So our dates do cross :cool1: :cool1: We'll have to plan to get together. If your cousin can't go you'll have to hang out with us. We leave on the morning of the 18th to come home so there is plenty of time to hang out.

o good! i cant wait to meet you! im not sure if i can make myself go alone, but i do have the week off haha
Didnt you say you were not too far from where i was in massachusetts last year? i have to look up where it was--but ill be there again this year !

It has been a day from you know where here today too. I worked on the entry/hall most of the day and night. Chris worked on picking up other areas of the house then headed to camp with a load of stuff for the burn pile. He calls a few minutes later and is broke down on the side of the road. Now mind you we are trading in this truck on Monday and had to call AAA today to get it towed :headache: He had it towed to work and was able to quickly diagnose the issue and for $75 in parts he had it back on the road. Thankfully it wasn't a huge deal, but it still took time and money. So anyway the hall/entry is back together. We have decided that walking down the hall feels like walking down the hall of a hotel :rotfl: Colby says it brings back good rememories:goodvibes

Later this evening Hunter, Colby and I ran out for a few things. We stopped at Walmart and bought Nick a bean bag chair, Hunter a Lava lamp and Colby a big outside ball. I also picked up some Rolaids, Q-tips and mascara. That bag never made it home  I called the store and they have it, which means that she never handed it to us. I'll have to run over there tomorrow to pick it up. Needless to say that we are all tired and cranky this evening. I ended up buying us giant sundaes at Friendly's. Not good for the diet, but much better on the psychy:lmao:

Tomorrow is set aside for cleaning and I have to work.

I think you were around Springfield, MA. It is only a couple of hours from here.

Is it just us or does it look like a hotel hallway?

You should see the lime green shagg rug that we found for Hunter's room. That with the Lava Lamp makes me think he is a 60's kids :rotfl2:

It does look like a hotel hallway...and it looks great!!

Cool accessories. :lovestruc

o youre right..good memory! for some reason, i thought itw as closer..darn, no road trip for me hah

Depending on when you're there we may be able to do a road trip. I know that Six Flags is just outside of Springfield :goodvibes

Yeah, but see I don't really want to! :rotfl: I mean, i get totally excited by the idea. I spent an hour this afternoon looking at sewing machines, calling my mom to see if she still has one and if she uses it (it turns out she has never owned one, you see where I get my sewing skills! ;)), etc. I was all over JoAnn's looking at ideas, etc and just filling my head with all the things I wanted to do.

But I don't want to measure, cut, and sew them! I think that's a problem. ;) Give me another week on bedrest though, I'll probably start wanting to do all sorts of new things! At least this whim would also be productive :thumbsup2 After all, for $60-$100 for the sewing machine, the very least I could do is learn to hem my own pants, instead of taking every pair and paying a professional! :rotfl:
Jennifer, it really isn't that hard at all! If you need a teacher, I think I know of one not too far from you who would be glad to help!;)

The biggest reward I have gotten is the love that Leighanna has for the items that I have made her. She loves everything that I make, and unless she knows that I am making something for someone she knows, she doesn't want me to sell it. Not a very profitable venture, is it?

Preparing the pattern, and cutting the fabric is my least favorite task too. But once that is done, sewing it together isn't that bad.

Deb, your walls look great! I used to do decorative painting as a job at one point in my life, and yours looks VERY PROFESSIONAL!:thumbsup2

Now that I am older, the thought of going up and down a ladder several times per square foot does not thrill me at all!

Tammi, sorry your washer bit the dust. I have a feeling our dryer is going out soon.

Elin, it would be hard to pick between the two, they both look really nice!

Janet, I can't believe that you had to go pick him up!
Leighanna has a birthday party next Saturday with a sleep over planned afterwards. She is looking forward to it. I hope I don't have to pick her up if she gets scared. I think she will be o.k.!

Well, we had a nice day. There was a little rain, but still warm-ish.

We took Mom out for dinner as a family and she enjoyed getting out and visiting. She is definitely looking better, now that her meds and meals are handed to her at the proper times!

I then helped my brother put his new bed together, and then we went out to look for new bedding. We were out way too late, and just got in.

Leighanna fell asleep in the car on the way home, and I had to carry her in. Not as easy as it was when she was much littler.

Time for me to hit the hay too.

I wasn't around for all the wonky redirecting today, so I am glad that I missed it!

Have a great Sunday everyone!

thrilling, isnt it? I have to shop around and find a good price for a new memory card...i hate spending money haha

Thankfully, canons take SD cards which are much less expensive than XD. You should be able to find a great deal, for a good size card! Do shop around.... you can likely get a 1 or 2 GB card (all you'll ever need :rotfl: ) for not much more than something half that size!

I have to be honest here. I bought the outfits from a friend that made them. She had made one and I fell in love with it and begged her to make another. I had planned to make the girls something myself, but couldn't resist having it done for me :rolleyes1 The Old Vermonter does great work for awesome prices. She makes handmade sweaters and charges such low prices that I can't believe she covers her material costs. I usually find that making my own things costs more than buying premade, but you get EXACTLY what you want:thumbsup2 I'm glad that you like the outfits. I bought the little miracle pieces before I even knew that you were having girls. Those outfits were just meant to be :teeth:

As I told Deb, though -- they ARE still wonderful, and I do not think her any less talented! :teeth:

...

Deb, it really looks spectacular! Great job! :worship: Oh, and Colby's "rememories" comment is adorable! :)

I hope today is a better day for you all! :wizard:

This is too sweet! :goodvibes

Maybe I'll wait for that kind of reward when the girls can actually have a preference. For now, I'm pretty sure they don't care what they poop in and throw up all over :rotfl:
