DDA Chapter 3

i actually think im going to head to bed early--at least get in bed and watch tv..not sure what im going to do tomrorow now that there is no football to watch!

Have a great night all

Thanks, everyone! Glynis -- the crowds were very light except at night when The NAMM Show let out. Then, the 100,000 people who didn't care to hit all the concert venues would head over to DL and DCA and DD and it would get crowded. We basically walked onto every ride, even Buzz Lightyear!

I tried Space Mountain on this trip and LOVED it. It is so smooth, much better than the one at WDW. I HATE that ride there.

I was going to ride California Screamin' because Patrick promised (a) "it is as smooth as Space Mountain, Mrs. H!" and (b) he would hold my hand the whole way! :rotfl: But when we got there the last night it was down for technical problems. Guess I will have to go back now!
I wonder why they don't decorate iasw in WDW for Christmas. :confused3

A couple of years ago, Miss Michigan was one of my friends daughters from when we lived in Perkins. She was friends with Katrina. We spent quite a bit of time together before we moved to Iron Mountain. Her mother & I were quite good friends. I still sent Christmas cards to them when we moved. She made it to the top 10. It was neat to watch her.

I don't remember my 30th either. It was very uneventful for me. I graduated from college 6 months before that. That was the only thing that mattered. I had set a goal that I would get my bachelors degree before I was 30.

We didn't do much today but it sure seemed like I was busy. Nicholas had an Egyptian project that he had to do, so Bob and I spent a lot of the afternoon helping him with that. He wanted to do a map of ancient Egypt, so I took him to Walmart and we got some poster board and sand paper. He used the sand paper to make the desert. Then we used different colors of scrapbook paper for the Red and Meditteranian Seas. He even made 3 dimensional pyramids and sphinxes. I hope his teacher likes it. We went out to dinner at Logan's Steakhouse. I was craving some red meat and had a yummy steak. After that we came home and watched The Jungle Book.

Vicki - the photopass came today! Thank you so much. We also spent time looking through all of the pictures.

Oh jeez...let's see, I will be at Epcot and then Cali Grill for dinner...hopefully I keep it together :rotfl:

If you are going to have a problem with a birthday, I can't think of a better place to be than Disney! :dance3:

So you should cry tears of joy then! :rotfl2:

After looking at our photopass pictures today I suddenly got very 'home'sick! :sad1:

The project that I'm working on had a fantastic day today. We had one team do 200 machines in one day. Another team has a really tough site and they got a little more than half done in one day. We weren't sure it could be done in 2 days so that is fantastic! I'm so excited. The staff are really taking up the challenge and proving they are awesome!

They were some really nice pictures! I enjoyed the extra pictures from Tusker House. I still think Elizabeth's DH looks like the cowardly lion with the mane of hair behind him. :lmao:

I can't seem to remember what I even did for my 30th bday...

I was pregnant with Katie on my 30th birthday, and I spent the day puking my guts out! Alan took me out to dinner later that night, and I remember having to run to the restroom several times during that meal. I thought it would never end!

That's what Nicholas said when he saw the picture!

Mom is almost done ripping CD's. I love her but she can wear me out. She is so worried about my sister and the kids that she goes on & on about it. My sister & the kids can use some pixiedust and prayers. I can't go into details but they are dealing with some very tough stuff right now.

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: You got it, Vicki.

I just got done looking at Robyn's photopass pictures. They are sooooo cute! Lucy looks like such a happy baby.

Jennifer - your scrapbook is wonderful! I so want to learn how to do that. Will you print it out and put it into an album, or will it always be virtual?

Now I'm off to look at Clare's.
