I need to scoot. We need to hit Target for a birthday gift, one of the boys' party is today. Emma has a soccer game at 1:30 and then it's off to the party for a bit. Then home to put away our piles of clean laundry. We say we are going to do it every day and it never seems to get done.

We just got home from taking Mom out to her monthly dinner. She is just not doing too great. She is showing signs of dementia, and has lost her ability to stay balanced, even with a walker.
The nursing staff is going to be testing her with different medications to see if they can help.
It just seems weird to see my Mom this way.

Thanks! I know we will love AKV! I called to request Grandstand or Springs at SSR since we won't have a car. But with the reports of buses taking almost an HOUR we might have to suck it up and rent a car anyway.

I can't help you there, as we ALWAYS rent a car! I'm really surprised at the reports being that bad, but I definitely believe them. I hate the buses (everywhere, not SSR)!

Robyn - I hope the girls are feeling better today! I don't know if DS wants to see Prince Caspian or not. He wants to see Kung Fu Panda, and he wants to see Indiana Jones.

Mine want to see Indy too, so that is a possibility if next weekend is a wash-out.

There was a really cute preview for a new Disney movie called Chihuahua's. I hope the movie is as cute as the preview.

I'm 33, which I don't think is all that much younger than you. My sister is 28 and while she says she hates NKOTB could sing every word of every song when I played it in the car one day.

Emma keeps telling everyone that she can't wait to get to Dallas to see Tutankhamen. Gail just gave her a book from the exhibit back in the 70's to look through. She hasn't put it down. Eric and I keep telling her that we don't think it's going to happen but she refuses to believe otherwise. She just has to see Tut she says.

I'm turning 38 this year, so I think that might explain part of it!
I haven't done any additional planning for Tut. I've been a little distracted with the WDW trip. How wonderful that Emma is so interested! DS had a phase where he was interested in Egypt but he seems to have moved on to other things.
