DDA Chapter 4

If I can do it for ExMomboss then Kathrin can do it for you! (I have heard that the pharmacies aren't linked, so if you need more meds you can go to another pharmacy and buy them.)

Kathrin didn't buy it for me, I "signed her away" as my first born. :rotfl: I did buy daytime meds as well as the Nyquil ElixirOfTheGods, so I ought to have enough to ge me through this.

After 8 hours of sleep (unheard of for me) I feel marginally better this morning. I am going to ge off here in a bit to eat some breakfast and take the day-time controlled substance. :lmao:

Just as an update, my email address changed quite some time ago. I thought I posted a change on here, but maybe I really didn't (we're talking probably at least a year ago). Thanks Chanon and Amy for bringing it to my attention!

The only email address I really check at home is jn.kaufman@yahoo.com. If you have been emailing stuff, I'm sorry!

Denise -- also, I really didn't get the email you sent about your friends. Amy pointed out that it went to an old address, but even when I searched there I don't see it. Just wanted you to know, in case you were looking for a reply! :goodvibes

Thanks for letting us know that, Jennifer. I didn't have the change in my address book. Did you register your birthday with that address for me?

Have a good day! I think that the controlled substances you mention often make all the difference in the world! Take it easy today! :goodvibes

::yes:: Yes I did, Elin! Well, that one or my work email, which I check even more frequently (but can't have tons of stuff sent to). :goodvibes

I think so too! And I think it ought to have a hint for your friends... :rolleyes1

:rotfl: Great minds think alike! :rolleyes1

But mostly, it's just that Valentine's Day is over. I just have to think on what I might want to create (quickly, since I really don't have time to hang out here all day!)....

It's a little long (5min) but this video is amazing...

Computers can do some amazing things. But they may never outstrip the human mind. Stephen Wiltshire illustrates this, literally. He is an autistic man with an incredible ability. He can see an entire cityscape and reproduce it perfectly on paper. Watch him draw Rome after flying over it in a helicopter.

That was cool! It's amazing what the mind can do. Thanks for sharing.

Ok, maybe this only matters to Denise, and maybe even then only ever so slightly....

But I have just found out I've been living under a rock!

Tom Glavine (one of my all-time favorite pitchers) and Javier Lopez (the first love of my life (Kyle knows ;)) have both rejoined the Atlanta Braves! Holy cow! It's like old, championship-winning times! :yay: :yay: :yay:

Well, I can't take it easy too much. I start recitals again at 10:15. I am judging and playing concerto accompaniments for 7 hours today.

But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Bob and I had asked Kristin to go out to dinner tonight after I am done. One of our downtown restaurants (Caroline Street Café, Tammi) does a special dinner for certain holidays, Valentine's Day being one of those dates. They extended the offering for Friday and Saturday evenings as well this year. When I saw their chef's choices I decided we would give it a try tonight. My boss and one of my co-workers said it sounded like a nice end to the day. Since the 3 of us are very good friends and our DHs get along so well I invited them and their spouses to join us. So, we have a party planned for 5:30 tonight before the madness begins tomorrow morning at 10:15 again! :rotfl:

well, get to it, woman! I have to get off here and eat something before administering the afore-mentioned drugs! :rotfl2:

So much for not getting on the computer this morning. I woke up in a panic because I remembered getting an email from someone yesterday that couldn't work today and I needed to find them a replacement. For the life of me, I couldn't remember who it was or if I got a replacement. I was thinking I'd have to be scrambling to find someone to drive to Detroit this morning. Luckily, when I got my laptop up and looked in my email, I had taken care of it.

I used to have a fantastic memory. As I get older, it isn't as good. However, with all that I had to do yesterday, I'm surprised I remember my name. :lmao: I found out at 2pm that I needed a bunch of people for a project in Detroit on Wednesday (Monday is a holiday for us). Mind you, I'm already using about 60 of our staff for other projects next week. These projects are extra work above & beyond our normal stuff. So I had to send out requests for volunteers to travel long distances as the local staff are already to capacity. It worked out but that contributed to me staying here last night.

Vicki - I thought you were going to sleep in this morning!

ETA: We must have been brain wave sharing! As you posted why you were up already I was asking why you were up already!!

I'm trying to decide if I should get up and head out or whether I want another hour or two of sleep. I have a headache this morning so I've taken some Tylenol. Decisions, decisions. I made too many of them yesterday and have none left for personal ones today.

Hi Elin! I am doing fine, I myself got some much needed rest last night :thumbsup2 Glad to hear you are feeling somewhat better this morning!

:wave2: Hi, Janet! How are you doing today?

Oh, how could I forget another busy weekend?! Hopefully the meds really help! Enjoy your dinner :goodvibes

I knew someone would ask which is why I decided to post the answer! :thumbsup2 It's also the reason I posted pictures of my hair even though they aren't the best. I had just enough time to read Thursday night before crashing and saw all the requests for them. I figured when I posted yesterday, it better be my first post or I'd hear about it. :rotfl:

Traveling with a headache is no fun, hopefully you will be rid of it before you leave :wizard:
