DDA Chapter 8

Watch for Dings. That may be your best bet.

There haven't been any! The DINGs we have had over the past month or so are to other cities in TX. I found round trip for $160 but I go to KC through Minneapolis and come home through Memphis. Talk about convoluted!
And of course I don't know what dates I need to book, so that makes looking at fares kind of tricky. (And pointless.)

How is Colby feeling? I had a dream and you entire family was in it.

:welcome: home Elizabeth. Sounds like a nice weekend. for your cousin's DH.

Hope Molly is feeling better and Alyssa isn't getting sick!

Glad your windshield is fixed Becky. I didn't feel like coming in here either, but I love payday, so here I am.:cool1: :cool1: :thumbsup2

Hi and hugs to all.:dance3: :cool2:

Oh and Tia, I would vote for F&W. This is provided you know going in that the weekend is going to be crowded. But not so much so that you can't move. Patience. Just walking around the countries and noshing around the World was so much fun. Plan for each stop to be 20 minutes and then be delighted if you get served faster.:lovestruc  The eat to the beat concerts were fun. Relax. Yes, it's crowded, but so much fun...

Grrr. :headache:
DS got hit in the face with a tire swing at school, so now the frames of his glasses are all bent. Not sure if they can be fixed or if we get to pay for replacements.
I went to school to drop off his other glasses and assess the damage to DS. His eyebrow is scraped, but he doesn't look too bad. I think he was embarrassed, and I know it hurt. Being hit hard enough to bend the frames had to hurt! He was a little teary when I was talking to him in the nurse's office.
Apparently there were some kids pushing the empty swing, and he was in the swing next to it. He didn't know those kids. Then a kid he does know told him the other kids did it on purpose. I think that's why he was upset. The thing is, he can't keep being that sensitive. If it WAS on purpose then he needs to be tough about it or something worse will happen next time. I almost think he was hoping I would bring him home, but there are only 3 days of classroom instruction left. If he can do ANY sort of work to bring his social studies grade up then he needs to do it! Besdies, he wasn't gravely injured so he didn't need to come home.

Are we sure it isn't summer yet?

Hi, everyone. Weekend was great. My BIL and SIL came on Saturday, and we went to eat at a new restaurant, Red Robin, and saw Indiana Jones. Sunday was church and spent the afternoon at the new playground our neighborhood built. Yesterday, we went swimming at our neighborhood pool (in Atlanta almost all neighborhoods have a private pool and tennis courts). They just switched it from Chlorine to the salt water treatment, and it was so much better. Then we had friends over for a cookout last night.

Today we've spent getting into the summer routine (they have to do 1 worksheet a day and read me a chapter from a book). This is more for Rees (to keep him caught up), but I can't have 1 do it and not the other 2. This afternoon I'm taking BK to sign up for cheerleading for the fall, and then they have gymnastics. If the weather holds off, I'll take them to the pool after dinner. Tomorrow I have my preschool Teacher's luncheon. We are supposed to get a lot of rain, so I guess we'll skip the pool. Thursday we're going to one of the free summer movies, playing, pool. Summer is here!!!

Have a great day, y'all!

Well my evil BIL & his wife will be here this weekend. Right now they have us penciled in for Saturday. Apprantly my BIL emailed me & thinks we are to appear at my MIL's this Sat to see them. Daniel's last baseball game of the season is Saturday so that ain't happening!:rolleyes1 :headache:

Denise - Glad you had a good weekend!

Anne Marie - Hmm. Sometimes e-mails get lost in cyberland. Has that ever happened to you? :rolleyes1 I would make myself REALLY hard to get ahold of, starting NOW.

Janet & Chanon,

Are we wearing matching tee's for MVMCP??? Or at the GF tea?

Bernadette Lizzy & Emma's outfits turned out really nice :thumbsup2

Denise sounds like you had a great weekend.

Tia I agree with everyone else on going to the F&WF!

Marci another busy day for you! Riley has a game at 8pm. It has been raining all day, so we will see if it gets canceled.

Elizabeth I hope you can find decent airfare. Sorry about ds glasses. hopefully they can be fixed.

Tammi I hope Alyssa is not getting sick :wizard:

Anne Marie enjoy Daniels last game, bil will just have to get over it ;)

Do you have transfer sheets left? I am all out & hate to buy more for just one or two shirts(the boys don't really care for matching shirts anymore :().

If we decide to do this, maybe you could print them out & I can iron them on at Disney :rotfl:

I was just looking at some Christmas designs....

Yikes!! on both fronts!!

I just called DVC to inquire about a summer party this year. They will be having one. It will again be rain or shine outside of the International Gateway at Epcot on Thursdays. Time is 3 PM - 5 PM and it will run 7 weeks starting July 12. :cool1: That means we will be able to make one :thumbsup2

Bernadette I loved the slide show. Hunter watched with me and mentioned that it had been a long time since we visited :goodvibes He loved Lizzy's cake as he Loves Pooh.

Colby is fine at least for the moment. If his attitude doesn't improve he may not be feeling as well:rolleyes1 Hunter seems fine and Nick is still battling a cold. Sudafed and ibuprophen is keeping him moving. What were we doing in your dream...Home Improvements?:lmao:

I hope he is ok and that his glasses can be repaired. Thankfully summer is almost here.

Your summer sounds exciting. I'm glad you get to do fun things with your kids. Since my SIL has started a new job I won't have my neice and nephew this summer. That means that the boys and I are free to come and go as we please. I am very much looking forward to that :thumbsup2

:scared: On both counts.

I like these from Kari -

I like this one

John is gooing to FLIP when we get home from gymnastics. It cost me $400 to register Brantley-Kate for cheerleading including the uniform, sweats, bag, shoes. I may have to play with the turtle to get out of hot water.
