Good morning...

Lucy still has the nasty goo and it seems that the cold has moved into her chest as well. We have an appointment at 11:30am.

So the gate took pity on me and actually opened! Which is good, because when I took DS to school all the maintenance guys were out there, but when I came back they were all gone. My back-up plan was to ask one of them to open it for me.

I stopped at the bank and deposited my paycheck, but did I get cash since I am going out of town tomorrow? Nope. I am thinking of going to get a pedicure. I will definitely have to go out later today to put gas in the car (that will be a cheap outing, don't you think? ) so I can hit the ATM while I am out. I am having one of those days where I can't hold a thought in my head, so no telling how I will pull it together enough to be on a plane in 24 hours.

We'll I expected this...sort of. Airtran's (non-sale) price for my December flight went from $146 each way to $161 each way. I do not see ANY flights to FL any less than $300 from Ohio any more.
I know SW will be increasing their prices, but I really hope that the increase isn't going to be as high at 11%...

ETA: Yet Pittsburgh prices haven't changed from the $79 fare!?

Our flights that I'm watching are still $74 for a non-stop out of Dayton (next year), but of course the schedule stops 2 days before I need it to!

The problem is, I don't mind WHEN people come, I just mind WHO comes!

Our NICU actually lets just about anyone (over 14) visit if they are stable (just feeding and growing), as long as it's 1-2 at a time and ok with the parents.

Still, the bigger issue for me is that I'd rather my inlaws just wait a week or so to come down. And then they better realize that they sure as heck aren't staying at my house!

Oh, I can totally understand that! I WILL NOT HAVE MY MIL STAY AT MY HOUSE EVER! I know, I know, tell us how you really feel, Glynis!

I'll send pixie dust your way that they will be able to take a hint and stay at a hotel after you've been home for a while.

Well, my little Physics Professor turns 20 today!! Where has the time gone?! The kids called Jonathan to wish him a happy birthday...now that he has this internship, his day starts before noon!

I've been fighting vertigo all night I don't think I've ever had it so bad. It didn't matter if my eyes were opened or closed the room was still spinning. I even feel nauseous. I'm trying to find someone to work for me tonight, but no luck so far. I don't think that I could carry a food tray since I'm having difficulty walking in a straight line The customers would think I'm drunk. Hopefully I can talk Colby into a nap later as all I want to do is close my eyes. Of course he wants to play.

Deb! This sounds horrible! that you can find someone to cover for you! Take care, ok? You could ship Colby out here, if you want.....just saying.

Good morning.

I am enjoying my day off. I really should get productive but sometimes it's just so nice to have a lazy day.

Last night I mowed the backyard and trimmed some shrubs. Today I need to go out and mow the front. I have to pick the kids up from school at 1:30. I also need to go to the grocery as we are out of milk. I'm going to try to get Alyssa to lay down for a nap this afternoon since she will have a long night at her recital.

We have decided to go to the National Aquarium in Baltimore tomorrow. I hope the traffic tomorrow isn't tooooo horrendous. Robyn - we have our times for the Dolphin and 4D shows. What else should we make sure we see.

I found someone to work for me tonight so now I can just rest most of the day. I still need to get the boys to lacrosse this afternoon, but other than that there is nothing that HAS to be done today. This is really screwing up my weekend plans though. I won't be done with prep for tomorrow.

Colby and I are watching Narnia now.

I'm ok. Not really, but nothing I'm not "used to". Said inlaws are coming over today, and apparently now staying the night which Kyle and I had a lovely fight about. I'm measuring over 43 weeks pregnant, cry every day and night in pain that I've had for months and am NOT in the mood to play hostess -- especially to someone who drives me insane, moreso every time I see her.

It is cool, I just posted looking for a children's book I've had on the babies' "wishlist" (although they SERIOUSLY don't need anymore books... or I need another bookcase! ) but I can't remember the name. I was looking around the whole site, and there's so much there!

Colby has been warned that he must behave today. It is definitely not a day to test his boundaries. I'm sure he would rather be shipped to your house as he loves to play with other kids.

Wow, my day is sounding like a picnic now. Isn't it strange how others troubles put our lives in perspective. I'm so sorry that you are experiencing all the bad things at once. That their visit is short and that they not make it hell on you.

Oh, it's not the end of the world. I don't even mean to complain, things could certainly a lot worse! I think I'm just going to take a Benadryl and go to bed as soon as dinner is over.

I'm so sorry! If I were closer I'd come over and play mama bear for you. How long are they staying? If it's any more than a night, Kyle needs to step up and tell them it's not good for you to have company now.

Come here and vent when you need to! Try to stay calm, though, as it's best for the babies.

Ok, this post is for anyone who is good at math. Katie has had a really hard year with math. Specifically fractions, adding and subtracting compound fractions. I'm terrified that she will lose what little she managed to learn this year over the summer, so I'm looking for websites, workbooks, programs, etc., that could help her. She is not happy about it, but understands that she needs to learn this before math gets harder in 6th grade.

Do any of you know of anything that will help? I have a niece that is willing to tutor her, but she needs materials.
