DH just called. I had mentioned how DS NEVER uses his locker. For some reason today he went by the locker to get his art supplies out because art is over - he is in computer this semester. His lock is gone, all of his art supplies have been stolen.
Katie does the same thing..she rushes to finish like its a race or something. No advice but I can commiserate with you.

for Kathrin. for Mom!So DS won 3rd place! Yay!Now we don't have to fight about who has to drive the display board to the other school! He got a nice medal and a certificate. He did very well playing the snare and the bass drum.

DH just called. I had mentioned how DS NEVER uses his locker. For some reason today he went by the locker to get his art supplies out because art is over - he is in computer this semester. His lock is gone, all of his art supplies have been stolen.
We aren't sure what all was in there. Sketching pencils, colored pencils, crayons, markers are definitely all gone. With all those blasted supply lists that came home and all the duplication on them I have no clue what else might have been stolen. I don't think the monetary value of it was all that much.
Now there is no way he will start using a locker. He will continue to drag 35 pounds of stuff around in his backpack and he will be completely paranoid about people stealing his stuff. DH is mad because DS doesn't even know how long it has been since he went to the locker so he doesn't know when it happened. Doesn't matter, really, because his stuff is gone.I guess it is good that it happened now when he is finished with art so I don't have to go replace all that stuff! He has plenty of art supplies at home.
