Just realized that my last post was our 2000th post for DDC XIV. And we are definitely slowing down. We only have 12 more days to close this thread out if we want to beat our record!

I think Elizabeth Hasselback is good looking to look at, but still couldn't watch that show very long, even on mute.

BBQ Ownage!!!!



It was April last year when the Connecticut Huskies were in the final four against the Kentucky Wildcats. Norm (AirGoofy) and I placed a small wager on the game. It was all UCONN in the first half and they held a 31-21 at the half. In the second half, Kentucky fought and took a three point lead. It was tight in the second half, with the score going back and forth. Kemba Walker scored 18pts, had 6 reb, 7 ast, 2 stl, & 1blk. Once again he put the team on his back and willed them to win.

Norm was devastated. His team might of been better than the eventual national champion Connecticut Huskies, but this wasn't the Wildcats night. There wasn't too much gloating by your beloved DISDad that's nice, but he was super excited that his team had went on to win their 3rd national championship since 1999.

The bet between AirGoofy & that's nice was forgot about by both parties till last month. AirGoofy contacted that's nice and wanted to follow through with the bet. that's nice was shocked that AirGoofy was contacting him now about this. Quite frankly, that's nice forgot all about the bet.

Last week, there was a package at the door. Upon opening, this is what I saw.

What was inside was some down home Kentucky BBQ.

Norm suggested that I place the meat on a roll with pickles. I couldn't wait to get to the store to buy rolls, so I toasted up some bread, added a little cheddar, and piled on the pickles.

The sandwich was great and I even let my wife have a taste.

I would like to thank, Norm (AirGoofy) for remembering and sending the BBQ. It was great and I'm going to open the mutton this weekend while I watch the Giants take on the Pack*.
