Off to the "world"

4am sure comes early!! It only 1 degree...and very windy...so far the plane is on time...cross your fingers.

So, unlike my SIL with whom I ate lunch yesterday, ultrasound pictures won't "creep [any of]you out" will they?!

First, a shot that won't appear on my blog or anywhere else. It's a photo taken on a high power microscope, not an ultrasound. But it goes with the theme VERY few people have seen this (maybe nobody I know IRL?) because most people were not filled in on the whole process.

This was taken at literally 72 hours of existence. These blobs are my babies, when they had only about 8-10 cells! The whole thing just blows me away....

I did find out a couple of weeks ago that we will have a girl in our family come June My nephews girlfriend(might as well say wife)had another ultrasound & they were finally able to tell the sex. Sil & myself are so excited, I can't wait to start buying little girl's outfits!

Jennifer, those are awesome pics.

I don't understand the gross out part. Most people couldn't tell what they were looking at in the first place when we showed off the girl's.

I think the microscope pic is really interesting. How cool to have them on film at such a young age!

Eh, who knows. My SIL is quite strange..... I thought it was maybe just an 'over lunch' thing, so I waited until after. Nope! She thinks it's too "alien". This coming from the girl who, while a very bright civil engineer, says she wants to get a puppy, but not one that poops.

I saw it! Mine is very similar, very intelligent but no common sense. It's frustrating to hold a conversation with her.

My sil is wonderful, I am happy to have the exception(this is Gary's brothers wife, my brothers wife, well she is part of the most of lol).

We can't seem to make boys in our family. The last boy is 21 years old. Enjoy her!
