DDA Chapter 5

Hi,

I have an assignment to complete that is due at midnight and I have no desire to complete it. I was doing so well with getting them done and then spring break came and I got lazy. I need to get my butt in gear or I am gonna mess up all my hard work.

The special agents have been to my house looking for more information about. They were going door to door. They were stopping all cars over the weekend and distributing flyers looking for more information. They are offering a $40,000 reward if people have important information.

I have a meeting tomorrow. I still want to apply for the camp director position but it just has not happened yet.

Of to go and type some BS about budgets.

well the kid must be feeling better....he has informed me he is having a girl over.

I tried to explain he shouldn't have his mouth open too much....eeww!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: my goodness, I am glad you are back! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi all! I just got back from another Level II ultrasound -- everything looked good! The girls are measuring right at the appropriate weight for gestation (and we obviously know our dates are 100% correct).... so now I can stop worrying that I've gained very little weight, and just focus on steady gain going forward, the best I can! :thumbsup2

I'm glad that things are going well. Now maybe you can relax a bit and just enjoy being pregnant.

It's been a busy couple of days around here and I'm afraid things are about to get busier. I finally submitted our application for refinancing our mortgage. I also found out that we really need to get the rennovations moving as our mortgage officer would like it done before they do an appraisal  That means basically making crack repairs, painting all the ceilings and walls then installing the flooring. Not something that I'm looking forward to. Chris is actively Truck shopping. Mind you he knows exactly what he wants. I think he will probably end up ordering exactly what he wants, but it will take about 8 weeks from the order date. We need to get the mortgage in place first and he wants the truck for our trip which means that timing will be very tight.

Would it bother any of you if I post a picture of Olivia?

What a silly question? Don't you realize by now that I (and most of the rest of us) live vicariously through all the cute pictures you and everyone else posts of all the kids - young & old.

Sil sent me this picture of Olivia

olivia-1.jpg

Wow, look at all that hair for such a tiny cutie.

Baby A is approximated at 1 pound, 6 ounces. Baby B is close behind (yay!) at 1 pound 5 ounces. I'm told in a twin pregnancy, a good average is 1.25-1.5 pounds between weeks 23 and 24. I'm 23w4d, so that seems just fine to me (1.38 and 1.31 pounds)! I'm sure they'll taper off a bit going forward, because they have so little room in my non-existent torso. Still, already bigger than many babies I took care of in the RCNIC.... and I plan on trying to keep them in at least a bit longer! ;)

That is sounding excellent! And the fact that they are so close in weight is great, too! Means that both twins are getting equal share of the nutrients, etc. If one twin was significantly heavier than the other it would be cause for concern.

Just a quick pop in before I head off to bed...

Jennifer- :yay: for the babies growing!! Good job, mom!

Janet- So wonderful to hear the great updates on Olivia. :wizard:

Kristine- Glad to hear Jonathan is feeling up to company!

Lindsay- Good to see you posting! We've missed you around here.

Karen- Those dresses are gorgeous!

Deb- Good luck getting all those tasks accomplished before your trip. If anyone can do it, you can.

We had a busy day. The day was just crazy, it seemed everyone was in a foul mood (with the exception of Lucy, of course) and very little or no naps on top of the bad moods. I had to scramble to get the girls picked up from school, their normal ride home called me about an hour before school saying he wasn't going to be able to pick them up. Thankfully Gail was home and ran up for me. The thought of dragging 5 cranky kids to school was pretty :scared1: After all the daycare kiddos left we went to dinner with my mom, sister and niece for Molly's school. I then dropped Eric and the girls off so the Easter Bunny could shop. My mom and I hit Target, Toys R Us and Payless. I dropped my mom off and made one last stop to the grocery store before I headed home.

The big news here is that Molly has used the potty all day. I put her on it this morning and this afternoon and evening she told us she had to go and did. She goes very little so it's only been 3 times but she has managed to stay dry all day. I feel like we are finally moving forward. It has been something that is just seemed unreachable.

Have a great night all. Catch in the am!!

I need some advice!

I pre-ordered Enchanted so I could get the lithographs. I picked it all up at our Disney Store this morning, and when I got home, I looked at the DVD I noticed it's Full Screen. We like the Wide Screen. I called the DS to see if they had any Wide Screen that I could exchange for, they said they didn't receive any of that version.

I know that our Walmart has them in Wide Screen. If I take back the DS copy to Walmart, will they accept it? I don't do a whole lot of returning, so I don't know if they have a way of knowing if a certain item was purchased at their store or not. Can anyone help me? Or are we stuck with the Full Screen?

Glynis - is the DVD casing red? I've noticed that most (if not all) of the DVD cases the DS sells are red - I'm assuming so they know what DVD's are theirs or not. If yours is red, I worry that you'll have a problem exchanging it elsewhere.

I know you got the lithos, but why not take the original back to the DS, and get it elsewhere? I bought my copy at Target today for $15.99 and it had a bonus DVD exclusive to Target. I also noticed that Best Buy was selling it (for either $15.99 or $16.99) with 2 Enchanted storybooks.

Good luck!!!

Jennifer - great news on the babies! :thumbsup2

Jen - wonderful pictures! Colorado is beautiful.

Marci - sorry to hear that you didn't think Grey Wolf was worth the $$. I was thinking of you today, wondering if you were still there - you could have used your inner tubes to float home in. I can't believe some parts of the metro got almost 8 inches of rain!

Vicki - hope the week is going well for you!

Robyn - sorry today was so hectic. Yay for Molly's progress! :yay:

Becky - good luck with the assignment. I hope you have it done.

Deb - good luck with the house "to do" list and the refinancing/truck shopping. That sounds like a lot, but I'm sure you'll get it done!

Well, I'm going to head to bed. Instead of being one of the poor souls stuck at an airport in Texas tonight, I spent the evening on my couch in my cozy pj's. Much better, IMO. :thumbsup2 I also just got sucked in to watching some QVC (Bare Minerals was on). I was very close to getting myself into more trouble, but the kit I was eyeing sold out. Divine providence! :thumbsup2

Sleep tight, DDA! :cloud9:

Jennifer-I am so glad the girls are growing well:goodvibes :goodvibes

YAY for Molly! I hope today is just as productive.

Thanks! It's nice to be around...I know Bill is happy...now he has to entertain me less! :rotfl:

I can add more fire and his name...or if you have another suggestion...feel free!

I'd like to put it on a black shirt so maybe more fire to make it more orange I guess??? Thank you!!

I know - doesn't their website stink? I got a little packet of info. from Disney in the mail the other night welcoming me back to AKL in May. Hmm...seeing as how I never paid the deposit on that reservation, that isn't correct. Guess I need to call them and make sure. They seriously need to put some Imagineers on their IT issues.

Are you staying in a std. view room at the BWI? When we stayed in one in '05, I had read to request a courtyard/garden view, just so you're not stuck with a view of either the front drive or the conference center. Worked like a charm - we were right on a pretty little interior courtyard, and could see the high fireworks from IllumiNations (bet we could have seen more if we were higher up, but we were ground floor).
Sounds like you better call them! I don't believe how screwy the website can be!

Yes, BWI standard view. I requested full balcony, (meaning no ground floor) & Epcot view. Does that sound good?

Well, I switched over to AKL for the last 7 nights. Sorry, Anne Marie! :rotfl2: Now I need to change breakfast on our departure day and move our Puck ADR to dinner instead of lunch.
I got the pool view room with a AAA rate. If I can get an AP rate and add DDP, great. If I can't, I'll convert the room to a AAA package and add DDP. The CM linked my 2 pool view ressies so hopefully we won't have to move from one pool view room to another. I hope having 2 back-to-back ressies in the same room isn't a gigantic pain. I can see it getting complicated because we'll have to have new room keys with the DDP on them.
I knew you would!;)

Thank you all for the comments & prayers about Olivia. I do have good news! The Dr's say they cannot find anything wrong with her & her kidneys are functioning just fine :cool1:

She is a fighter! Now I am really looking forward to my May trip so I can do some shopping
Thats great Janet!:woohoo:

How petrified you must have been when you saw your ressie was canceled! I'm glad it's still there.

Congrats to Molly for using the potty!!!!!!!!!!!!!:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:
