Good Morning!
fell behind (AGAIN) over the past few days... but I did manage to catch-up, as evidenced by the following multi-quote:
Getting up at 5:00 central paid off!

I got 1900 park fare breakfast & Chef Mickey before the parks open (no wasted time, if possible.) And I got a Le Cellier Lunch and a Coral Reef Dinner.... AT lunch & Dinner times.
So, so happy!
And this will be my first experience at Cinderella's Royal Table.
Good Job!!
As a usual morning check in person, I was distracted this morning. Why you ask? DD GOT INTO ANOTHER ACCIDENT. Everyone is fine and just minor dents. Guy stopped in front of her and she was following too close. This one I am going to try to keep off the Insurance Company's books. She will also need to figure out a way to contribute to the costs. Can't wait until she gets home today. Are there bars open at 9am?
Sorry to hear this. Glad she is okay and hopefully it all works out the best way possibly for you. Did you find that bar??
Oh! I almost forgot! I actually updated my TR!
Reminds me that mine needs updating as well. Perhaps if I really put my mind to it, I can finish it before we hit the 1 year anniversary of the actual trip?!?!?
I think we have DD settled down and back on track after DS told her there was no Santa. There may not be for him this year!

Looks like this will be the last year for DD though because she is having serious doubts now. Somebody tell me it gets easier when they get older.
Our DD has not questioned me about Santa yet. I was worried when we took her to the town tree lighting and she saw the fire department Santa. In about a week we are taking her to the Macy's Santa in NYC. We will see if she makes any connections.
Not too long ago, I picked her up from preschool and while driving home, DD says to me: "Daddy. You know, in Disney World, you can see Mickey in all different costumes and in different places? Well, I think there are actually lots of Mickeys."

I didn't see that coming. So I said, "Well, that's an interesting thought, but I've only seen one Mickey at time. Have you ever seen more than one Mickey at the same time?" She said "No." and I quickly changed the subject.
On a lighter note...
I have found out they opened up dates for the Wishes Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert party through the times i am going. The wife and myself have a few questions about it. Does anyone know how many people total are allowed to be there per night (roughly), and how is the view of the fireworks from there? I am thinking about making it our last night hurrah. What are your guys' thoughts.
We did the dessert party once, and we've watched fireworks from the Terrace several times. I'll see if I can dig up any photos or video from it. I would estimate that there were about 100 people??

If you are familiar with the Terrace seating, it was only the lower most level. We were assigned a table and made several trips to the dessert table while we waited for the fireworks. At that time, we got up and moved to the railing.
I like watching the fireworks from there because you can sit down (you almost have to sit down because of the overhang, unless you are at the railing) And Tink flies right toward you and over your head if you are at the far end of the terrace.
Not to add to your worries (at least not too much) but DD17 still does not have her license as I refuse to let her drive. She failed drivers training from the school district. Last time we had her behind the wheel she was pin balling (my term for it) from side to side in the lane. She claims she was tracking a straight line. I am glad I had her down by the port on a Sunday and there was not any traffic around, she would have sideswiped cars, mailboxes, trash cans, etc. As it stands now, if she gets her license in March when she turns 18, I will not be adding her to our car insurance. Add to this that she can get lost two miles away from home. Don't know if it is the ADD or she just doesnt care.
When I got my first car shortly after getting my license, my father followed me home from the car lot and pointed out to me that I was too far to the right in the lane. I think I was overly concerned about the oncoming trafffic in the other lane and not worried as much about parked cars or other things on the side of the road. I had no idea until he pointed it out.
But that's how DisKids learn to drive since we train them at Tomorrowland Speedway. Thank God for that rail down the middle!
Maybe we should implement a system like that on all roads? An inverted rail and then new drivers get a "training wheel" to help them stay in the middle.
Today I have a test for the US Postal Service. They have a few jobs open in the area and while the Postal Service has had problems for a long time and the job security is nonexistent right now, I hope I place well and get a job offer.
I still have not heard back from Boeing on the 8 jobs I have applied for that I am still being considered for, but I do not expect to hear from them until after the 1st of the year. They give all their employees a break with pay from Christmas until New Years so why should they hire someone to work 10 days or so and then pay them not to work for another 8 or 9 days. The employees who do work over the holiday break (limited areas) I think make triple time for the whole week plus. I don't think my DW has ever worked during that time. This is the first year since she was called back that we have not spent Christmas at either WDW or DCA.
Good Luck! I hope it went well.
I have heard the pain compared to having a baby so I am telling people I am being induced on Thursday
Might as well laugh about it~~
Ouch! Good Luck tomorrow!
