If it makes you feel any better I'm in Valdosta, GA resting up for a long drive home in the morning.:headache:

Atta Andy!! Have a safe drive home tomorrow!

Finished watching my 2 dds in the Nutcracker. Now, it's package time. They bring in the same pro who stuffs his package each year. He won't eat pizza with the kids, has to have special sandwich, and the bottled water can only be a certain name brand. So, I simply refer to him now as package. I think he has a canteloupe stuffed down there this year. And no Barry, I am not posting pictures. Package has one more number. Almost over.

Still working on the bathroom! Sheesh. I feel like a contractor! Just don't get paid like one! :lmao: Special thanks to Dave (dvczerfs) for helping me out this week. Got half of the copper plumbing dry fitted today. Hoping to finish up the drains tomorrow and dry fit all copper lines. Then it's electrical (the easy stuff):lmao::lmao: If I hear "is it done yet?" from DW one more time I may have to call Dave down here to finish it! :rotfl2:

Spaceballs is almost over... time for bed. Later, guys!

Oh... oh... let me guess.

It was ME.

I had a Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich - can't get any more canadian (sounding) than that.

Oh... did you too?

Isn't Canada food great? ;)

You had hot dogs and chips too? :cool1:
:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Another comment from this week... I'm going to DVR the Christmas parade, but I'll be fast forwarding through Scotty McCreery singing Holly Jolly Christmas. I heard it enough times yesterday that if I hear it again, I fear for the safety of my TV... and we weren't even hanging around the hub trying to watch it, we were knocking out rides with no lines.:woohoo:

This thread was really messed up last night:rolleyes1, when I posted last night it put a couple posts that where responding to my post before I even posted:confused3

Let's do the time warp again:lmao: or is it a form of zerfphonics :confused3

My little man had a busy day today, this morning he completed his next belt test in karate, and at 6yrs old is now a brown belt:eek: Then after dinner we went to his track awards ceramony where he recieved a metal (everyone got one, but he still felt like hot stuff:cool1:)

Bad day at work, but it should get better, I have the kids tonight, DW went to her work Christmas Party that I don't have to go to :woohoo: And I'm introducing the girls to The Princess Bride :thumbsup2
Great movie choice.:thumbsup2 Just realized today that Buttercup was Jenny from Forrest Gump.

Wow that's great. He must have started very young to already be a brown belt.

:headache: My parents waited to build a second bathroom in the house, in the basement where my room was, AFTER I moved out....was that a hint or what? :lmao:

Audrey as usual ignored it, but Amelia loved i, I wasn't sure she'd stay interested, seeing that it is very dialogue driven, but she enjoyed it. And yeah, it occured to me tonight it was Jenny too..I'm usually horrible at IDing actors/actresses. Mind you, I cannot think of anything else Robin Wright has done....

Hey guys.

It's been a little bit since I last visited/posted. It's been a very full, crazy kind of week - but in a very good way. I've been in Ft. Lauderdale all week, and still in Florida for another week. Tomorrow afternoon (around 3) I'll be leaving and heading north. Stopping in Vero Beach for the night, then on to OKW on Monday afternoon. :cool1: On a research trip. Will be at WDW til Friday morning, then over to Canaveral to board the Monarch of the Seas for 3 nights. Then up to Hilton Head Island before heading home again.

Step 1 of our multi-step plan has finally become fully effective. We decided to really go for it and go into business for ourselves, and step 1 was completed this week. I can't talk about it too much here on the DIS (since the DIS is owned by a TA), but that is the industry that is step 1. We have formally purchased a franchise operation, so as a result of that I can no longer be associated with FTJ. But this move is allowing for a large expansion over what was relatively limited in scope. Disney remains my specialty, but there is so much more that I have access to now through the home office. My website, which remains mostly Disney-centric, has been up for a while, and I've been sitting in the hotel each night updating, revising, etc to make all of the needed revisions. More to do, but I've been in training ALL day each day all week, so the time is limited each night. A second site went live recently too which is devoted to the expanded part of the business.

Step 2 continues to inch forward, and is a BIG part of this research trip.

Step 3 also continues to inch forward, with an in-depth meeting taking place next week while I'm in Orlando.

Step 4... we're still determining. But in the end, we are considering 3-4 different ventures under a single corporate umbrella.

For those of you who are friends with me on FB, you can see my post about it over there on either my personal page or my business page.

Anyway - I hope you all have a great Sunday! I'll be at WDW very, very soon - and am so very excited!!
:cool1: :yay: :dance3:

Sounds exciting Stopher. Good luck.

Some fun games today. So. Miss. and Clemson were surprises. Congrats Fed. Of course the UNI win was a no brainer. LSU also looked good. Wisc./Mich. State was a great game. Have to feel for the kid from MSU that ran into the punter negating the return.

Can't believe the season is over already. Well, still have the bowl games. Have a good night everyone.

:thumbsup2Congrats and best of luck!

Enjoy your time at WDW and on the cruise.

Ok... it's official ALL DDC THREADS that end in 13 are cursed!

I vote we rename this thread to DDC 14, and start a new DDC 13 - in memory of our lost thread, but no one post to it. Simply have Emma's Dad start it, and have Kathy close it. We skip it and move on.

Let's say we call it:

DDC XIII - RIP October 18 -> November 24, 2011
Maybe the problem with this thread is that zerf is in the title... :confused3

Thanks again Tim! We are headed there tomorrow. We're going to do the Holiday stuff Macy's, Lord and Taylor, ect Holiday windows. Disney, Toy's R Us and because there three girls and only two boys, American Girl. We'll to hit some of the things you laid out. Thanks again.
Sounds like a fun day! Have fun!!! :thumbsup2

Good very late evening/early morning to all.

Been away from the computer the last couple of days. In the middle of working an overnight shift, and then it's home to prepare for some family coming to see DD perform in her holiday recital.

It's going to be a long day.

okay, all caught up.

Wow... missed alot of time warpin' excitement there. The last time I got on the DIS, we were closing out the "Last to post" thread... and I logged back in from work this evening/morning to see that it's still going!! (at least when I checked a few hours ago)

Welcome back to the dads that have recently returned from trips. Hope the dads leaving for trips have a great time!

Stopher, sounds like an exciting time for you and the family. Best of Luck!!

:rotfl2::lmao: <--- about the "package"

decided to check wikipedia for the origin of "break a leg"... the origin is vague but I think the relevant piece of information was that this is a theater saying and that professional dancers opt for french vulgarity.

I just got a LeapPad for DD!!!!

been trying since after thanksgiving weekend. Finally got one through amazon thanks to Zooalert which monitored the site and sent me texts when it was in stock. After several instances of being too slow to get to the site... i had the site page open when the text came in just now. Didn't even look at the phone, but instantly refreshed the page, and clicked to buy...

Now... DD saw Santa the other night at the town tree lighting and asked for tinkerbell and fairy toys instead of the LeapPad... so we may have to shift presents around as to what she gets for christmas/birthday (jan) and who it's from.
