I am trying to distract myself by mercilessly tweaking our WDW plans.

Princess has used her potty 5 times today. She has not had a single accident! I am so proud of her!

Well I have never stayed at either, but have looked around both. I would choose BC, only because it looks a little more casual & laid back to me. The GF looks more uppity to me(not saying snobs stay there, just a feeling that I would not fit in if that makes any sense). Now if it were just myself & Gary I might consider the GF.

This is what I would say too. GF just seems more stuffy to me.

No, I've effectively avoided the camera lately.

Here's a picture that Matthew (yes, Matthew!) took last night at King's Island. He's short, so he captured my triple-chin well.

One for each kid!

Amy, the belly picture is something you will treasure forever. I never allowed any, and now I regret it.

If you all wouldn't mind stepping up the pixie dust for the job on Wednesday...I will be talking to the Ex. Pastor then. I am hoping that means I have effectively moved to the next level in the process. I had been a goober and not attached a cover letter (can you tell I haven't done this in forever?? ) So I wrote one and used it as an excuse to remind them I had applied...it worked

I'm thinking that the midnight hours listed on the TA site sound more realistic considering the projected crowd levels

Jen just called!

Elise arrived first at 8:35 a.m. She weighs 5 lb. 13 oz. Her sister, Avery, arrived at 8:36 a.m. She weighs 5 lb. 1 oz.

The girls have been with Jen and Kyle all day, except for a half-hour trip away to get immunizations, etc. Neither baby needed oxygen and both scored 9 on their Apgar tests!

Jen sounded very upbeat, but she admitted the c-section had a few bumps (getting sick from the spinal, etc.). She hopes to update her blog soon, with pictures and more details, for all their family and friends. Hopefully, they'll get to go home Thursday morning!

I was so relieved to hear that they are safely here

The Grand Floridian is not a resort that we will ever try. We are too redneck to be comfortable there

NO COMMENTS PLEASE, but my husband doesn't think I have the "guts" to post this picture he took the other day. I can't pass up the challenge, but I really should have wagered something.

That is a beautiful photo. I wish I looked 1/2 that good when I was Preggers.

I got three free Webkinz for buying those $29.99 crocs during Webkinz weekend.

He LOVES them! Every single day he requests his yellow shoes.

Colby loves his yellow crocs too. Definitely his first choice in footwear.

Amy - You look great! I have a triple chin, but I am not pregnant so mine isn't likely to go away anytime soon! We have a D&B around the corner but we have never been. DH and I went to another location a few times before we had DS, but we've never been to this one. Guess we should give it a try some time!

I am so proud of Princess! She stayed dry ALL DAY today, and she told me when she needed to use the potty! That works much better than me trying to guess when she needs to go, because sometimes she waits more than 2 hours and other times it is less than an hour. She will definitely be ready for panties next week!

She is doing amazingly well. That her parents will continue with her when they are on duty.

Sure!! I am trying to find some inspiration for a cake I need to do by Thursday. It's for Emma's friend and she loves horses.

My best shot would be a pile of horse poop I'm sure you will come up with something much much better than that

Jennifer the girls are beautiful. They already have their own looks too. I can already tell them apart. Isn't it amazing how quickly our bodies can feel better after delivery For me it was an amazing relief. The doctors were worried about post partum depression and I asked what the total opposite would be because that is how I felt

I probably should explain the 'Pool Boy' was my son Howie. He was taking on the roll of Agadar in Birdcage. Hank Azaria played the houseboy and Howie mimicked him to a T.

he does a lot of impersonations. He can scrunch his face up and look like one of the Baldwin brothers. He does a mean Marge Simpson. I could go on.


Anyhoo,,,,, we were first going to just swim for a few hours in the pool on Friday and then go to Ronoake Island. Heather, my DDIL and I were swimming with the kids and decided to just keep swimming and talking about Disney and other things and maybe even get a buzz on since this was the first time she really had a chance to do so the whole week. So,,,,we kept asking for the 'Pool Boy' to bring us a G&T. But he failed in his job because he did not remind me to reapply. Thus, I got really sunburned. I am talking really sunburned. Owie owie


That evening after eating all of the leftovers, we all got showered and all gussied up and then the fun started. Howie started taking pictures of us. We did the usual ones. Omi and Opi. then kept adding family members. I think we took over 70 total. He even set up the camera for a shot of all of us and it took just one shot and it came out perfect. I am waiting for him to send it to me to post it. The only sad thing was that Steve is now living in Florida and not there with us. I am hoping he can photoshop Steve in.

The next morning we got up and cleaned up the place and got on the road to come home. I told Hal I really could not stand going home via the BRIDGE and Guenna was saying the same thing. So two cars went via 95 but Howie went back the same way they came down.

Hal started talking back to the GPS cause she kept 'recalculating"
then the fun started. The traffic on 95 was just terrible. Lots of stopping and no reason why. We all left at 9am and Howie got home just after 4pm. We and Guenna and Chris did not get home until after 7:30pm. Eleven hours on the road. I said I will just stick a finger in my ear and say La, La, La and drive over that blasted bridge next time!!!!


But now I sit here still hurting from the sunburn. Lesson learned.

Not sure when we will do the whole family thing down to WDW but we will be doing it in the future.

I hope to post a few pictures tomorrow night.

Terry it sounds like a really fun time minus the drive and sunburn. I'm glad you got to spend quality time with your family.

Since I have only stayed at the BC, I really cannot honestly say anything about the GF. But,,,I would want to stay there just once to say I did. Even though moving during a stay at WDW would be bothersome, I would try it just once to try it.

I figure we all put our pants on one leg at a time and everyone picks their nose,,, OH come on you all do, just like we all scratch our behinds so, what the heck, just one time, stay at the GF.

We had a good day at the Post Office. We were finally stimulated and our postmaster decided that she just wanted to get rid of the Disney pins that she still had so she sold them all to me for $.99 each. She only had 10, but that's 10 more for our trip

I got all of my index cards typed up. I did one for each day and I did separate ones with each parks hours and misc info. Chris thought they were very nice Hopefully it will be easier to keep track of ADRs etc since we are dealing with 3 families.
