DDA Chapter 4

Off to the mall with you, then! :rotfl2:

I was just talking to Susan. She has the coveted 40% off code. No clue how she got it - they have never been to Disney. Trying to talk her into going in August and tagging us on to the ressie...:rolleyes1

Wow, lucky her.

So you are right in the middle, even more then Theresa.
We have done EMH (mornings) and had a good time.

Heidi I do plan, but I also tend to stray from those plans at times. Nothing is set in concrete & if we decide we want to do something else, we go for it. I am the one who goes against the grain & goes to EMH at nights, I just love it!

Well we are slowing replacing all the TVs with HDTV. Just went to Walmart after dinner and got a 32" for John's computer room. Next will be the bedroom, and then maybe (big maybe) my computer room. John says yes for my computer room, but I say not so sure as I hardly ever watch the TV in here.

You are thinking quite clearly, Jennifer!!! It is wonderful (especially with twins) to have help with the feeding. I breast fed as much as possible, but there were times when that was ALL I got accomplished all day long. By the time night came around, I really needed some sleep. And Alan needed to feel needed, too.

I was also lucky that my girls showed that they could sleep through the night at 3 months. Up until that point, I had them co-sleeping in a playpen in my room. When they first slept through the night, then into their own cribs they went. For a while we let them sleep together in one crib, but as they got bigger, it seemed to annoy Mary, so we separated them. Now that I look back on it, I can see that Leslie has always been dependent on Mary. Still is. That's why they are in the same kindergarten class.

Oh, you are going to have so much fun as you get to know these twins!

This is our plan for sleeping as well. We are hoping to get a portable crib/bassinet for the room, that they can share until they are a bit older and/or squirming too much to share. Then they both get their own crib.

Good morning, everyone! Thanks for all the well wishes! Alan is still feeling pretty icky! He's staying home from work again!!! That never happens. Add to that, he's staying in bed for the second day in a row!!!!! I've never seen that happen!! He must really feel icky. As for me? Well, my throat is still scratchy, but not swollen or very sore. I'll continue with the Zicam and cold medicine. Guess one of us has to parent, though, so that will be me. I'll get the kids off to school, finish putting up posters for the school play, and then run to the library to avoid any fines I might get by waiting until tomorrow. Then it's home to put the finishing touches on Katie's costume, and then I can relax.

Oh, I forgot! Got to stop at the store since we're out of milk. Might as well do the weekly shopping done, too. Good thing I did the menu for the week yesterday.

Better get off here and get my hair curled!

I hope Alan is feeling better soon! :wizard:

We are not planners. John calls an TA they book the trip and we pay. I might plan a few ADR's but they are never concrete because we hate being tied to a time that we HAVE to eat. Also while we are in Disney we never plan our days, we just get up and go.

Was this post in English?

;)

Pillowcases

If anyone has asked for pillowcases, please PM me with your request.
Due to Cassie being a PITA and DH and her fighting everyother day, I have tried to stay out of the main areas when they go at it. This has kept me off the computer a lot.

I will check my PM box a few times a week while this pluto poop is going on in my house.

If you have a request please send it with the following information

Age of person
colors they like
If for a school or team Colors of school or team
correct spelling of name to be on case
Team or school name (or initials) if wanted on case
if a gift... things the person likes (ballet, baseball, planes, Mater, Ariel, etc)
Time needed (please give me enough lead time to get it done)

All my stuff has been put away due to Cassie moving back and I will need to find a new place to take over and do this stuff.

Anyway, thank you all for your PD and prayers and I wish everyone a fabulous day.

Our u/s today was a bit underwhelming (very rushed, adjusted for the peri's schedule, but I digress....) -- everything looks good though! My cervix is long enough (nearly 3cm) and closed, which is good. I will go back every 4 weeks to start for Level IIs and meet with the peri, then progress to every 2 as needed. She told me if I'm working 50 hours I have to rest whenever I'm home, which puts an end to my hopes of ever getting anything accomplished if I can beat the anemia! :rotfl: Oh, well. Both girls looked good and I'm holding up fine (supposedly), from what I could see on their slightly antiquated machines!

Our bedding came today as well -- and is very cute, and very cuddly! I'm thrilled with it!

We went straight from work to the US to Babies R Us and just got home at 8, so I am BEAT. I have a very long day tomorrow because I'm carpooling with Kyle (spending the day at the hospitals)... I'll try and check in tomorrow evening or on Thursday! Take care! :grouphug:

Me again...

Kevin has still managed to avoid this viral thing, but lucky me experienced round 2.

I felt okay for most of our weekend away, but our drive home was miserable, and I even phoned the OBGYN on call at 2 a.m. resulting in Kevin having to drive to CVS for some Immodium AD and Gatorade. I really thought I had food poisoning...I've never had stomach cramps so bad. Thankfully, the meds seemed to do the trick and I finally got some sleep.

I still don't feel great today. Thankfully, Kevin took another day off, enabling me to rest. :lovestruc

I hope you are all well! At some point, I'll try to catch up on your pages and pages of posting since Thursday!

Amy :)
I feel for you Amy. That is the worst kind of sicknes.

I had the stomach flu when I was PG with Alyssa. My OB sent me to the ER to get IV fluids and a shot of that antinausea medications. Take care of yourself.

I'm glad to hear everything is going well. :wizard: for an easy day tomorrow.

Glad to hear that you & the babies are doing fine! You do need to try & get more rest though because you sure won't be getting any once your princess's arrive ;)

Quiet night around here.

Guess what..........

IT IS SNOWING AGAIN! :sad2:

Janet, it is a slow night, probably cause I'm still here.

It has been flurrying on and off since 2ish.
