I was thrilled to hear that there were going to be some new Disney shows but it was tinged with a little sadness because it was Samantha Brown. She usually really rubs me the wrong way.

We tried for it but did not get it. Cannot remember if it is offered any more or not.

I even bought the DVD. That is how much I loved it.

So did we and I agree with your recommendation on where to sit. I wouldn't have wanted to sit in the lower area because you'd have to be looking up plus you'd be too close so would have to be constantly turning your head. There is so much going on that you want that wide view.

I have switched to "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" because if I wanted to see people who shouldn't be wearing (or not wearing) stuff like that I can do it in my own home!

nope... there was a "Beaches" special that featured people in various states of dress (and undress) at beaches. It was not pretty.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I forgot about it and missed it. Well, I was supposed to be on the way home and instead ended up staying in Lansing. The U.P. and Northern Michigan are getting hit bad by storms. Snow, rain, sleet, hail, freezing rain. You name it and it seems to be somewhere between me & home!

Sorry about the weather! I hope it clears in the morning!

Emma has a friend over and they are camped out on our living room floor. They are giggling their little heads off watching Alvin and the Chipmunks. Mo is there too but she crashed about an hour ago.

I am baking Mo's cake for her birthday dinner on Sunday. Her only request was "It MUST be PINK" I am doing the checkerboard cake with strawberry and funfetti. I guess tomorrow I'll whip up some strawberry buttercream frosting. That should cover the pink requirement pretty well.

I never see anything close to us on those shows! Yesterday there was a place in Snook, TX (no clue where that is) where they serve battered, deep fried BACON! Ick!

We went out to dinner and completely forgot about the Travel Channel show. We caught the last half. DH wants to go to DL. And so do the Uncles. I think I need to get through this summer first, and see what goes on with my mother before I plan for DL next year.

I'm still on baby watch. The doctor took the stitch out yesterday and my DGD is still holding on. After 15 weeks of bedrest, she is antsy. She just wants to get out of her house!! I think they are going to come up for a road trip. Woo Hoo
