okay i need to figure out one more TS meal I think we will be at epcot on the 21st. I am debating Coral reef, LeCelier, or going to one of the resorts. Spoodles, Beaches and Cream, Grand Flordian or ESPN club
Which would you do and why?

We really enjoy ESPN club. They do not take reservations though. We've eaten there several times. Once we had a table in the front room and it had a video game system at the table. The boys (all 4 of them  )loved it. We also ate there during an afternoon and they were doing a live show from there. They had trivia contests going on. That was fun too. My Mother still talks about it and has it as a must do this trip. The portions are large and the prices very reasonable. We even split meals as they were more than enough for us.

Hi, everyone. sorry to be MIA, but the end of school has me running like crazy! Today alone I volunteered at their school for 3 hours, went to the grocery store, have been to the Dentist and had a procedure done (my whole mouth is numb), just came home to cook dinner for us and a friend who had a baby, then taking the meal to her, kids home, teach choir tonight, and a volunteer dinner. That's on top of finishing my preschool end of year book (24 scrapbook pages each), CPR class Sat am, VBS leader meeting Friday and Sunday, kids gymnastics, class parties, etc, etc, etc. I haven't even taken the pictures from our trip off the camera or camcorder yet. I hope everyone is well, and I promise to be back soon.

Wow, take a breath. We'll be here when things settle down. Our schools don't get out until mid June so we aren't into the end of year activities just yet. Though concerts start next week.

Chris' work is having a company dinner tonight at the restaurant that I work at. I'll be waiting on them. Of course I had a dream last night about it and it didn't turn out well so now I'm nervous though I really have no reason to be. Wish me luck anyway, maybe it will settle my nerves.

Anne Marie - Sounds like Katie did a great job! :goodvibes
DS doesn't want to go to video production camp this summer, which is good because now it is sold out.

He brought home a thing yesterday where they are doing summer camp at the middle school. 8:30 - 12:30, Mon - Thur, from June into early July. Each day they rotate through 4 things - Art, Dance, Movie Making, and "Team Building" which is actually team sport cleverly disguised as something else. And it is FREE!:scared1: But he wants NO PART of dance or sports and it is mandatory to do all 4. So that was the end of that.

He got a 20 on an assignment in social studies yesterday because he didn't have time to finish. Yet he said other kids were allowed to bring it home to finish, and under the rules of his 504 he is allowed extra time even when nobody else is! I am NOT happy. His teacher is a nice lady and she really tries to work with him, but she ALWAYS puts the kids in groups. And there is always some slacker kid who makes the whole group fail. DS got a 60 on an assignment last week because he was at the orthodontist and the other kids didn't do squat! They didn't add anything to the project and then they turned it in the day he was out! I HATE, HATE, HATE group projects because you can not force the other people in your group to work diligently. If they don't care if they fail then they are going to drag the whole group down and there isn't really anything that can be done. And really, giving DS a failing grade when he was out on an EXCUSED absence? NOT fair. I am just not going to go to battle with her when there are only 15 days of school left. If he fails social studies this 6 weeks then he fails. I did e-mail her so we'll see what she has to say.

I also hate group assignments. There have been too many that my kids have done all the work on while others sail through and get the same grade.

Wow, take a breath. We'll be here when things settle down. Our schools don't get out until mid June so we aren't into the end of year activities just yet. Though concerts start next week.

Our public schools don't get out until June 26th. Most of the area preschools end now. I am glad that the two busy times don't overlap! After next week, I have a little time to catch my breath.

Chris' work is having a company dinner tonight at the restaurant that I work at. I'll be waiting on them. Of course I had a dream last night about it and it didn't turn out well so now I'm nervous though I really have no reason to be. Wish me luck anyway, maybe it will settle my nerves.
pixiedust: I am sure that it will go perfectly!

Hey, if all else fails, just plant a big one on him!!!!!:lmao:

Coral Reef, just because I like it there.:) We're trying Spoodles in August.

If I was going to be at Epcot already, I would do LeCellier. That is my favorite restaurant. That way I would not have to leave the park.

Happy Birthday(s) Cassidy and Abi! I hope both of you have a wonderful, wonderful day!

Jennifer, we did not enjoy Spoodles at all. It was the only meal we had this trip which wasn't good. We just didn't like the Mediterranean food, and our server was terribly slow. It wasn't horrible, but I'd definitely pick one of the other's listed over it. We loved Beaches and Cream. The burgers and ice cream were fantastic! But you can wait quite a while as it is very small inside and no ADR's. LeCellier is good, and I've read good things about the new Teppen Edo (we will try that in December). We also really enjoyed 1900 Park Fare for dinner with the Stepsisters and Lady Tremaine.

Le Cellier is yummy, but my kids really liked Coral Reef, not for the food (which was delicious) but for the aquarium. There is a card at the table with all the different fish on it that are in the tank. Nicholas spent the time looking for each fish that was on the card. Then a diver came out with a sign for a couple in the front row. He got a kick out of that. I think I might try to do that for him for his bday.

B&C I think is a waste of a dining plan TS. I don't think you would get your $$ worth there. Although their burgers are yummy.

Where at GF? We've done 1900 Park Fare for bfast and really liked it. We are doing the dinner there in August.

The other 2 I haven't eaten at.

okay well Olivia really doesn't like hamburgers so I think I will skip Beaches and cream.

1900 park fare for dinner is what we are thinking.

Okay looking closer at Spoodles I probably wont like it

I was thinking Coral reef and even though thats not are Anniversary its the 28th I was thinking of trying to get the diver to hold up a sign.

I'm sure you remember my Honda's little altercation with the garage last summer when Matthew was driving. Well, they were fighting again about a week ago. This time I put down the automatic garage door at the same time Matthew was lifting the hatch. Not only did it leave a lovely scratch, but the rear windshield wiper was caught and stopped working. Dh and I both looked at it and thought that it was broken. I took it to the dealer today to be replaced, and it only needed to be tightened. NO CHARGE!!! :woohoo: I'm still going to need to have the scratch taken care of at some point, but at least my wiper is working for the trip this weekend.

I just have to make it until next Friday!

Good luck tonight!

Public school and my preschool all get out next Friday, May 23. So I'm swamped with their stuff and my stuff at the same time. Our Mother's Day tea was yesterday, so that's one more thing off my list! And I've tried to fit in all my doctor's appts before they get out. I've done Dentist (twice), GYN, Mammogram, Urologist (go back in June as I'm having surgery this summer), and I still have the Dermatologist in 2 weeks for several mole removals (one may be done during the Urology surgery).

We loved the dinner. The Stepsisters and LT are great. The food is average, but the character interaction was fantastic. Have fun!

We had Mother's Day teas (one for the 3-day class and one for the 2-day class) last week. It is nice to have those over and done with! Next week we have regular classes on Monday and Tuesday, a picnic at a local park (I need DDA pixiedust for good weather) on Wednesday, a cleaning day on Thursday, and graduation for the 3-day class on Friday. Then life will be a little simpler for a while, and I'll have a month that I am home while the kids go to school!

Matthew's life is also starting to slow down a little. The play was this past weekend. His last AP exam was on Monday. His last track meet was yesterday. He is still going to go to track practices, but at least he can miss if he needs to.

The High School Drama club presented three one-act plays: The Pen of My Aunt (Gordon Daviot), A Marriage Proposal (Anton Chekov), and Sham (Frank G. Tompkins). Matthew was The Stranger in Pen and Ivan in Marriage Proposal. He really enjoyed it, and I thought he (and the whole cast) did a tremendous job.

Well when my kids were really little like yours are now, my first priority was not to run from park to park or park to resort. If I was in 1 park we didn't travel too far for dinner. I have been to all you listed except for CR & EPSN.

Beaches & Cream - fun & colorful. Watching the ice cream being made is cool & the food is good. However as Tammi said, if you are on the DDP you would not get your money's worth here. Also there is very limited seating & it can be crowded with long waits. (Also something I would not relish doing with little kids)

Spoodles - We have been for breakfast & dinner & we love it & an easy 5 minute walk from the IG at Epcot. Open air kitchen & long wood tables. Tables are not cramped together which is nice. Always have had great servers there. Tends to be on the spicy side which we love but if you do not then you might not like this place.

Le Cellier - LOVE Le Cellier. Have been here 6 or 7 times now & will return this summer. May be hard to get an ADR if you are past 180 days so I would call asap if you want this one. Food is good & so is service usually. I found it to be kid friendly. No need to leave the park.

1900 PF at the GF - We did this in April. The food was very good & varied. There was a kids buffet stand with chicken fingers, mac & cheese etc. The stepsisters & step mother were funny. Cindy & the Prince dance in the middle of the room..ask for a table in the main dining room, not the side room as you really feel left out over there. Only downside is shlepping from Epcot taking a monorail to the TTC & the taking another resort monorail to the GF. Also figure in travel time after dinner to go back to resort.

I was actually having a brain cramp and was trying to remember who made the shirts and had to ask Beth :lmao:

I know I thanked her right after, but that was as far as my brain would work:lmao: :lmao:

The only one that I have eaten at is Le Cellier. It was wonderful!

It's not a problem...my brain hasn't been working well lately either. I think someone here must have been brainsharing and took some of my share with them. :rotfl:

Last race of the season...

Channing, didn't you post about discounts on AirTran? Are there any that still apply?

:wizard: and  to all. I'm in a bit of a post Disney slump. I'm sure I'm just exhausted. Maybe I can catch up on life and sleep on the rainy weekend.

Jet Blue changed our flight out in August from 9:50am to 9:25 am so we land 25 minutes earlier.:cool1: AND they changed our flights home from 1:30 to 2:45. This creates an issue because the earlier flight gave us better commuter boat options and with the 2:45 landing in Boston at 5:48 it would be tough for Dorinda to pick us up at rush hour. So I called Jet Blue and they changed us to the 4:30 flight landing in Boston at 7:25 so now Dorinda will pick us up and we get 3 more hours at Disney.

Yay for more time in Disney on both counts!:thumbsup2

I know what you are talking about with the PDD (Post Disney Depression) It hit me like a brick wall when we came home & I am only now getting back to normal (whatever that is!:rotfl: )

Look forward to August which is not far away!
