Riley & his team lost really bad last night, but they were all in pretty good spirits after the game. It is only the 1st one, many more to go! They play again today at 4pm, so maybe today will be better.
Isn't it great when they can lose and still have a good time? Here's hoping they do better today. :wizard:

Good luck to Miles this weekend!

Jennifer - Samantha Brown gets on my nerves too.

Tia - How fun for Terra to have her daddy there to watch her sing! :goodvibes:

Count me in for another vote for the "I just don't get Samantha Brown's appeal" club.:confused3

I saw that as well. And, for the record, Kyle and I "hate" Samantha Brown :rolleyes1

No, but really.... could there be a better job in the world, than hosting a dozen Travel Channel shows?! :sad2: :rotfl:

I can take Samantha or leave her, but I found this new show to be interesting. And the thought of finding other things to do in the Orlando area was intriguing too. When Bob and I finally make the decision to "go" it will be helpful to see many other sides of that area. We wouldn't want to choose the wrong area to live in permanently since an apartment overlooking the International Gateway doesn't seem to be an option. ;)

Loved the pictures of the girls, Jennifer. They are so cute and still so little!

Me too! They are looking so alert now, and I can't believe they are trying to hold their heads up already.

Off to try to mow the hayfield that sprung up out back while we were in Boston. Enjoy your mornings, everyone!

My DH could use a bit of DDA power next Tuesday. He has to have a biopsy of his prostate. His PSA (blood test) was up .75 from a year ago which they say is the trigger for a biopsy and they had the test redone and it was up another .75 in just the couple of weeks. His Dad had prostate cancer and had his removed at age 63. DH had a biopsy a few years ago and they didn't find anything so hopefully it will be the same this time too.

Sending lots of PD and prayers!

Well, here's my update for the weekend. I'm at Mom's up by the lake until Sunday night. Hopefully I can pull off Mom's 60th surprise party. Cross your fingers for me!
...but there's been downfalls. My grandmother (mom's mom) needs a place to stay - with the beginning stages of dimentia, she'll be staying with Mom for a few weeks starting on Monday. They don't get along much, so send some peace and patience to her for me. And then there's my grandfather (dad's dad) was taken off life support this afternoon. We aren't sure if he'll make it a day or a week. So send some peace to my dad too. He took a BIG step today calling his brother - with whom he hasn't spoken to in years - so I think he's coming to accept it. There's more to both stories, but I don't need to bore you with more details.
So everyone - have a great weekend and enjoy the weather! Our's is supposed to be 85 and sunny until Monday.

Night everyone!

Good luck with the surprise! Sending PD to all the family!

I'm sorry they lost. Sounds like they are having fun! Andrew's team had the late game, so we weren't in until almost 1 a.m. I couldn't work from home and sleep in since one of my admin's is off today, but I did sleep in about 20 minutes later and didn't make it in until about 6:45 this morning.

They have the late game again tonight, then games tomorrow. Andrew's confidence is dwindling even more as he's barely getting to play. He is having a great time, though. I just hope they keep him on the team.

Cute, Steffy.

Happy Birthday Theresa! Sending PD that everything is working out!

Elizabeth -- it sounds like you are on track for things to do for your mom. I'll certainly send a card for her.

I went to visit my friend who has colon cancer last night and took her some food. Her husband had her call me after I left to tell me it was the best food that had since she's gotten sick. Thank goodness for Two Sisters Catering!

I best get back to work. We have a very low staff level today so we'll be extra busy.

Don't work too hard, Marci!

I can't believe that leagues have kids playing that late at night! I would think that even though most schools are out, there are more children on those teams who have working parents and have to get up to go to day care. :confused3

I hope Andrew continues to enjoy the game and doesn't get too bogged down in the fact that the coach is not playing him as much. I hope his great attitude will be a deciding factor in keeping him on the team too. :thumbsup2

Catering companies are wonderful for things like this. It is like homemade but you didn't have to stay home and make it! I am sure your friend and family enjoyed your company as much as they did the meal.

I used to really like her, but lately she has started to grate on my nerves. I think the problem with the Disney show last night is that it was too much "behind the scenes" stuff. And it was a rerun. I can watch park footage over and over, but watching Samantha brown jump on a trampoline and hang from the ceiling at Cirque is boring.

I saw that in a "rumor" thread yesterday. We saw the show once. That was enough. Hope they replace it with something good! :)
