So, book club level lagoon view at Poly for early 2013. If the mayans are right, then that's it and you won't have to have the balance paid on the trip. If they were wrong, then you'll have a great way to celebrate they were wrong (until you have to pay for it).

Bad enough to pay for my next Disney vacation?

I've had a home of mine broken into before. It's a terrible feeling. Thankfully it was before I had kids, so they weren't scared by it.

I've been thinking since I moved into my new house (6 years ago) whether or not to invest in a security system. I just don't like the fact that you have to be tied into a 36 month contract for monitoring!

We had ADT. They did fine for us. Just had to pay that monthly fee.

When I started travelling, I wanted it for security for my family. However, I had a new neighbor pull in - police officer - so I feel safer with him next door when I am out of town and cancelled the service. They can be expensive, but it's like any insurance policy, how much is enough?

Many people have been on vacation, it's time to get back to (Disney)business.

My last day of vacation. Work starts tomorrow. But, I need a break after today - move furniture around to accomodate new sectional, laundry, banked DVC points, posted to DIS - way too much work.

We have a Detective for the county that lives down the street from me and a city cop that lives a little further down. This is part of the reason I haven't installed something already!

Did ADT for a while when DD was young. I called them a lot to give them my safe word and to say the family tripped the alarm. Finally decided it wasn't worth it. Did like the fire alarm things but installed new ones myself.

Just watched the weather. Lows here tonight in the 40's in Orlando the low is expected to be 29. Not used to this stuff.

Well I want to thank you for the input given on the differences of laptop versus tablet and wanted to say I was able to resolve the situation without more money being spent. A few months back (when she started complaining) I bought some extra RAM from Amazon but when I installed the chips the laptop would not recognize them. Well, I finally got around to taking the chips and laptop to the MAC store to ask them why the chips weren't being recognized when I install them. I had tried two or three times, but no go, but at least I was able to reinstall the old chips (I do not think I would be alive if I had killed SWMBO's laptop). The MAC guys checked and the chips I had were the proper ones, so they tried using their chips and everything worked right. The Tech then installed the chips I had and they worked. I asked how much and he said nothing, just the time I spent. Her laptop is now "Lightning Fast" as DW says. I installed MAC OS X and then Mackeeper. She is very happy now. She is even going to try playing Cityville again.
