DDA Chapter 3

The way I always find it is by right clicking on someone else's, then selecting properties. It tells you where it is being hosted. I can never remember even when I have it bookmarked since I have so much bookmarked.

thanks I was forgetting to click on properties I had right clicked but could not remember the rest.

I'm taking the afternoon off from work because I'm cold and not feeling well. I don't think I'll get any sewing done today. I hope you get yourself motivated. I'm curled up on the recliner with my blanket.

I hope you're feeling better today, Vicki! :wizard:

It is FREEZING here! I'm so cold I want to turn the heat way up to some horrible number! I'm wrapped in a sweater, a shawl, and the fleece blanket Karen made me for Christmas. Brrrrr! Alan just called and told me that we are going to see our niece in a high school production of Hamlet tonight. All I want to do is soak in a hot tub and then curl up in my flannel jammies with a good book! Oh well!

Yikes! Hope the night went okay. :wizard:

We are under a blowing snow advisory till midnight. Our temps are sitting at 19 right now, it is snowing & the winds are gusting! Our forecasted windchills aren't looking to good for tonight  Deb, Vicki, & Glynis I hope you all stay warm. I am in my pj's wrapped up in blankets on the couch.

Wow - this weather is crazy! :wizard:

Hope you all stay warm, I won't tell you that I came home and turned the AC on. . . . .

Jennifer, you have started something very addicting, in a few months you'll have two little additions that will require "LOTS" of pictures.

Jennifer (bear74) it's been a while since we've seen any pictures of your two princesses. (hint, hint)

Love the latest page, Debbie!

Well I am feeling worse & I sound funny when I talk..my chest hurts but I have great news!!!!

First, Katie came home with her report card. 7 A+'s & 1 A!!!!!!!!:cheer2:
I am so proud of her!!!!!!

She had 6 days absent (when she had strep before the holidays) She will have 4 more in April;) Thats the most she has ever been out for a year but she kept her grades up..I am so happy for her. And she's pretty thrilled right now herself and in a good mood so I will enjoy that while it lasts.:lmao:

The other news is (not sure if you all remember/know that I teach 3rd grade religion.) The boys in my class are rather disruptive to say the least. It has been very difficult getting them to do their lessons or even listen to a story. 2 of them just yell throughout the whole class & draw circles all over their work. One is just downright rude. :headache: After every meeting my head aches & I know the kids get nothing from it..all they want to do is go outside & play football. Then I have to sit with Daniel separately & do the whole lesson over. Well I called a mom from Daniel's school who mentioned she was doing religion next year. I asked her if she had room for Daniel & she does! So he will go to the religion class with his peers from his new school. And I will not have to yell through an entire hour lesson each week.
Can you say ..."Double bonus points!!!!!!!!!":dance3: :yay:  :worship: :upsidedow

I have Sophie in a class of a friend so she is taken care of. I will continue to teach the 6th grade girls who are an absolute pleasure & be able to focus on them all the more.

I'm sorry you're still not feeling well! for Katie, and :woohoo: for getting rid of ill-behaved boys! That is just unconscionable behavior! :sad2:

Wow, Princess does her own laundry?!! You really do know how to train kids Elizabeth! :rotfl:

Good evening DDA!

Bernadette, you posted some more awesome pictures in your trip report the other day! :thumbsup2

I'm enjoying seeing all the digital scrapbook pages! I don't even want to think about how many hundreds of dollars worth of supplies I have sitting, collecting dust, in my very cluttered craft room.

I hope everyone starts feeling better soon. :wizard:

I took Matty to his 18-month WELL appointment today, only to find out he has another ear infection. Poor kid must be used to them, because he's been sleeping fine, not tugging on his ears, etc. It's a good thing he's a medicine junkie! He's like a little bird when he sees a medicine dropper. :rotfl:

Kevin has another city council meeting tonight, so Alyssa's movie of choice is Mulan. For now, it even has Matty's attention.

Have a good night and stay warm!
Amy :)

Hi, Amy! Hope Matthew starts feeling better soon. And good luck with the scissor tutorials! ;)

Lucy finally started eating cereal/fruit today. I have tried and tried to get her to eat it but all she would do was put in her mouth, shudder and then stick her tongue out with all the food just sitting there. Isn't she cute?!?

I don't think I have ever wanted to hug a baby as much as I'd love to hug Lucy, Robyn! She is just too cute! Love the little pigtails, too! :thumbsup2

Who wants to celebrate with me?

My obgyn, said today that its about time to have a hysterectomy.

Happy Birthday Elizabeth to your DS I hope your concert goes well and your cake taste wonderful

O yes, its long over due. The problems are getting worse the older I get and I the problems are twice as likely to cause cancer if something is not done.

Well, if you are happy about it, then I'm happy to celebrate with you. party:

I had a frustrating day....it seems 4 groups were listening to me last night....AFTER they all "planned" THEIR event for the same day and told me about it today!!:headache:

So I spent the day putting out those fires.....they ain't out yet but I did have the last "come to Jesus" talks with a co-worker. I actually like him as a person but his calendering skills stink!!:headache:I left the office a little after 5 (had to come home and make sure Cassidy got dinner before basketball band) and as I'm closing up my program realized he scheduled something for the whole church on a day when the whole church has already been scheduled. :scared1:

In the middle of it Jim comes in (he was dropping Cassidy off for piano lessons) and I tell him I'm having a VERY busy day and I'll talk to him later....he proceeds to try and pick a fight:mad: I told him very nicely to leave...had to...their were people EVERYWHERE.

and to top it off the last hour and a half I've had a high pitched low volume ringing in my ear

I'm sorry, Theresa!

I think this week needs to be over for a lot of us!!

My poor little Emma has the DDA bug. She's got a lot of head congestion, a low grade fever and runny/mushy poo. She's getting lots of practice using the potty without a ring.

I'm not feeling so hot myself. A bit of a head ache and my eyes feel hot. I also haven't been able to sleep. I went to bed at a reasonable hour last night (around 10pm) only to wake up around 1 and I couldn't fall asleep again.

I'm working on my photopass pictures. They have added more borders choices. Have I mentioned it is SLOW.......

Yikes - not you guys, too! Lots of :wizard: :wizard: that it passes quickly!

DS got his report card today. A's except Math and band which were B's. His semester exam grades and his semester averages were all A's & B's, too, except Math. He missed a B for the semester by ONE POINT! :headache: But we are proud of him. He has worked hard to get through the first semester of middle school!

WTG, DS!

12,000 Thank You DDA

Congrats, Jennifer!

Question for anyone that has gone on a disney cruise...does anyone happen to still hvae the navigators they get every day on the cruise?

I have mine from the 4-day Wonder if you need to see those, Jennifer. There are usually some updated ones on the DIS, too. I think there should be a link to them in the sticky FAQ on the Cruise forum.

Our cake lady just called to confirm delivery of DS's cake!:dance3:

I may just have to come to your house for a piece! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I will FINALLY have some cake this afternoon - it's one of our assistant's b-days, and the other asst. made a cake. Yummy!

I managed to get the fabric wahed and dried. I ironed all the fabric and the pattern pieces which I cut out. I got it all pinned and the material is now cut into the proper peices. I will not have time to start sewing until Saturday. Hopefully I will get it all done this weekend. I also scanned the fabric into the computer in several different places so I have a wonderful assortment of scenes to use for the boys designs. Why can't I use this motivation to clean my house? :confused3

Because it's no fun!!!

Kathrin is headed back to Boston on Friday for a second interview with company #2. They loved her writing samples and she "passed" their caliper tests as they thought she would. She is required to meet with their CEO before they can offer her a job, so she is making a flying trip up there. I cannot believe her boss in Richmond STILL doesn't know what is going on! Good thoughts need to wing her way, please!!

Lots of best wishes for Kathrin! Knock 'em dead! :wizard: :wizard:

Heidi,

I had mine at 37 and it was the best decision I ever made. Of course the hot flashes started a year later, but with all of the pain I was having from the endometriosis (sp?) it was still worth it.

If my mom was on here, she would be the senior member.

And you look great. :)

What do we need to do to get your mom on here? :lmao: My mother turned 65 this year. She was 18 for 8 days when I was born. How old is your mom?

Who wants to celebrate with me?

My obgyn, said today that its about time to have a hysterectomy.

Really, Heidi, if that is good news to you then that is terrific! :) I hope you can get it scheduled and that all goes well! :wizard:

Lindsay - You are welcome to stop by for cake. My house is a gigantic mess, but that's pretty much the permanent state of things.;)

Still no word from the insurance people, but I didn't really expect them to call. I will call them once they have had time to get back from lunch. I called Nissan again and they still don't have the payoff.

I called Pepsico to get UNlocked from the website and it turns out the form I need isn't even on there! DH has to get one at work or they have to e-mail it to me. I left a message to have it e-mailed so we'll see how that goes.

If anybody has the 2008 Birnbaum book I would LOVE to have the 20% off fishing excursion coupon from the back if you aren't going to use it. DH really wants to do the bass fishing charter and I don't know if there is any other way to get a discount.

That isn't included in the discounts for Annual Passholders? I thought the fishing excursions were included but I am probably wrong.

I am finished with my uterus so I certainly wouldn't miss it. I would just worry about other things moving out of place once the uterus was gone. :scared:

I can't tell. At one point there was a link to "special outings" or something like that from the AP page, but if you clicked it you ended up on a regular page. That's where the fishing was listed.:confused3 I did ask about it once and the CM said it isn't discounted. But all of the other Birnbaum coupons are discounts you can get with AAA or AP, so who knows? :confused3

I just looked at the Passholder benefits and it isn't listed. Rentals through Sammy Duvall's are discounted but not fishing.

EDIT:
AllEars says those excursions are $250, so it would be worth it to buy the book just to get the coupon! I get coupons from Borders all the time so I can get a discount on the book.
