DDA Chapter 7

Just got home from the girls school exhibit night. They do more cute & interesting projects than when I was in school.

I made a bowl of cherry chocolate chip ice cream, came here to DIS & there haven't been any posts since 7:33Pm? Wow, something good must be on tv!:happytv:

yep...it can be a challenge at best.

Thank you for that nice post on that thread! :)

Kristine, I counted 18 shirt requests since you last posted on your thread. And one post by someone who was obviously quite irked that you might be on vacation and unable to make the design as quickly as they wanted it.
Where do these people get off being so freaking DEMANDING? They are asking you for a FAVOR, for crying out loud! Even if I could design (and apparently it is good that I can't!) I wouldn't plop down and do 18 different designs for strangers in the span of a day.

I REALLY need to stop opening those threads because they just make me angry and indignant! :headache:

slightly better....thanks! I put my own socks on today! :rotfl2:

Kristine - hows your back doing?

Hello everyone!

I have read everything, but I am to tired to respond to all. So :wizard: . , :rotfl: , :cool1: :cheer2: to you all!

I'm here now. Was getting the kids in bed.

okay so I was looking at baby slings/carriers on line today. way to many to choose from. So for those of you that have used them which one did you use? I thought I had saved the info but apparently not.

Well, they don't need fortune cookies and they don't need paper products. I'm just going to stop by a Chinese food carry out and get some beef and broccoli or some Kung Pao chicken or something. I don't have time for this nonsense. What really irked me was when Nicholas brought his homework sheet home on Tuesday. It lists the homework for the week in each subject and it is all due on Friday. Anyway, under Social Studies it had a reminder about the Chinese luncheon and it stated "each child is expected to bring an item to share." For whatever reason that annoyed me.

Sorry Jennifer. I never used one. I had one but never used it. To me, carrying was always easier.

Well a few of the Disney shows were on today, so that could be where some of the DDA went.

What about chop sticks? Or would that be under "paper products"? The only easy thing I can think of that might be easy to make is a chow mein - noodles and vetetables. I have a kick butt recipe for "sauce" if you decide you might need it.

I thought about going to our local place and asking if they would donate about 20 packs of chopsticks, but his teacher is so hard to communicate with. But I'm not going to do that because I don't know if they are needed. I sent in a note yesterday asking what she needed and she said they had plenty of paper products. Nothing about what they would like to have. So they are getting what they get.

We all have dental appts. tomorrow afternoon. They we have to go and get Nicholas baseball pants. He starts practice on Monday and his coach called tonight. Seems like a nice man, far as I could tell. So after doing all that I'm not going to come home and cook. Oh heck, you might as well give me the recipe. Maybe someday I might be motivated to make it.

I never used one with Olivia. But I figure I might want one for the weight in lines at wdw in sept. as she weighs 16 lbs now at 6 months and she will be 11 months when we go.
