Elizabeth, our band trip to Six Flags over Texas is one of my fondest memories from 9th grade. Yes, we were let loose, but we were all good kids. Now, the make-out sessions on the bus ride back to Baytown is another story.

Six Flags is notorious for having roving bands of troublemakers.
the one in New Jersey has gangs and the police tell families to just stay away.
The remaining ones will be Stonebriar (in Frisco), Collin Creek (in Plano), and Grapevine Mills (in Grapevine). I know there is one at Parks at Arlington but I can't remember if it is staying or going. I don't know FW/Arlington AT ALL, so I don't even know where that mall is.![]()
Not helping, Heidi!![]()
By the way, I think I must be losing my mind, because I used to be so much better about keeping all this stuff under control. Maybe there was just less stuff?![]()

I saw that but I'm confused. There is no boat with the Illuminations Dinner & Dessert party. There is a 'special viewing area' though.
Also, with the Magical Fireworks Cruise GG, do they only take out your group on the boat, or do you get put with other people?
I think when you aren't happy with your job you tend to lose your grip on other things. That also happens to me when I am distracted by other things (my mother, an upcoming trip, issues with DS, all of the above...)
I hope the entry gets there on time!![]()
The Grand Gathering Fireworks cruise is with a large group of people. You can (or at least used to be able to) rent a boat with driver just for your family/group. I can't remember how many fit on that boat. We had 7 the time we went in 2004.
Gotta agree with Elizabeth!!
Well, DH kept waffling, which gave DS a foothold. I called his friend's mom to see if the friend is going. Friend's mom wasn't home, but friend's sister said he is going and so is she. (She's in high school and plays in the band over there.) As far as DS is concerned that sealed the deal. Then DH REALLY started to back-pedal, but I am pretty sure DS will end up going.![]()
When I was in 7th grade we went to Gatlinburg, TN and Six Flags over GA. In 8th grade we went to Busch Gardens in Tampa, and in 9th grade we went to MK. But DH says "Times have changed since then." True, but he was the one who refused to stand firm and say NO.
The thing is, not ALL of these kids are good. (DS and his friends are, but the other band members aren't.) I worry about other kids who are there without an adult picking fights with the kids from our group and a general melee ensuing. Six Flags is notorious for having roving bands of troublemakers because parents buy season passes and drop the kids off, and it would totally be DS's luck to get tangled up in some sort of confrontation. So we'll see.
Neat!![]()
We have concluded it was a wrong number. And unfortunately yes I got hurt, I have a bruise on my left knee and the right one feels like I twisted it. I really need to learn not to run in the house.
Can I just say, I still feel a little shaken up.
Wrong numbers are on thing, but a wrong number from a hospital is a little unsettling. I hope they were able to get a hold of the person they wanted.
Is anyone of our designers doing any designing? I have a request please. My sister is turning 40 this year and I want to make her a t-shirt. Her birthday isn't until December so you have time. Her favortie characters are Dumbo, Piglet and Tinkerbell.
Thank you.
or you are trying to do too much... slow down, woman!![]()
