohio Valley is worst place to live regarding allergens
Mosquitos and ticks that carry Lyme disease
I'll give you roaches
Overweight locals wearing their underwear to walmart
At least you have pro teams that play GOOD teams and Heat must be paying ABC because they are touching them up
2 children costing a fortune. And, you could have stopped that.

So, the only thing from your argument is roaches.

Plantiff's final piece of evidence is how many Super Bowl winning QBs announce they a planning a visit to KY.

I want to be Big Al !!!Or the ultimate goofster Goofy

Good. Don't compete for that boat captain job.

Well, you've got the Goofy part right! :lmao:

It's on like donkey kong.

BIG AL BERTINO!!! i have a disney cd that they talk about big al bertino. i cant find a picture of him on the internet but if you would see this guy, no crap, he looks like the bear big al!!! heres a link to a little bit of history on big al.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Bertino

i know alot of the newbs want to see more roller coasters instead of big al but if you read the history of the country bears, it was the last attraction walt gave the nod to, the last day he was in the office before he died.
to cheer walt up in the hospital, mark davis would take the plans of country bear jamboree into the hospital. walt loved it.
im reading a book now about fess parker. i have talked to the author of the book here on this dis alot. fess was his childhood hero and has met fess serveral times and has written a book about him.
days before video games, face book, cell phones. when kids went outside and played cowboys and indians. today, kids think the great frontier is the mall. like the ride pirates of the car. , before the movies came out, how many kids today knew what i pirate was? (the movies were made to intro kids to pirates again.)
if you notice the line to pirates the ride has gotten longer again since the movies.
same way with cop. "rip it down", "move it to epcot". car of progress. progress, tomorrow, tomorrow land. see how that fits?
its a good thing walt was busy doing the pavilions for the new york worlds fair and didnt have a chance to build edison square. an entire land at wdw dedicated towards electric.

Think Catholics don't know how to party? Who do you think invented Mardi Gras?

:thumbsup2

Did you sign up for the Jamboree yet, Carl? Put our deposit in already! Let the fundraising begin!

Good night, David! Congratulations!

I went to a Catholic grammar school, high school, and college. Nope. No partying there. :sad2: :sad2:

Yeah, right! :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Morning, Brent!

That really would be frustrating! Good to hear her immune system is strengthening... and I'll be praying for Audrey! And the rest of the family, too.

Good news. Continued prayers.

Thanks, she's been doing great all year so far except for last month's asthma issues, only had a fever for one day while that happened. We imagine this is the end of the "surprises" her birth defects has brought.

Yellow Tail.
:scared1: The wine of the masses

Alg 2, Precalculus, Calculus and Physics at a small private school.

Homestretch now, last day of school will be May 25! :cool1:

:faint: To quote Barbie: "Math is hard!"

I would love to participate, but it would be difficult to get away in the middle of the week. Darn work! :headache:

Yikes. Our city/county coordinated their vacation dates, but it is either state or Federal requirements that makes us complete all those snow days. Last year, we went to June. It stunk.

Our school system actually builds in snow days so that they don't have to make them up as long as there are less than five. This year, we didn't use enough, so to make sure that they can continue to add the built in snow days each year, they called a "snow day" for this past Monday. It wasn't perfect weather, but in the 60s. Worked out for us though since it gave the DDs an extra day to get caught up after our trip.

Home early tonight!

So what's everyone up to today? I'm going to get the heck out of the office today and go make some sales calls. :yay: First time out since DD (3 weeks) was born.

Belated "Congrats!" on the arrival of DD!! (and a more current congrats for getting out!)

I work from home...I roll out of bed just in time to get in the office...only problem working from home, I'm always at work!

you are trying to make it sound like a bad thing... i'm not buying it! :rotfl2:

I have to honestly admit that I once loved what I did for a living, but that’s just not quite true any more. Given my obligations, chucking it just ain’t an option and besides, those things I do enjoy doing, just don’t pay well (or consistently).

I used to have a satisfying career. Now I just have a job.

Morning everyone. Glad to check in on my first full day of being a ddc member :)

:thumbsup2

Hi. Have I missed anything important over the past 3 or 4 days? :rotfl2:

no idea.

What is your Disney dream job? I want to be the boat captain for Poly, GF, MK route.

Ride Tester? or maybe Mickey Bar or Dole Whip Quality Control

Hi.

Well, have you ever noticed that they sleep just fine at the hospital, but once you're home they will only sleep when you hold them and only for about 15 to 45 minutes at a time? :confused3 :headache:

Oh, I missed it... CONGRATULATIONS!!

Sitting here at work, pulling double duty because a co-worker is out on vacation. Listening to the Adventureland background music to pass the time. Then it hits me - I'm doing his work while he's actually in Disney World, enjoying the vacation that I helped him plan. :furious:

just think of it as banking Disney Karma Points for your next trip!

Mmmm love strawberries!!!:goodvibes

keep them coming... DS has discovered strawberries and wants them all the time!

Good news with DS! His fever broke last night and finally came down today.

Time to hit the sack. On my list of things to attempt tomorrow is calling our TA to give her the numbers to 22 gift cards to apply to our cruise payment. She's going to love me! (and that's just a partial payment) :rotfl2::lmao:

I wont post any more here now. Cause according to some it is not within the proper posting timeline :rotfl2:. I will wait until morning to post again

oh wait it is morning..... Good Morning Gentlemen
