I wasn't offered any narcoticsBarry, you are right about the nurses. When I had my little hospital visit, they were great. They cared about me and really helped me get better. Very dedicated people. And they dispensed some good narcotics.

Although after Bambi was discharged, they continue to provide free meals since she was a breast feeding mother. They let me eat her food when she wasn't there. So I guess I had that going for me, which was nice.
She knows how important you are to my training, so I'm sure she'll be fine with it.Did you check with Bambi before offering the couch? The Brit friend regularly tours farm country in the midwest. Planning on doing a tour with him next year. We may do a drive by. I would be up for some cow tipping.
And who knows, if you play your cards right I'll take you up to my brother's farm and let you run the manure spreader.

So true. One nurse said they did have a very high success rate - over 90% I believe. It make take weeks or months, but most babies do make it home.Wow, those are scary stories. I can't imagine working there and dealing with the inevitable heartbreak.

I think it was the 2nd night he was home and I was up with him I thought about taking up coffee drinking. I haven't yet, but I also haven't ruled it out...Sounds like my middle son, David. He basically didn't sleep for 6 months. That's what finally got me to start drinking coffee.![]()
