I have been up for hours, can't sleep, so here is what I've been doing,
Bernadette - I say go for it, it's an awful long walk to the Pop bus stop, and carrying Emma would not be a lot of fun.
The more I think about it, the more I am considering driving to Disney our next trip, it only takes a little over eight hours. In the past we have driven half way and spent the night, making our arrival early in the am. We do the same thing on the way back, which allows us a pretty full day in the park before heading out, even with two hotel stays we come out way ahead. I do think I'll invest in a GPS system if we start driving, DH and I are famous for taking "scenic" routes.
Love your new scrapbook pages!!!
Thanks for the stroller OK.

I ordered it today! I was SOOOO scared when Joe fell asleep in the rental on his birthday. He just couldn't take those 12 to 14 hour days and I was really exhausted myself so I really don't think I could have carried him. Luckily he managed to make it with just a few complaints along the way. I guess I could try to slow down but I just can't do that on a short trip.
I would think about driving if I was only 8 hours away. It takes that long to fly for me-leave my house at 6am and arrive at the resort at 2:00 ish.
See if this link will take you to the Groundhog Day card my boss sent me...

Cute card but I cannot say that I'm in love with the Groundhog today.
Hopefully I'll go back to sleep in a bit, I'm pretty disappointed in myself. I had my BG levels looking really good, I had more sugar yesterday than I should and my levels show it this morning.
Don't be too hard on yourself. My WW coach used to say don't beat yourself up but get back on track with the next meal.
Ouch! See why I overpack?
Nope. That was one trip out of 20. Now I would maybe take a taxi somewhere to buy good shoes if I had to but I won't be overpacking.
Funny you should ask! We are trying to firm up our summer travels. I can't decide if I want to travel near 4th of July (that is our normal routine) or closer to August like we did last year. Since Lucy's birthday is July 2, I'd like to be home for it but then again I'd like to celebrate it with her godmother who lives in Michigan. Decisions, decisions. Once I firm up our plans with the family we are visiting I'll let you know for sure. I will certainly want to get together.
Thanks Bernadette, I'm making progress but it is soooo slooooooooooooooooooooooooooow And I am very mad they took that Tink border off.
How about Disney in August? A few others will be there!
I am done with photopass!

Hope things aren't too slooooooow for you.
I promise to give you guys a break before I post more.
Don't stop! I love seeing them!!!!
Thanks, everyone, for the good wishes for Kathrin. She is understandably very excited and very scared right now. Although she worked practically full-time the whole way through high school and college (her choice, not ours) and lived in a dorm for 3 years and on her own in an apartment or house for the past 6 years, she has never really lived away from us. I don't consider a little under an hour's drive far away. She realized on the drive home from the airport that she was "leaving home" in a month. That has to be scary for her. I know it is for me! Within the next 4 months or so, Bob and I will truly become empty-nesters (God willing on Kristin's part!!

), I guess. Wow... the possibilities are endless!
For all of you!
It went well...it was loud...it was long...but they had a good time.
Physic Eve was a little freaky with some of her fortunes. She used tarot cards...and one point I was getting a little scared.
Glad the girls had a good time! I went to an adult one with booze but I still wasn't crazy about doing it.
I really think it is because she still isn't feeling 100%.
Poor baby Lucy (who I can not believe is 7 months old)! Hope she's 100% her happy self soon! myEmma still isn't 100%. She had a nap today and has been a bit cranky.
Not really - that's what the "magnetic" option is for! Makes everything SO MUCH easier! I had a photo of my cat playing in a brown paper bag and was able to cut that out and plop him into a
DCL cabin.
Can't wait to see your cruisin kitty!
Robyn - We went to Cafe Brazil. It's a local chain. I had the French Toast with fruit. HUGE portion of melon, strawberries, bananas over French toast with raspberry cream sauce. It's my favorite. They also have an awesome self-serve coffee bar.
We should go there when you guys come to Dallas.
YUM! I love going out for breakfast!
He was looking at our photopass pics and said he really would like to go to WDW. He wants to stay in Cinderella's castle. Maybe I can scam out of him for his favorite God daugther?
Is he busy in mid August?
im so annoyed at dell! i clicked for the dell chat because and was 55 in line ...so i waited and waited...finally its my turn and the dell person ended the chat.....so now im in line again...ugh!
Hope you got that straightened out!
Bernadette,
Yes good shoes are a must for walking. Stephanie and I were mall walking for a few weeks and I had on sneakers but did not realize that they were really too old and I should have had better ones on. Had a stress fracture and had to use a device for six weeks to help it heal faster. Six very long weeks.
At the time it happened to me my FIL was still alive. He was an orthopedic surgeon so of course he told me to just tough it out. I think it was a good 3 months before it felt 100% again.
That would be lots of fun!!!! Maybe a ride on the Swan boats too!
Bernadette - If you can get resale value out of the stroller, I'd say go for it. $4/day for Disney already makes it worth it over a rental. I know that my carrying strap definitely comes in handy when hitting the airport alone with Terra. Not to mention getting boarded on/off the buses at night when she falls asleep before with hit the stop or on the drive back.
Thanks! I feel kind of foolish or spoiled or wastefull or something because I do have the other Mac but this one really will be so much easier.
Leighanna's birthday is in 3 weeks, and I haven't even thought of a plan for her party yet!
Hi Tom! I'm sure you'll come up with something perfect!
I am very proud of myself!
Great job! And congrats on the tickets too!
Bob and I are going out to dinner in a little while. Hopefully we can talk Disney.
Cool!
I, on the other hand, have done nothing. I watched a movie, wathced tv, took a bubble bath, and now im getting reayd for my mom's birthday dinner. I really dont want to go, as im not feeling good at all, but of course ill go..just hoping for an early night!
Happy Birthday to your Mom! Hope you feel better!
The girls and I cleaned the pig sty (uhhh...house) to presentablity.
Congrats! Wish I could say the same.
