DDA Chapter 5

We, or I should say I want to try a few different restaurants in November, but there are a few that we love, and will definitely be going back to. We tried Biergarten on one of our family trips and we didn't care for the food at all. The only exceptions were the deserts, they were great.

I got my EOB from our insurance for the bill that was over $700.00 for lab work, our portion will be a whopping $7.91, it's a shame that they inflate the charges so much.

Hey Jennifer - save a spot for me in the van when you are going by in August and I'll stowaway, think anyone would notice? :rotfl:

maybe:lmao:

it might be not sure. Our Walmart only has 4 different princess ones and I'm not real crazy about any of them.
How about something like the Mickey Swirl that Deb used?

DH & I ate at Biergarten on our first trip and enjoyed it. I took Lizzy for her 1st trip and was SO happy that she slept through it as she wouldn't have eaten anything there. She & Joe would eat the chicken now (Joe would try lots of stuff) but Emma wouldn't eat anything there. I know Tammi's kids eat a lot more than Emma does so I think they might enjoy it.

Glad to hear your share of the lab work isn't too bad.

You should definately find a spot in Jennifer's van!!!!!! It would be SO much fun to see you again! [maybe Joe could sing his song for you;) ]

Well, let me add another chapter to the drama that is my life.

We are taking our youngest DD on a cruise in May to celebrate her college graduation. Our oldest DD was not able to go along as they are not in a financial situation that would allow for a vacation, but . . . . . ., SIL's employer takes his employees and their spouses on a cruise each year, come to find out they are booked on the same cruise that we are taking, the would be embarking the day that we would be debarking. Sooo, I let my youngest decide whether or not she wanted to switch dates, the only drawback is DD's MIL is also going, and let's just say she isn't our favorite person. :rotfl2:

Anyway, we will be changing dates and going on the cruise with DD, SIL, and Brandon. DH asked him if he was going to Mexico, he said yes, DH asked him what is Mexico, he said I don't know.

Of course it's going to cost more and we have to wait another week for vacation.

Nothing ever goes easy around here

For our breakfast I booked the 10:30 seating. We are not doing the DP in August either. I plan on us eating more counter service & I am placing a order with Garden Grocer.

no it would cost us over 600 plus, tip and tax. We spent aprox 500 last time and did 4 character meals last time. I think we are going to do H & V breakfast, Norway breakfast and the clam bake. Just need to decide the days and times. As soon as I get my reservation # in the mail from Chanon, I will book. I will try for late times on breakfast. Olivia eats that very well.

Hmm I will have to check but I dont think I saw it their.

:rotfl: Sorry this made me chuckle

We are trying some new restaurants too. The clambake, Biergarten and 1900 for Dinner will be new for us. However, when Bob and I went out to dinner the other night I ordered the Wurst Platter....2 sausages, red cabbage, German potato salad, and sauerkraut, figuring it would warm me up for August. It gave me terrible GAS! So now I'm second guessing the Biergarten. But it just sounds so fun!

I am planning 11:00 for breakfast. We are doing counter service and bringing snacks with us. Will have to get milk at a store their

How wonderful Debbie :cool1:

since I am trying to make the trip in Aug a suprise, and the cost of plain onseies or T-shirts is the same as th ones that all redy have designs on them at target and walmart. I went ahead and bought 8 different designs in size 12 months for Virginia.

I ordered Olivia a swimsuit and rashguard shirt from disney shopping last night. I ordered a 2ndsuit for her to have at moms and will just use a regular shirt at moms, I had bought Virginia a swimsuit at walmart that is Ariel, I found a Minnie one at savers last week for Virginia for my moms house. she has a pool for them at her house and an ariel sprinkler for her house. just need to find a swim hat for Virginia in purple or white for our house and red or white for moms house.

Olivia can still wear the shirts from our 2006 trip as they were big on her then. I ordered a gift card for motherhood maternity from mypoints so I can get some nursing tops for our trip.

It sounds like you are making great progress.

so I am trying to figure out what type of sun cover/feeding cover. I have looked at savers and goodwill for disney sheets and have not found any. They dont sell just a top sheet at walmart or target. So I am thinking of getting a white or pink sheet, convincing my mom to sew it together to make it a little thicker, then iron some princess designs on. I think she still has her sewing machine. I do not know how to sew except buttons. What do you ladies think.

I don't think that you need to double up the fabric. You just want the shade, not extra heat. I think you'd be fine with whatever sheets you have or even some fabric. I'll check downstairs to see if we still have the mickey sheets that we used to use.

It is funny now but it wasn't at the time. I was miserable! :rotfl2:

Exactly why I always carry rolaids soft chew with gas relief

I know we were talking about airtran discount a few weeks ago...does anyone happen to have one? Im looking at booking a trip for this weekend!

Good morning, DDA!

Becky - I hope all the excitement has toned down at the end of your road!
  I wish. I was highly suspicious that it was a high profile homicide and I was right. But I thought it was actually the next door neighbor, but either could be high profile. Police are guarding the two houses next to each other. Redner's is a grocery store chain in the PA area. I do not think it will quiet down for awhile. I am sad for their family.

Who is the Palace Royal Guard? That is one autograph that we don't have.

It is a show that they put on at the Pirate & Princess Party. There are three Royal Palace Guards from Aladdin. I'll post pictures when I get them up. There are three of them.
