Tammi you were up late! Sounds like you all had a great day though & another one lined up for today(minus he laundry of course lol). :wizard: for no rain!

Debbie it was a online transaction, still not sure how they got my card number. I am hoping they can track where the items are being shipped to or that Walmart was notified soon enough & had the order canceled.

Good morning!

I have an exciting day of grocery shopping and laundry ahead!

Our DVC papers are all in the FedEx envelope and ready to go. I re-did my matrix of fun last night while I was babysitting. The kids go to bed at 7:30 so I had plenty of free time! I changed 2 more ADRs so now I THINK we are set. I was surprised that I actually got to talk to Dining since I called 4 minutes before they closed and the recording said my hold time would be 3 minutes!

Jen - Better get packing, (like I have any room)

.
i know, i know..hopefully today!
I'm home. Work Was slow.

ugh I just broke the letter d on my keyboard.
Ugh--hope youc an fix it
As myBob says, he's probably taking a 'mental snapshot'. :goodvibes
Alot of peole in my family say this--i think its sweet!

Good morning everyone-Apparently I got sunburned pretty bad yesterday--also had razor burn on my leg so razor burn on top of sunburn hurts REALLY bad. So im all aloe'ed up and laying in bed for awhile until i acn move haha..So im actually watching Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and relaxing. Hopefully i can pack later today!

We just got home from taking Mom out to her monthly dinner. She is just not doing too great. She is showing signs of dementia, and has lost her ability to stay balanced, even with a walker.
The nursing staff is going to be testing her with different medications to see if they can help.
It just seems weird to see my Mom this way.

I am so sorry to hear this, Tom. It is so hard to watch out parents deteriorate as they get older. I am sending you lots of good thoughts and strength to go through this with her.

Glynis - I hope you and Alan had a wonderful evening out!

Robyn - I hope you got some rest last night and the girls are feeling better this morning.

Tammi - what about a weekend in Williamsburg or Charlottesville? They are very close and can be economical.

We had a wonderful but busy day. First we went to see Narnia. It was good, but not enough Aslan. Caspian is VERY cute. :goodvibes: Then I took Alyssa to the mall to exchange some dresses and we ended up with even more clothes than we exchanged. I also took her to Libby Lu to buy something with a gift card she got for her bday. While we were doing that Bob and Nicholas went to the batting cage. He said Nicholas did real well. We'll see at his first practice on Monday night. Then we went to church and out to dinner. Somewhere in there I managed to do 3 loads of laundry too. Tomorrow, actually today, I need to go to the grocery store and do some more laundry. We also have a cookout to go to in the afternoon. I hope the rain holds off.

You all did have a busy day yesterday. And you were up REALLY late! I hope the rain holds off today too. I am hoping to get Kathrin in the air and us home before it starts, anyway.

of course I did not forget your a nurse;) glad to hear your B/P is fine. Yes swelling is normal but when you say all of a sudden swelling you know what came to mind immediately.

I do, and I appreciate your concern. :) It truly was all of a sudden, but not etxtreme. I honestly think I was just dehydrated (a couple of extra diet sodas the 2 days before in place of water :rolleyes1 ). At this point in the game, and with even more uterus and extra blood than with one baby, I guess that's all it takes. Crazy!

I cried off and on throughout the entire ceremony. There are many reasons I did, but the most important one is that I was so very proud of her.

I agree 100%, Debbie, that having grown daughters is a delightful outcome to raising little girls! Kathrin and Kristin and I left Bob far behind in our conversations over the past 24 hours. Luckily he doesn't mind.... he just sat there and grinned at us. :goodvibes

Elin, it sounds like a truly WONDERFUL day! :cloud9:

Well, hurry up, kiddo! I hope the sunburn and razor burn don't keep you down too long. It is almost time for that cruise!

 I'm sure that it is very hard! :(

I ALWAYS have this problem! :confused3 I told Kyle, I would be better off financially if I just threw away the clothes I had changed my mind on, brand new or not! :rotfl:

What a fun (and productive!) day you had!

That's so exciting... and you have plenty of time to spare, to make sure everything is still perfect! I hope you love DVC as much as we do! :goodvibes

Elin, it sounds like a truly WONDERFUL day! :cloud9:

It was!

And I have some photos to share this morning. I will post a couple at a time so it won't be so overwhelming! :rotfl:

One of my "mental snapshots" of the day:

Some of the beautiful and unique campus. Instead of bulldozing the beautiful brownstones and residences that they purchased over the years, VCU opted to use them "as is" instead:

At the end of the ceremony, an amazing piece of music with bagpipe, kind of dance or rock style (not like Off Kilter) began to play. From the ceiling dropped hundreds of black and gold balloons and a complete rainstorm of confetti. It was so heavy at times that we could not see the graduates!
