Bernadette. Colby got his Merrel Sandals. They do not have great arch support built in. That is fine for him as he has his orthodics anyway. They are very cute, but due to the abundance of elastic they are hard to get on and fit tightly. Not bad for a narrow foot, but his foot is not narrow. We ended up removing the insole that came with them and are just using his orthodics. Now he loves them and has no complaints. I haven't even heard that his feet are hot

That's too bad. We had to go shoe shopping for Terra on Sat. $55 later she has new sneakers and is still holding out hope for sandals. Luckily, she doesn't seem to care that she has one pair of shoes while Kassie has about 6. Of course, Kristi and I probably spent about the same amount of money, Kassie can just get by with the cheapo cutsie shoes. I was afraid we wouldn't have much luck as they only had about 3 shoes in Terra's size that day and one didn't have any arch support, but she claims to have found the "perfect" ones so that was good. I'm just glad that the guy went plenty big enough so she should be set for awhile. Thanks to my stockpile of $15 nikes I bought when Filene's closed their shoe dept several years ago, I hadn't actually bought her shoes in about 3 years.

I know the feeling......

I will be so happy to be on the airplane...all this buying before the trip is going to put me over the edge. Next time I am going to hire someone to take Christopher shoe shopping....40 pairs later, he still couldn't find something to his liking. At one point I broke out in prayer to help me get through this.

I just got back from Target. 200+ dollars later...................

Sorry to hear this, Hope Molly is better soon

No it's viral so it has to run it's course. The symptoms are the high fever and sore throat along with blisters on hands and feet. They gave up some spray to use on her throat if it hurts to swallow. We just have to keep her on the Motrin and make sure she drinks.

I am hoping that your kids and Bethany don't get it. It's transmitted through saliva and mucus so I hope Mo wasn't kissing or drooling all over the kids.

Thanks everyone for the get well wishes for Mo. She seems to be fine for the most part, except when the fever spikes. She then just loses all her energy and wilts. Since she can't go back to school tomorrow I shut down daycare. I am sure it will throw the boys' dad into a fit but oh well!

Robyn - If any of them start running a fever, at least I'll know what it is. I hope the meds can make her more comfortable. that it stays away from Emma and Lucy.

Hope she gets to feeling better very soon. And more hope that no other kiddos get it!

Poor Mo I hope that the other girls don't get it or Tammi's Kiddos

Argh!! Hope she isn't in too much pain before it's over.
