Karen -- I'm so sorry -- sending prayers that they get a true diagnosis.
I hope you find a solution for your income. I'm going through burn-out with my job (which cycles around continuously since I've been here 20 years) and wishing I didn't have to work so many hours. There's simply nothing I can do about it now, as the tuition for the boys won't allow flexibility. Andrew and Jake's ability to function well with their learning problems is what keeps me going, but I don't have to always like how we manage the financial part of affording the education.
PD to your great Aunt and Uncle. That's a tough situation. It's amazing they lived at home together for that long. What a wonderful love story.
Congrats -- have fun!
Enjoy your day at home.
Well, the house wasn't too bad when I got home yesterday. They didn't make as much progress as I would have liked on cleaning out the toy room, but maybe they will today. I have conferences for both of them in an hour or so. Jake can't be at his, and Andrew is required to attend his. I'll meet Randy and Andrew at the school.
We were going to go to the Johnson hill country house in San Saba this weekend. (Tiny house built by Randy and his siblings many years ago on family land which is out in the middle of nowhere) but Andrew's baseball practice was moved to Saturday because of bad weather yesterday, so hopefully I'll get a lot more done de-cluttering this weekend. Have a good day everyone!
Sending PD to all those who need it!
