DDA Chapter 3

My poor little Emma has the DDA bug. She's got a lot of head congestion, a low grade fever and runny/mushy poo. She's getting lots of practice using the potty without a ring.

I'm not feeling so hot myself. A bit of a head ache and my eyes feel hot. I also haven't been able to sleep. I went to bed at a reasonable hour last night (around 10pm) only to wake up around 1 and I couldn't fall asleep again.

I'm working on my photopass pictures. They have added more borders choices. Have I mentioned it is SLOW.......
I hope you both feel better soon!:wizard:

DS got his report card today. A's except Math and band which were B's. His semester exam grades and his semester averages were all A's & B's, too, except Math. He missed a B for the semester by ONE POINT! :headache: But we are proud of him. He has worked hard to get through the first semester of middle school!
Horray for DS's report card!!!!!!!!:yay: :yay: :yay: :thumbsup2

what do you all do to distinguish your stroller from the rest of them?
I put a cheao scarf on it that I got from ac moore.

Kathrin is headed back to Boston on Friday for a second interview with company #2. They loved her writing samples and she "passed" their caliper tests as they thought she would. She is required to meet with their CEO before they can offer her a job, so she is making a flying trip up there. I cannot believe her boss in Richmond STILL doesn't know what is going on! Good thoughts need to wing her way, please!!
Continued good luck to Kathrin!:wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Here's my third attempt - my first two are on the other computer and Bob deleted them already. Go figure. It's not my favorite...there really are too many things to figure out at once with this thing! I need a manual. There has to be a "Dummies guide to Photoshop" right??

Night everyone!
Very nice!

Hi everyone, I am sorry I have not been posting, I was so upset having to see us start a new thread. I just do not understand why it had to be done. I am unhappy that the old one cannot be found. I forgot to write down things I wanted to look up and now cannot remember what they were. I guess I just had a pi$$y attitude and wanted to whine, whine, whine.

I really am doing good. I did stay home yesterday because the bathroom and I became intimate friends all day. I had soup today for lunch but it did not like me. I came home and had tea and crackers tonight and rested on the recliner for a few hours with a few cuddly kitties making sure to lay on my belly which actually helped. Purring is so soothing. :goodvibes

So now I have to catch up.
Glad to see you Terry, feel better!!!

I got no sleep last night. Throat still hurts & so does my stomach but I was called into work today so that should be fun....not.
Hopefully it will be a slow day.

After work, I have religion. Yes, my boys will be here tonight. I think what I am going to do is if they can't calm down & stop yelling & am going to just call their parents to come get them. I am not going to try to read over their yelling especially the way I feel today.

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for everyone whose not feeling well!

Have a great day!

Well I tried once before and it didn't work, but heck lets try again. :wizard: :wizard: sickies be gone. :wizard: :wizard:

Lizzy got her first tooth at 3 months. At 7 months she had 8 teeth. Emma didn't get a tooth til after 9 months.

DS got his first teeth about 5 mos. - they always came in pairs. By his first B-day he had 14 teeth. Princess is 2 and she only has 12 teeth!

As for distinguishing the stroller, Stephanie made a printout of her DGS's picture and put it in a plastic sleeve with the words "If this is not your kid, this is not your stroller" or words to that affect

That is hilarious! :rotfl2:

I can remember when the boys were in school, I could have played the same recording for each one when we went in for parent teacher conferences. He has the ability but does not apply. He would rather draw in the margins of his work. When it comes to art, he has perfect grades. I have yet to see him hand in half of his English homework. Yada, Yada, Yada, ---- Blah Blah Blah

Oh, the drawings in the margins drive me mad! :headache:
Glad to see you back here, Terry! The new thread is not bad at all! :goodvibes

Good Morning DDA,

I don't have time to catch up this morning, I have a March of Dimes kickoff luncheon today so I better take a little more time getting ready and try and look presentable.

Have a great day and I'll check in this evening.

Debbie

Have a good day, Debbie!

Morning DDA! :wave2: I get to leave early for work today thanks to 40 mile an hour winds! The news this morning showed photos of bent flag poles from last night...

Stay warm!

Drive carefully, Chanon!

Feel better, Anne Marie! I hope work isn't too bad! Definitely don't tolerate those boys disrupting your class.

Today is DS's birthday. :) He said he is going to try to get all of his work done in class today so he won't have very much homework. I know he is disappointed about having to stay for band.

I took Matty to his 18-month WELL appointment today, only to find out he has another ear infection. Poor kid must be used to them, because he's been sleeping fine, not tugging on his ears, etc. It's a good thing he's a medicine junkie! He's like a little bird when he sees a medicine dropper. :rotfl:

Have a good night and stay warm!
Amy :)

I hope Matthew's ears clear up. Jake was like that -- he had pneumonia twice very young, plus several ear infections. He used to watch when they gave him shots/poked his finger and never cried.

So -- are you giving Alyssa lessons in "using scissors with control" today? :rotfl:

saw the chiropractor I fell a lot better.

Jennifer -- I saw this and was relieved for you, then saw that you started having spasms again. I hope you are feeling better now.

Lucy finally started eating cereal/fruit today. I have tried and tried to get her to eat it but all she would do was put in her mouth, shudder and then stick her tongue out with all the food just sitting there. Isn't she cute?!?

What a doll! I love the mini pigtails!

Marci - Got your check today! Thanks!

The insurance thing just frustrates me to no end. If I could call the billing office directly I could probably get it fixed.

Time for dinner!

Wow -- that check got there quickly. Thanks again! Congrats to your DS and please tell him Happy Birthday! I hope the cake is fantastic!

I managed to get the fabric wahed and dried. I ironed all the fabric and the pattern pieces which I cut out. I got it all pinned and the material is now cut into the proper peices. I will not have time to start sewing until Saturday. Hopefully I will get it all done this weekend. I also scanned the fabric into the computer in several different places so I have a wonderful assortment of scenes to use for the boys designs. Why can't I use this motivation to clean my house? :confused3

Wow -- you got a lot done! I'm impressed -- can't wait to see the final products.

PD to Kathrin for safe travels and a great interview.

Anne Marie -- I hope time flies by today at work and the naughty boys behave. I do think you should call their parents.

PD to all of those who are sick!

I got on the elliptical again last night. Now that I'm doing better with exercise, I need to get my eating under control. I've been doing better, but I'm still hungry all of the time. I'm getting tired of munching on carrots and apples...

Have a great day everyone! :)

Terry I know what you mean about not being to happy about nneding to start a new thread but hey if it makes the boards go faster then okay
I hope you feel better fast:wizard:

If anyone is thinking of coming to Camp Hill, Pa for the Mega Mouse Meet in July, I hope they will have the Segways for us to ride again. That was so much fun.

I have signed up to go,but have not heard anything since that day. I did sign up for the email list. I know things initially went in my SPAM box, so I am not sure if I missed anything or not

So my Strawberry soup is made, I need to get dressed and head to work.

It is about 50 degrees outside, but windy and rainy and it is supposed to be in the upper 20's by the time the day is over. Can I stay home??:confused3 :confused3 :rotfl:

Have a great day and I hope the sickies feel better.:wizard: :wizard: I hope no one gets blown away.

Congrats on the milestone Miss Jennifer! :teeth: I agree with whomever posted that Virginia might be teething...either that or she found a new hobby! :rotfl:

Robyn - Lucy is just too cute!!!!

Feel better Vicki!

Anne Marie... I hope you start to feeling better, but even more so... I hope you send those boys HOME! I cannot believe that they would act that way in another person's home!! :confused3

Night everyone!

I think it looks fabulous! Nice job with drop shadows, etc. And yes, I'm sure there is a "...for Dummies" or "Complete Idiot's Guide..." out there somewhere. I love those books for other things, I bet they would be great!

Well, airfare for Feb - May is down to $179 round trip on American! MUCH better than $377! The flight DH would need going TO MCO looks like it might go pretty low, coming home looks like it might stay expensive. But that's life in the big city.
If we can get a $79 one way to MCO I will grab it, then I'll just watch and see what we can do for getting him back home. Right now the August flights are still $377.

Well, the temperature here is -15 before the wind chill. The wind is howling and the trees are swaying! All the schools in the area are closed. It's a pretty nasty day out there.

I'm loving all the scrapbook pages. You guys are doing some neat stuff. I don't know if I'll ever go digital. I don't know that I would do that any more than the regular. I enjoy the feel of the pictures & paper in my hands (when I do make the time) to scrapbook.

It was great to wake up to all Terry's posts this morning. Hi Terry!

Hey Stephanie! You need to pop in more often too! :wave2:

Good Morning DDA,

I don't have time to catch up this morning, I have a March of Dimes kickoff luncheon today so I better take a little more time getting ready and try and look presentable.

Have a great day and I'll check in this evening.

Debbie

ohh I need to find out when our luncheon is thanks for the reminder

I hope you all are doing well. I had an absolutely AWFUL night. The winds picked up again (our giant gas grill ended up 2 lots over, if that's saying anything), I slept about 45 minutes, and had a massive asthma attack when trying to sleep in the guest bedroom. What the heck?! New allergy to the comforter? I know we keep that room clean, and everything is washed fairly regularly, so again -- what the heck? My chest is still killing me.

Oh well. I'm leaving early today, and if Eric suggests otherwise I will probably just kill him, however inadvertently. :rolleyes1

Have a great day! :teeth:

Jennifer -- I saw this and was relieved for you, then saw that you started having spasms again. I hope you are feeling better now.

not really. it must be the way I'm sleeping I slept on my right side with a pillow behind my back. Nut when I went to move to get Virginia the spasms started again they are all on the left side. I took a hot shower around 545 when Jeff got thru with his. he had to be at work at 6. I took some adbil around 615 right now i have a heating pad on it and if I try to stretch wich the drs told me to do it spasms. I need to get better I have to work tomorrow.

Whoa! It is FREEZING cold out there! The winds are fierce!

Just got back from taking Leighanna to school! I didn't want her waiting outside in this wind and cold for very long!

Terry, nice to see you posting here!

Robyn, Lucy is an absolute doll!

Everyone's scrapbooking pages look great! I have saved alot of the info in my favorites. I just don't know if I have time for another "hobby"!:rotfl:

Have a great day everyone!
