I thought I'd bore you all with some of Molly's 4 year and Lucy's 9 month pictures. Don't tell anyone but Lucy was really 10 months.

They all came out beautifully  I don't think your girls take a bad picture

I just got a phone call from Alan. He was covering a high school baseball tournament, safely by one of the dugouts, and ended up getting hit in the ankle by a foul ball. His ankle has swollen and is black and blue. He's waiting for a replacement photographer to come so he can go to the hospital and have it checked out. Any spare pixie dust you've got would be welcome! I just don't have the energy for a housebound husband these days! That would drive both of us crazy!

Yikes! I hope it is just bruised!:wizard:

Well, the airport parking is a wash no matter how I work it. Super Shuttle has a whopping TWO DOLLAR discount through AAA, but they want me to add an 18% gratuity.
Parking at the airport, even after tax and airport fees, is cheaper than the stupid shuttle. We have a 20% coupon for the offsite parking place or the shuttle would be a tiny bit less. But really, the stress the shuttle gave us last time wasn't worth any amount of money!

We have a similar airport dilemma. As I will be heading to the airport from work. But everyone else will be leaving together and having someone drive them. It makes no sense for me to drive home as I work 9 miles from the airport. But then I have to figure out what to do with my car for over 2 weeks. As I do not want to pay to leave it at the airport. I could possibly leave it at the office and have them pick me up from there.

We also have to figure out transportation in CA. As our flight arrives late so the only rental car company that also rents cars at the port is most likely going to be closed. So we might have to rent from a different company, have one of us drop everyone off at the port, then head back to the rental company near the airport and then take a taxi. But with CA traffic that option seems like not a good idea.

Then we also have to figure out where we are staying in CA. Near Disneyland, near the port, near the airport, somewhere in between. We need a place for Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night.

I am thinking since we are arriving at 11pm, Thursday just staying by the airport. As I will have been at work all day and with the time change. Instead of renting a car and trying to find some random hotel or driving in an unknown area. But traffic wise we would be better off driving to the Disneyland area at 11pm then rush hour traffic the next morning.

Yikes, I am starting to sound like Elizabeth.;)

OWIE OWIE

No, Becky, my airport parking issues are WAY simpler than that! :rotfl2:
And we are NOT going to rent a car at WDW despite reports of people waiting for an HOUR for a bus from AKL AND SSR because it would cost over $400. It would also be our luck to get in an accident, then DH would be put on probation at work. He would be driving because I am not good at driving in unfamiliar territory. Especially territory like WDW where 8 out of every 10 drivers is also unfamiliar with the area! :scared:

Jennifer - :wizard: for one night only!

Robyn - Those pictures are just TOO CUTE!

Thanks!!

I hope it's not too bad that he's stuck at home with you. :wizard:

I don't know why I should be surprised. This is the same guy that was covering a Utah Jazz basketball game, and ended up flat on the floor, underneath several players. He wasn't hurt that time, but it made me laugh!

You must tell us the whole story.

They all came out beautifully  I don't think your girls take a bad picture

Robyn,
Your girls are just precious!!!

Thanks!!

Well, nifty! Our FedEx packet that we sent to DVC yesterday was delivered at 10:42 this morning! That was FAST!

I was going to say something else, but I forgot what it was.:rolleyes1

I just talked to Molly's coaches wife. She is a friend of mine, I've known her since Emma was 3. Anyway, she was also involved in the soccer debacle. She read me the official complaint against her and Eric. The 16 year old coach stated that the coaches of the opposing team treated their players like dogs. The only way they could get the kids attention was to blow a whistle which she equated with trained dogs. :headache: Do any of you really think that any parent would continually allow Eric, the coach and her treat their kid like a dog week in and week out? She feels that whistles are not acceptable on the field. Crazy.

From what I got out of my girlfriend the other coach's mother does not like my friend. So this is her way of getting back at her. If so than it's a really pathetic way to go about it. Hopefully the President of the organization is able to weed through all the nonsense.

Hi everyone. Well, Alyssa did it, and I am surprised. She got on stage and did her recital. It was only dress rehearsal, but they all did well. Please pardon me while I have a proud mommy moment. If you are interested, here is the dance.

That was truly wonderful. :goodvibes Alyssa did fabulously. And I think she was the best one of the bunch, she looks like a true ballerina. You should be very proud of her.

And I love, love, love the music.

Jennifer - I hope all is well with you and that you are home soon.

Robyn - great pictures. Molly is getting so big and Lucy is SUCH a ham!

I hope it's nothing serious! :wizard: :wizard:

Thanks, Tammi!
Like I said, he can ace any standardized test they plunk down in front of him. Classroom stuff, not so much. His GPA for this marking period is down to a 2.8.:sad2:
He got an 80 on the social studies project, which was generous. But that 20 he got earlier on a classroom assignment has trashed his grade in that class and it just isn't coming up. The teacher never replied to my e-mail about that assignment, either, which irks me.
The computer teacher scares me. He is not well suited to teach middle schoolers. He has anger issues, and the kids know it. They push his buttons to make him fly off the handle. He posted a completely furious, disjointed, unprofessional notice in the online grade book today. Not aimed at DS, but just a blanket tirade about kids who don't do their work. DS has a 77% right now, which is up from the 71% he had yesterday. Still not good, but not failing. As far as that class goes I REALLY just want him to do whatever work he can over the next 6 days and GET OUT. :scared:

Whether I decide to run the half or not I am definitely in need of new sneakers. But that is shopping something I do not enjoy. But I need to find some either way. Anybody want to go sneaker shopping for me??:confused3

Tomorrow night is our Annual Meeting and I am not sure I am going to fit in the clothing I need to wear as I am super bloated.:headache: I have been chugging water with the hope it will help.

I also have been having an issue with several volunteers that I hope calms down soon.

That sounds pathetic. I can't even believe that the complaint is being listened to. :wizard: :wizard:

She did awesome. She didn't look scared at all and remembered everything. Way to go Alyssa.
