Distance Learning for the University, mostly with Blackboard. I get to teach/train operators of the system so I travel to them. Also, University gets a variety of grants to provide education/ training to state child welfare and adult/ guardianship workers. I go train them on curriculums as needed as well.

I was with GWU when they implemented Blackboard. It turns out, a lot of the stuff that they had been doing in their previous course management system was not supported out of the box, and there was a lot of squealing. I spend the better part of a year setting up things to make it work.

To make a long story short: I hope I never see Blackboard again

It can be tempermental. Especially when professors want to upload recorded lectures. Trying to figure out how to record an ITV session directly into Blackboard, but may not be able to.
