It doesn't say anything about bringing a guest. Hopefully it will not be a problem, I know Emma would love it!

Glad you found the error on the book before it was finished.

Sorry you'll miss it. I did not get the email but I am planning on going. Does the email say if you can bring a guest? I looked at the passholder site and it says just to show your pass.

How exciting!! :goodvibes
Princess is still struggling to get her canine teeth fully grown in. She'll be in Kindergarten before she gets 2-year molars! :rotfl2:

My friend's little girl is 4 days older than Lucy. She already has 9 teeth!

Poor baby! Alyssa's 6 yr. molars are working their way in. Hhhmmmm.....maybe that's part of the problem.

Thanks, Elin. She loved it!

Teeth and ear infections went hand in hand with Molly.

My mom is finished with her tests but they didn't tell her anything. In fact, they didn't even tell her when she will have the results!:headache: She "forgot" to ask how long it will be before she will hear something. That would have been my FIRST question! She said she needed to call the oncologist "anyway", but she didn't tell me WHY she needed to call him. :sad2:

Passholder preview for Toy Story Mania May 10-12.

I sure hope that she and you get some answers soon. Can you call her Dr.?

Tammi hope Alyssa feels better soon :wizard:

Denise glad you got the cc charge taken care of. How are BK & Rees feeling today?

Marci it has been raining here all day. No call from Riley's coach yet, but I highly doubt there will be practice tonight. :wizard: for no cancellations for you!

Robyn the strawberry pretzel salad sounds good! :cool1: on Lucy's 1st tooth!

It is good, especially when it isn't all over the back of my car. :rolleyes1 My grandmother made it for our rehearsal dinner and the Jell-o never Jell-oed. I transported it without knowing about it until I reached my parents house. What a mess, but at least my car smelled sweet!

Thanks, we are trying to get a peek at it but she hates anyone to touch her mouth and her feet for that matter!

Oh, poor Lucy! How exciting though.... she is getting so big! :goodvibes

That really could be part of the problem!

A little Orajel calms her down usually but last night she was content to sit between Eric and I and cry then laugh.

Emma will have an AP so that won't be a problem. I told a Diser I would meet them to go on it but I might have to tell her it won't work out. She didn't tell me at first that she's not arriving til 5/10. I wanted to be there at opening and head to another park. I like ending a trip at MK.

It wouldn't have been the end of the world instead of "Some of Emma's Best Friends are Characters" I left off the "of". I wasn't real crazy about the wording and started to change it and that is how the "of" got dropped off. Now that I'm going to change it I'm going to use "Emma's Disney Friends".

I need to tell you that I'm SO sorry I didn't realize that you called Sunday night until late last night. We weren't home from my MIL's yet when you called. And then last night I got all crazy working on that book.

I'm getting very excited about the trip but feel like I have a lot to do. I really need to get my Owner's Locker stuff together to see what will fit in the box. I already have all of Emma's clothes picked out but I think I have too much. An outfit for everyday plus several dresses and now the Car's outfit. But the dresses will fit in a quart size ziplock bag and would be easy to carry to the parks in case Emma gets wet in a fountain or something. I'll have to see how much I can fit in my ONE suitcase.

I still haven't heard anything about my sewing machine yet. I brought it last Tuesday so I guess today is day 7. They said 7 to 10 days.

OH and my boss did my review today without warning. It went well so it was probably best not to have to worry about it. Now I'll get a retroactive raise to 1/1/08. That is a good thing because we are changing payroll systems and going from being paid on Friday for the current week to being paid for the prior week. That means Friday 5/2 we won't have a paycheck. They told us about the change before we got our bonus checks this year and they even offered to loan the money interest free (they would take it out of your check till the end of the year). I opted not to do the loan but this retro pay check will come in handy.

My friend's little girl is 4 days older than Lucy. She already has 9 teeth!
Lizzy had 8 when she was 7 months old and myEmma didn't have any til she was at least 9 months old. We thought Lizzy would loose her baby teeth early but Joe was younger than she was for a first lost tooth and now they each lost the same number-Lizzy isn't too happy about that.

Robyn - DS had 14 teeth on his first birthday, and he had lost ALL of his baby teeth by the time he turned 11. He got his braces when he was 10 1/2 and he only had one baby tooth left at that point.

Bernadette - TOO MANY clothes for Emma? Tsk, tsk. :sad2: No such thing as too many clothes.

I'll give my mom until Friday, then I will insist that she call and press them for the results if she doesn't already have them. I am concerned that this is the behavior I am gong to see going forward - she will be passive abut trying to get info and she will be secretive when she talks to me. I'm sorry, but that is unacceptable. She needs to be very proactive in getting results ASAP, and she needs to tell me what's going on so I won't be blindsided down the road.

She had that pelvic ultrasound that shows what they THINK are fibroids and an area of "thickening" in the uterine wall. Her primary Dr. told her to follow up with an OB/GYN. But she hasn't done that. And I don't know if she even mentioned it to the oncologist. Given the fact that she has breast cancer I think somebody better get hopping on figuring out what those "fibroids" and "thickening" really are! I don't know if the CT will be helpful in further diagnosis of those things or not. Susan's ExMomboss is a GYN oncologist so I may try to chat with her.

Oh that's ok :goodvibes I was just calling to chat about our upcoming trip :cool1:

Elizabeth I know this is very nerve wracking for you(to say the least). Hang in there

Well, I really can only have ONE checked bag, plus carryon, plus stroller, plus Emma. AND....I have to have some clothes and mine are bigger.;) ;)

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: Good luck dealing with your Mom!!!!

Well I made it through the day. There were a couple of tense minutes for me but I think I handled myself well. I did also sit down with the director of the division (he is two levels above me) tonight and did some venting. That went really well. I'm meeting with the section managers (one level above me) on Thursday to discuss the issues with them. For the most part, I'm very supported in my role but I have a couple of issues that I want to address with them.

Well, I am home now. I was at work for all of an hour before the school nurse called. Alyssa was in her office crying with pain, saying her ear hurt. I'm such a bad mom, I told her to give her some Motrin and send her back to class, that I would take her to the clinic in the evening. Who knew the school nurse couldn't medicate with pain reliever, even with a parent's permission???? So I went and got her and took her to the doctor. We are now home having lunch and will go pick up her prescription in a little while. They gave her some Motrin at the drs. office so she is feeling much better.

We had to sign a note at the beginning of the year stating the the child could have tylenol as needed. You could also supply something like Motrin with a note stating they could have it as needed. That is the only way that the kids can have drugs anymore. It has to be in writing!

And we will have a few matching shirts: Bra Mickey, new Epcot world one (with help from Amy's Kevin), new monorail (with help from Amy's Kevin), and the Solar shirts. That's 4 out of 8 days. Any ideas for more? and what color shirts for the 1st 2? The Bra Mickey goes on yellow.

Thanks. That is what I was thinking too.

Jen, glad the interview went well.

Vicki, I hope the rest of your meetings go as well and you can resolve any issues.

Tammi, hope Alyssa feels better soon.

Hi to everyone else!

Ugh! What a long time to wait! I'm glad it went well!

So I decided we should suck it up and buy that August airfare at $188 one way. At least it's done and it is one less thing to worry over. DH said he heard a report that airfare will NOT go down. Momboss and I were talking about it, too, and she also thinks it will keep climbing. She said the flight for Princess over Memorial Day is over $500! :scared1: Dadboss used to work for American and he was going to call some of the folks over there to see if he can get an idea of what's coming, but Momboss thought they would probably just buy the tickets before it gets worse!

Now to tackle the Le Cellier issue...

So i bought a camera today ( a sony DSC-W120)...After talking to a friend, im wondering if i should have gotten a canon powershot..

I wanted something simple but i want to make sure i will like the pictures--anyone have a sony

I have a Canon Powershot 8mega pixel, and we love it.
