Based on performance I think the choices were valid. But that poor girl who got sent home (the 2nd one) did SO much better with her song tonight that it was kind of a shame she was leaving. She didn't sing very well last night.

I was surprised to see her go, but agreed with the others.

Thanks for not giving Idol away. I'll watch it after Lost goes off.

Work was odd, but I faired pretty well in the end. I also was lucky enough to have someone ask me for the cocktail shift Saturday night which means I have the weekend off. That would not have been a profitable night for me anyway.

I am Deb, wife to Chris (aka kitchensinkguy) and mother to my 3 real princes Nick age 12, Hunter age 10 and Colby age 5. We love everything Disney and vacation there as often as possible. Last summer we did a 3 week trip and we have another one planned for this summer. We will bring our camper down and stay at Fort Wilderness for the whole 3 weeks . If you post on the boutique thread then you've probably seen my shirts over there. I work evenings as a waitress mostly in an effort to pay for our Disney addiction.

DH and I were just talking about it. The first thing that can happen is that we are kicked off eBay, which would put an end to a very bad habit. What I am not clear on is how much recourse the seller has after that.
They could very well still try to hold us liable for the bid, and PayPal could bill my Visa for it. Or worse yet, debit my checking account. There isn't any money in my PayPal account for anybody to take, but it is linked to our bank account and one credit card.
I also have bids on 2 other items that close within 30 minutes of the lens we don't want. If eBay kicks us off I guess we won't win those, either! I hate that we haven't heard back from the seller, because if he wanted to cooperate it would be an easy fix.

John's MRI was normal. Good news, but frustrating as they still have no ideas what's going on. He goes back to the ENT tomorrow afternoon. My grandmother's surgery is at 8:30am tomorrow. My parents were in route to her house when I talked to them tonight. I'll keep you posted.

Good news on John's MRI. I hope they can find an answer soon, but it's good that some of the really bad stuff is being ruled out.

Hey, look! It's snowing! Momboss has a 7 AM flight - maybe. Hopefully she will check the airport before she leaves the house.

I can't sleep.

So I found out the $200 converter thing is NOT what we need for that lens. We need a different, $50 thing. From overseas. And the lens still wouldn't have auto focus function so it wouldn't be that helpful.

If I don't hear back from the seller by the time we hit 24 hours from when I e-mailed him I am going to retract the bid. I got a notice that I was outbid on one of the other things, and chances are good that I will be outbid on the other so hopefully we won't get booted off eBay with open bids on other items.
