I learned my lesson with the second one, though. :scared1:

I see all the pictures on here and elsewhere of the new DisDads' babies and get the feeling that I... never want to change a diaper at 3am again. But, congratulations, guys. Well done.

You hope? Or, are you sure! Any dads had that operation?

Multitask, FAIL. Funny story, SUCCESS. The Pirate Princess was the perfect newborn. Slept through the night, always happy and a joy to have around. Little did I know that even then she was plotting her revenge when she became a teenager.

Mine are from from it. So, am I paying for it now or is going to get worse?

That reminds me, I have to pack because I am leaving for WDW Friday.
.

I both admire and envy you at the same time.

I'll talk to the staff about keeping the wind calm that day. :thumbsup2

Good to see you DOT people actually do some work some days.

I'm dreading the teens years just because of stories like this. DD has been just as you describe Pirate Princess... Maybe I need to start stocking up on Tums now....
.

My plan is to ship my dds to you during the teen years.

Why Baby Boys Drool!

Got me all excited the for a minute.

This past January we went down with no adr's. Every afternoon we'd figure out where we were going to be and then use the mobile dining reservation page to figure out which places near us had availability when we wanted it. It worked pretty well. We didn't get in everywhere we hoped, but we didn't have a bad meal that trip either.

Agree. We have he success with walk ins, although easier with small party than large ones. But, if the absolute must dos, then we plan them ahead. Once we get thru all the Disney restaurants, we will know which ones for sure we want to make.

Oh, and one thing I discovered, that may or may not be news here, but still disappointing:
Not only are you not invulnerable in Pirates of the Caribbean: Master of the Seas while waiting in line at Pirates of the Caribbean: The Ride, but once you're inside, it's impossible to play, since there is no signal in that dungeon.

Speaking of, any other DISdads into this particular time-waster, and want to join crews?:smokin:

Morning Dads!

What will the week bring? Never really know. One of our friends lost her step-dad this weekend. Their gospel band had just finished playing and he was complaining of feeling a little sick and some chest pain. Went to go to the bathroom and never made it. 42.
Scary situation. Prayers for all involved.

You know, you and Andy could offer DisDads real "farm" experiences for years we don't have trips planned to the world :thumbsup2

I'd be up for the spreader, as long as I can pull it behind your turbo charged van :rotfl2:
I haven't gotten around to installing the correct PTO or hydraulics on the van yet, but I can offer some advice. When spreading manure, make sure you pay keen attention to the wind direction. And try not to yawn.

One of the tasks today was to get some pictures printed to hang on an empty wall. First I needed to go buy a memory stick because the mutt I did not want decided to use my old one as a chew toy.
You could forego the picture and mount a taxidermied mutt on the wall.:rotfl2:

Speaking of which, have you been running? Get your butt out there. Don't make me come up there to verbally taunt you in front of the kids. Not that you would think it but many of my friends would say I have been spreading manure for years.
Yes, but not as much as before the baby. I have set two new personal bests in 5k training leading up to this Saturday's CSSW Home Run & Walk for Foster Care 5k.

Wait a sec... are you serious? We need to be out at 2:30am race day?
Nah, that's just an old wive's tale. Feel free to hang out in England, pounding back Irish Car bombs until closing. :thumbsup2

Yeah, what terrible medical care in U.S. Your DW has baby and you don't get narcotics. What is wrong with this world.
No need for a special font here. Your sarcasm is read loud and clear. :lmao:

Yes, Barry, don't make CJ give up all those vacations to help train you. He is way too busy.
Au contraire, a trip to Wisconsin is a vacation into itself.

I imagine it would look something like this:
Polar-Bear-Plunge_01.jpg
What a wuss. Wearing booties. And he didn't even leave any ice shards floating the water. Who wants to dive into clear water when you can leave an inch or so of slush on top?

FIL and I headed to Club Cool on Monday while DW & DD were in line to see Characters. I filled up one cup with Beverly and thought, why not take up the challenge? I think that the most recent was Barry at six cups.

Then I drank that first cup and wondered why ANYONE would drink more than one on purpose!
Because we're men. And men do stupid things.

It is so ugly outside, I blew off doing the multiple errands that needed to be done today and decided to hunker down. Have to go to Publix for sustenance though. Not sure what dinner will be.
Again, you've got a mutt that you don't seem to care much for....

Asked the TA that books out of state trips for Wisconsin dive sites. She sent me this.

Looks like a spring shot.

Barry, just checked out the pre trip report and Tim updated his recent training. He is taking this seriously so you better get your butt out there. Considering the money I put down on you, my child's education is riding on your beating him.
I'll be over there in a little while. Don't worry, Crash won't have to transfer to Division III Delaware.

You hope? Or, are you sure! Any dads had that operation?...

Thought about it but that was as far as I got. The Mrs. ended up getting that 5-year IUD thing because it helped with medical issues. By the time it comes out, anything else will probably be unnecessary. :duck:

Not sure what crew you're talking about, but if it involves alcohol ... I did notice there was no signal there as well.

Disney is actually much better at controlling the weather than we are.

How much does that weather machine cost?

No need for a special font here. Your sarcasm is read loud and clear. :lmao:

Never been. Maybe one day. Other than a Packer's home game in Sept or October, or a Brewers game in the summer, what else besides ice and cheese is there? I need to time my visit and don't want it to be too cold.

My DW does the birth control pill for that medical stuff as well. She tried to explain it to me but I couldn't hear her with my fingers in my ears while I was yelling "lalalalalalala".

Well, it could involve alcohol, these are pirates after all. But, since I've never actually seen any in the game, it'd be on a strictly BYOB basis.

I'm dreading the teens years just because of stories like this. DD has been just as you describe Pirate Princess... Maybe I need to start stocking up on Tums now....

If you are like me, you need stronger stuff than Tums.

You hope? Or, are you sure! Any dads had that operation?

NO. Are you crazy? No one is going near that part of my body with a knife.

Mine are from from it. So, am I paying for it now or is going to get worse?

Yes and Yes.

I both admire and envy you at the same time.

Thank you sir.

CJ needs industrial equipment for that? :confused3 :lmao:

Nope. Been spreding manure most of my life. Mostly bull manure.

You could forego the picture and mount a taxidermied mutt on the wall.:rotfl2:

Good idea but the kid wouldn't like it. And the Bas**** has grown on me. It is in direct proportion to my shoulder feeling better.

Yes, but not as much as before the baby. I have set two new personal bests in 5k training leading up to this Saturday's CSSW Home Run & Walk for Foster Care 5k.

Need pictures for proof.

Nah, that's just an old wive's tale. Feel free to hang out in England, pounding back Irish Car bombs until closing. :thumbsup2

Tim, I will buy.

Au contraire, a trip to Wisconsin is a vacation into itself.

So I heard. Cow tipping and cow pie toss, what more can you ask for.

Again, you've got a mutt that you don't seem to care much for....

I prefer Kobe mutt to the American version.

I'll be over there in a little while. Don't worry, Crash won't have to transfer to Division III Delaware.

She may have to. Found out that there is a mandatory orientation at SH while we are in Hawaii. Have to get her out of it because I am not giving up that trip,

Evening all....Any prayers or congrats out to anyone who's needed them, missed a lot lately,

Alas, the great cat experiment has ended after two weeks. His tendancy to flip out and run around at night resulted in DW looking like she did a round with Freddy Kruger :scared1: He jumped up on her and got her back scratchd good. Too afraid the kids might be next, and it just didn't work out. He goes out tomorrow. No loss to me, I wasn;t keen on the idea in the first place, but DW and the girls are heartbroken. Place just too small and we are not home enough to handle another pet.

Once upon a Time

Who watches it?

If you do watch it, who do you think Emma Swan is?

Obviously we know she is Henry's birthmom, and Snow White's daughter. But does anyone think she is also a character in the Fantasy World? If so...Who?

We are hooked on that show...as you and I have discussed before LOL....I think she is going to be Repunzel....I like how Pinnochio was worked inot things last week!

Monday night ownage.

I've got quite a lot of Crown left. It travels well.

NO. Are you crazy? No one is going near that part of my body with a knife.
,

Same here. I've had two friends here go thru it. They survived. The urologist they used has children that i coached in soccer in seasons past. But, i don't want to be the 1 that he misses on.

Better be careful shaving as well. This is what one of my colleagues on the other site I am at did when he dropped his razor...

http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php/289594-Hospitalized-from-Straight-Razor!

I didn't want to even click on the link. Sounds frightening. Read it. Yikes. Glad it was only a finger.

For whatever reason, I somehow forgot today was my 11 month window to use my new BWV points. So, I went on the online system about an hour ago and booked BWV for Easter week 2013. It was the first time I used the new system and it was real easy, although the iPad overlaid a screen on screen which was a little difficult to see, but not overly detrimental. Now, I'm a little afraid of going to the parks that week because of the crowds, so we may change it later.

Hey Dads///I have a question....Allison the young girl from our old church wants to do a website for the church. I think it would be good for her and give her something to do to tinker with. She is having some issues with being bound to a wheelchair and needs something to make her feel relevant. I can't imagine what she is going through..

Anyway, Shari and I used to manage the site for the church and used the server homestead.com. However, when we changed churches we canceled the membership. What other services are out there or Allison to use that would have the tools to help her so that they do not have to purchase any software or at least at a resonable price.

DUDE! Don't even go there. Would not click that link if you had a gun to my head.

Steve, wish I could give advice but I am a tech idiot. If she needs help purchasing the software, I am sure we could take care of that for her. Let me know what we can do.

Wait a sec... are you serious? We need to be out at 2:30am race day?

And the nail in the coffin. Sure, I was considering going and abandoning the DW so I could drop $$ on entry fees for the privlidge of running 26 miles. But if I have to be up at 2:30? forget it. Makes me glad i didn't start training.

You hope? Or, are you sure! Any dads had that operation?

Just a quick note that yup, in the re-written words of one of my favorite Disney songs:
Snip-a-dee-do-dah, Snip-a-dee-a...
