Been a great day here!!

The highlight of my day was that I was able to leave work early and take Miss Lauren on a lunch date! We just went ot Mcdonalds, but it was her choice!!! Loved every minute of it. I wish I had the opportunity to do that more often. When Ethan got hom from school we all got to take a nap!! Now, that is a great day!!

I assure you from working in a food distribution center in Connecticut that we do not like major storms of any kind. It disrupts service levels and creates mass chaos. We waste more money in overtime, working until the storm hits, than we make in sales of extra product. Stores don't want to be open but they have to because some dumb dumb will go into a store the day of a storm to get useless items.

I've had 12 hour days driving to Bowling Green this week (70 miles south). Both cities are in a panic. I may start a bootlegging operation.

Some years ago i was involved in some work that had me going down there occasionally and once you got the hang of the room number systems, ie, floor, ring, section, it was easy enough to get around. I liked sitting out in the courtyard by the 'ground zero' cafe', knowing you were targeted with several multi megaton nukes from Ivan.

"UK" is that school to the Southeast of us that won a bunch of games when they hired a guy who poured cement for our football stadium to serve as their baskeball coach. (Eventually, they named their arena after him).
