DDA Chapter 3

I've been playing with designs in Photoimpact. I'm not sure that I like any of them. This is what I've got so far.

Any suggestions?

(I made Chris's siggy :rotfl: He does like it though)

I like them all but I like the Mickey heads the most. The first one doesn't stand out as much.

Bernadette - I hope you and the girls feel better soon!
Thanks!

I used my hip carrier with her in lines, at night, in shows, etc and it was pretty easy.
Oh yeah. I forgot about that. I used a hip carrier with Emma too. She was probably about 25 pounds at the time.

I really like the last one. I like the lion Mickey head too.

Well I bit the bullet and signed up for a Photoshop Class at our local community college. It starts tonight! I take that as a sign. It's only three weeks long; and there is another session right afterwards too for more advanced stuff.
ETA: It may not be geared toward scrapbooking, but I'll learn the functions of where everything is! I think that's the hardest thing for me right now...where do I find what I want to do!

I did make it to work ok - a few garbage cans were in my yard (trash day for us is Friday...) and there was this Step2 desk that was as one neighbors yard and now is about 4 houses up...

I hope everyone is doing good!!!
That's great! Then maybe after you learn everything you can host a virtual class for us. :teeth:

I really like the page you posted. How did you do the shadowing? I suppose maybe I should read the tutorial or something.

Yeah, only they call me to say school is OPEN! :headache:
I hope your internet stays fixed!

Kristine - Yay for a psychic! If she gets stuck she can call me or Heidi and we will help her!:lmao:
Even bigger yay for a trip in 11 days!! I call for ADRs on Sunday!

So I got a call from the insurance office about 2:30. It was Youngster, calling to tell me they can't process our refinance until they have photocopies of BOTH DRIVER'S LICENSES! :headache:  :headache: I called DH and woke him up from his nap to tell him we had to go BACK to the office. They had all the other paperwork done LAST WEDNESDAY. It took them a WEEK to figure this out! So DH met me over there and they copied our DLs. Then she faxed them in and the finance people said they will overnight a check to Nissan. Maybe today, but maybe not until tomorrow. :rolleyes1

Then we went into the other agent's office to try to hash out the billing mess. It is wrong, we have been double billed for DH's life policies, I don't have to send in the amount on the statement. So I *think* it is all taken care of.

The only thing left is for DH to go to the dealership and fill out the paperwork to get the gap insurance refunded. But he agreed to work SEVEN days next week so he won't have any time off to go do that.:sad2:
:thumbsup2 Sounds like things might be looking up.

Jennifer - The things to watch out for in December are:
The rate change from Value to Holiday (around Dec. 17), the parade taping, Pop Warner, and holiday upcharge on meals. Parade weekend makes MK REALLY crowded, but if you can stay out of MK those days it probably isn't a big deal. In '06 we were really cold at MVMCP, but in '07 it was barely cold enough for a sweatshirt. That makes packing tricky.
I agree with Tia that you never know what timeline kids will walk on. My first charge could cruise furniture when she was 7 mos. DS didn't even pull himself to stand until 9 mos. and he didn't PREFER walking until about 13 mos. My friend's charge is 15 mos. and still doesn't walk, so you just never know.
Quite frankly, it may be easier for you if she is NOT walking. Then you don't have to worry about her toddling off somewhere or getting smooshed in the crowds.

Howdy all!!!

I've been reading along

Heidi-have fun with your hysterectomy(that sounds funny). My mom had one when she was my age and felt much better afterward. Though it didn't stop the blood clots like they thought it would.

Chris-stop by more often!!

Deb-sorry about the snowboarding...the boys must be disappointed. I like the Mickey Ears...and would love a zebra in the ears (that's one of Abi's and I's favorite animal:lovestruc )

Jennifer(s)-hope you both are feeling better

Elizabeth- Happy Birthday!!
glad the insurance is getting figured out.

Robyn-I bet you it is the changes in weather for Miss Lucy...poor Abi is having a heck of a time because of our wild weather.

Kristine-sounds like such a cool party!! Hope everybody is feeling up to it!!

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for any sickies I missed.

Deb - I like the Mickey head ones. The AK one is nice too, but I think the black background is too dark. The top edges of the design get lost and the letters need to pop more.

Well, we won't be going to WDW this Saturday as planned. The kids and I are all really sick, and DD has the flu (even with the shot). Rees is coughing, not eating, and exhausted. There is no way any of them need to be going to parks or flying. Originally we were scheduled for Sept 2007, but when Rees got sick and was in the hospital for 22 days, we cancelled. Maybe April will be our lucky month!!!

Denise sorry to hear this. Hope you are all back to 100% soon :wizard:

While 87 days sounds like an eternity compared to 3 days, I know you are ALL going to be well when April rolls around, and you are going to have the best trip EVER!

Take care Denise!!!

I was just getting ready to type this, but my line of thinking has to do with Mommy's and Daddy's energy. Matthew really gave us a RUN for our money this past trip...ask Stephanie who only got to meet Kevin and Matthew for two seconds. :rotfl:

Yeah, that too!

Sorry, Denise.

Amy put it so well that I am going to ditto

Well I survived religion class!:worship: One of the boys was sick so I only had 5. Then of them had to leave early so down to 4 which was small enough to get them all reading outloud. They tried to act up but I promised them one peice of candy from the candy dish if they did both chapters & answered all the questions. I also gave them lots of stickers. They weren't quiet but all in all we got through it! Not sure how much they retained though!:rotfl:

Kristine,
Hope Jackie is better in time for her party!

Deb,
I like the mickey heads & the AK sign. Very cool!

Chris,
Hi!!

Vicki,
Yea Dana doesn't come on too much either. He just asks for a recap every so often.

I like August way better than December. The last MVMCP we went to was sooooo cold. The kids had on their winter jackets & we all ended up sick. I love Christmas at Disney but not the chance of the weather not being warm enough. August..you know what you are going to get. You can get wet & rained on & it doesn't matter since its so hot..Not great for taking pictures:lmao: but we like it!!!:thumbsup2

I am feeling alot worse. Headache & general fogginess. I am heading to bed early. Good night!
