Here is what I would do in a strapless dress:
I would sit down, somehow step on the hem of the dress as I stood up, and pull the whole thing down to my waist. No strapless for me.

not sure where we re eating at yet. Rainforest cafe probably breakfast GC, either Norway princess or Crystal Palace, Possibly Hollywood and Vine late Breakfast.

Chanon - I DID get your emails, thank you very much! I JUST got them since I taught until 8:00. Bob and I will talk and get back to you on those, but I can guarantee it won't be the GF. We didn't particularly like it there when we stayed a few years ago. It made me sad since it was somewhere Bob had always wanted to stay and it was a letdown.

Well, now you have the price - and everything else will be lower than that! :rotlf: Let me know if there are other choices.

And thinking about dinner, and working on the plan for our September trip, and debating about opening a bottle of wine to celebrate...

Kathrin got BOTH jobs!

However (and it is a BIG however, to me!)... they are $10,000 apart in salary offers! Of course, the one she wants more is the one offering less money. She countered and they will get back to her on Monday. But, it is definite that she will be headed to Boston now.

Great. You've never even met me in person and you can tell I am too uncoordinated to wear a strapless dress!

Bernadette - An $80 stroller is not a $500 camera. And your DH didn't have a coronary when you announced that you wanted to buy it. Remember, DH and I argued about that stupid camera for MONTHS and he would not let it go. If your DH felt as strongly about NOT buying the stroller as I did about NOT buying the camera then maybe you would do well to reconsider. As it is, an $80 stroller that will have some resale value is not a big deal.

I'm really not sure, maybe only 2 -3 inches. The wind blowing made it look worse than it was. The roads were fine when I left for work. Sounds like you & Kristine got hit the hardest & it spared us in the middle!

Really?!?! How much did you get? Our schools were all cancelled as of last night. We ended up with about 7" at our house and the official at the airport was 8.6". It was not very pretty driving Phil to work at 5:45 this morning. By 11 when I took Mom, it was much better. Of course, it took me 2 hours to clear the driveway. Guess I got my exercise in for the day!

It wasn't bad here today. We did have cancellations the other day due to the wind & cold. I heard it was bad downstate.

Even though this dinner will mean the end of our trip, I am looking forward to it!

I think it will be fun! It is sad to meet everyone as your trip ends (that happened to us last summer) but meeting other DDAers is always a highlight for us!

Here I am asking for prayers and pixie dust. My 17 year old niece found out several months ago that she is pregnant. She knows that she can't make a marriage work at this age, and she really doesn't want to try. She and Brandon made the decision to place the baby up for adoption, but his parents are trying to talk them out of it. They do not want to help raise the baby, they want the kids to get married, and raise the baby on their own. Could you please pray that they will stay out of this until the baby is placed? Thanks.

The only thing that I really know of is the Fireworks cruise.

I don't have a DDE card yet. I am not planning on many TS meals for May or August so I'm not sure if I want to buy one. Decisions, decisions!

And between you, me and Janet we have enough DDE cards to cover Jennifer and Tammi if they don't have them.
