Name is Lee, and as you can tell from the sn I'm in Virginia. I have been teaching at a small private school for the past 13 years after spending some time working in HR for a wholesale distributor. Married for 19 years this coming October (we honeymooned at Grand Floridian). DS is a freshman in hs, 15, plays basketball. DD is in 5th grade, 11, and pretty much gets me to do whatever she wants. My wife is an assistant principal for a large public K-8 school.

Love the excitement of taking the family to WDW and get choked up a little bit every first time we drive onto the property for our trips. I love spending time in the various books and on the various websites to get new insights into making our next trip even better than the last.

No skin off my nose (or my back ) I didn't want it in the first place but gave in to the wife and kids. I am happy enough to not even go through the "told you so" phase No other pet either, DW feels like not a good idea after all.

Makes it easier to plan next year's Orlando trip now anyways

Good Morning!!

been very hard to get on the boards lately. I wouldn't be on right now if it wasn't for the fact that DS is under the weather. He's had a pretty consistent fever since friday. Saw the doc yesterday and she wanted to give it another 24 hours. So, nearly 20 hours later the temp hasn't gone done. It spiked a little bit higher last night, and was back at its usual level this morning. No other symptoms at all to speak of. Hoping it might just be a weird teething thing and not anything more serious. Poor little guy is down for a nap.

Hope he feels better soon! Audrey would go through spells like this, days on end of fevers. Usually ended up being an infection somewhere. It always freaked us out, but always worked out fine

Boy been a while since I have checked in here. Didn't even know the last thread was shut down. Prayers to those who need them. Congrats to those deserving and welcome to those who are new.

What did I miss? Anything good?

DS 6 will have his tonsils out on 11th. Mothers day present for the wife LOL.
Doctor said he has double bubble tonsils and that is a good possibility as to why he holds on to colds and gets sick so often. I hope it helps.

Hey guys... managed to sneak in a last minute DIS Dad meet this afternoon! Matt (10dedfish) and I decided to finally take action and grab lunch at the local Ruby Tuesday for some burgers. Great minds think alike... we both own Subarus! (who knew)

Made a few non-Disney reservations today! First... bought tickets for dinner and reserved seating to see Third Day at Busch Gardens on June 24th. What's cool about this particular concert with Third Day is that they are having local bands submit videos to see who will play with them. Pretty sweet deal for those who make it.

Secondly, finally hit submit on reservations for Cedar Point on 7/2. Will be at Breakers Express for a one night stay... but bought the 2 day ride and slide package. My DD is going to go bonkers when she find out we get to go to a water park one day then the amusement park the next day. Going to be a cool visit. Hope you got some time off to come see us, Scott!

They are also still paying me more than the originally quoted rate, so there's also the possibility they may realize that now, even though I brought it to there attention back in February.

Lastly, I've discovered the beauty of listening to LIVE365 in the car. My car has bluetooth for the phone, and it turns out I can stream anything I play on my phone through the car stereo... pandora, youtube, and Live365!! I don't feel so bad about not signing up for the satellite radio anymore!!

People always question my hours, but I find that the more I am out of the office the better things are. As for the radio, parts of my county still don't have high speed Internet. Livin vicariously thru NY technology.

Prayers for your son. Both my dds had their tonsils out for that reason. They also slept much better. As for hat what you missed, just our usual brilliance.
